Sean Godsell - Empathy in architecture

Our guest in this episode is Sean Godsell from Sean Godsell Architects, based in Victoria. Sean is one of Australia’s most celebrated architects who won the Australian Institute of Architects Gold Medal in 2022 for his contribution to the profession. In this interview, Sean shares what he went through designing projects for people without housing, how producing these projects provoked conversation and debate around the associated issues of housing people in need, and how working on the smaller projects affected the design of some of Sean’s larger public projects.
