Episode description

Revisiting Benefits of Red Wine

I have re-recorded a podcast about the many benefits of drinking one glass of red wine each day. There are many studies which I talk about that show the positive benefits of red wine. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer behavior in your body as well of benefit in the fight against cardiovascular disease.

I talk about studies that have shown it reduces the risk of diabetes, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, and stroke along with heart disease, obesity, and infectious diseases. It also provides food for beneficial gut bacteria that stops the creation of other bacteria which causes atherosclerosis.

There are many other studies that I cover in this podcast related to colorectal cancer, stem cells, inflammation, aging, blood vessels, and blood clotting. Enough with the lists - listen to the podcast and get all of the details. But remember that this applies to 1 glass for women and 1-2 for men a day, more than that and you will lose the health benefits. So, enjoy and don’t overdo!
