All right, let's start the show with the one big takeaway, the one big thing, so to say. I don't know what the I don't know exactly what we're gonna call it yet, but it's like the one thing that we got to talk about at the top of the show. All right, the one thing, the big takeaway is that the Denver Nuggets are inevitable, like thanos. They're just an immovable force. So many people were like, oh, yeah, Trista, they lost Bruce Brown, they lost Jeff Green. They didn't

do a goddamn thing to replace him. What did the Nuggets do to protect the throne. Nothing, not a goddamn thing. They are cooked like barbecue chicken. And on paper that was true. And then the GM of the Nuggets, Calvin Booth, went on the record with the athletic and was like, Yo, Brucey b good luck with all that you guys enjoy him, Indiana buyer, Beware, he's not as big, he's not as skilled, he's not as athletic as our guy Peyton Watson. And we all chuckled. We all said, oh, he's being he's

just being silly. We were making fun of him. Had come out and he had to apologize about those comments. But guess what. Guess what he didn't say. He didn't say he thought that he was wrong. He didn't say that he misspoke about Peyton Watson. So everyone was out there being like, Okay, the Denver Nuggets are gonna be significantly worse. And then the actual basketball started. They rolled the ball out and it was like, oh shit, we are screwed. Because the Nuggets folks are a goddamn wagon.

They are unstoppable, doesn't matter who they play. They reeled off three straight wins in a shortened first week against I don't know, the Los Angeles Lakers went to the Western Conference Finals. The Grizzlies, top three team in the West, the Oklahoma Sydney Thunder consensus most exciting team to take the biggest jump in the Western Conference, and it was it was disturbing how they did how they did it

was disturbing, specifically how they handled the Lakers. Lakers were talking all that shit, Oh yeah, they fortified the roster, we found a Jokic killer, we got healthy. They circled a matchup on their calendar. They were a confident boy, oh yeah, and guess what his game started and it was like, oh oh, this is not gonna work for the Lakers. They just got trucked by jokicch and them boys. Ad had seventeen at the half. We were like, yay, Ad, And then he had seventeen at the end of the game.

He was running around trying to chase the yokicch down. He was out of breath, he was tired, he wasn't ready. He It was so bad that every morning show the next day destroyed. Anthony Davis, steven A was skipped. It was Jason Williams. They're like, oh yeah, Ad, can't be this version of you. If the Lakers are gonna do a goddamn thing. Lebron's complaining. He's like, oh, the only reason we lost is because I was on a minute restriction. He's yelling at the coaching staff, being like, I could

play point guard two. Why am I just floating around out here against the defending champs. Michael Porter Junior turned into Rodman overnight. I think he had twelve rebounds. He's now a rebounding machine. The Nuggets made Austin Reeves look like some random white boy from Arkansas. They ruined Gabe Vincent's career in a span of like that they exposed him. He was in negative seventeen, zero for four shooting from three, two turnovers, three fouls, and twenty two minutes. He's essentially

not playable. Same story with the grizz Zero answers for you, Okich, Anne Murray, Aaron Gordon, KCP Strap, Desmond Bane. Desmond Baine was one for ten from three the game before. Desmond was five for ten. The Grizzlies, by the way, had to play all their starters thirty plus minutes just to stay in the game, and we got twenty minutes of who Peyton Watson my God, they were playing with the Grizzlies. They didn't care. They had all their little role players

playing big time starter minutes. I'm like, where is Jokic? I think Jokic had twenty two points? Is casual? Okay? See we thought that might be a game. Today they get their doors absolutely blown off. To the tune of Michael Porter, Junior didn't even get his ten rebounds because I don't think he played the whole fourth quarter. Jok j had a very easy twenty eight, fourteen and five. Tad Chet Holmgren, Well, it's like to be a big man. Listen here, sir, I've got one hundred pounds on you.

He went from seven blocks in his previous game to zero blocks against the Nuggets. Christian Brown, he's a player plus twenty five and twenty one minutes SGA Game one and two over thirty points SGA in Game three against the Nugs seven points, two for fourteen shooting. Oh boy, so okay. To recap, the Nuggets beat three playoff teams out of the blocks by an average of sixteen fucking points.

More than that, they weren't even trying. They weren't even trying even when the Grizzlies came back and made it a game, or the Lakers got within shouting distance. Eh, that's okay, we're all right, We're good with ours. That happened with Yokich on the bench, by the way, pretty much once he gets on the floor, you might as well be up twenty points, because if you're not, it's a rap for you. Night night, sleep mask. So I would say that the rumors of the Nuggets to demise

the decline has been greatly exaggerated. This is the team to beat. They are the best. Michael Porter Junior now embraces his role as the crash the board specialist, board man gets paid, Peyton Watson, Christian Brown, Reggie Jackson lighting it up off the bench, and the best starting five in all of the league. The Nuggets, dare I say, might be better than they were last year. And if they are, good luck trying to beat these motherfuckers.
