Jacki Lyden is�� a writer and former host & correspondent for NPR News,��who first went to Kabul just as the Taliban left a generation ago.�� She taught journalism for an American NGO in Afghanistan, and has maintained ties with Afghan friends and colleagues.

Heidi Miller, M.D. is the Medical Director of the St. Louis Regional Health Commission and a consultant for Alive & Well Communities, a nonprofit promoting equity-centered trauma-informed care in the midwest. Dr. Miller collaborated to design a curriculum and trains healthcare professionals on Trauma-Informed Care.

Hyonjin Im Ph.D. is Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. ��She is a principle author of "A Multitier Model of Refugee Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Resettlement: Toward Trauma-Informed and Culture-Informed Systems of Care" (Psychological Services, H.
