Do You Mishear Lyrics to Songs?

I am notorious for mishearing lyrics to songs. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in the car with a friend, singing my heart out when they abruptly stop my performance, bursting out laughing as they explain what the lyrics ACTUALLY are. My embarrassment aside, it’s funny how mishearing a few lines left me to think so many songs were about completely different topics than the artist intended.

How often have you heard scripture misquoted? Or maybe you have recited a phrase you thought was Biblical only to find out years later isn’t even in the Bible?
