in 1997 in Philadelphia a mother lays her baby to bed. Shortly after a house fire breaks out. The child's mother tries desperately to save her baby but upon approaching the crib her baby is gone. The mother screams at the firemen her baby has been stolen and refuses to believe her 10-day old infant perished. 6 years later she finds out what actually that evening of the fire and it is shocking. 1945 in West Virgina a family wakes up to their home filled with smoke and flames. It takes 7 hours for help to arrive. By 8 a.m the Sodder family's home has been reduced to ashes. Not everyone made it. 5 children who were assumed to be dead in the fire were not.
