How To Tackle Mondayitis
Truthfully I'm still not 100% good at combating it.
I've spent a lot of time lately figuring out why I'm feeling this way and I guess what I can do to shake things up.
1. Take a break. If you start to feel slump, it's because you’re tired. You’re a bit overworked and you’re due for a bit of a break.
2. Switching things up. Change environment. For example, I'm going to spend a morning at a coffee shop instead of at home and to do some work there.
3. Have a schedule. If you have a daily to do lists, then you might change the schedule just to give you something different and freshen it up a bit.
4. Setting Goals. If you are working for someone else. Make sure toset some new goals that you can stick to. And that will hopefully give you that drive to work ahead with things.
5. Be Grateful. So at the end of the day, even though we have Mondayitis and we don't feel like doing things, which is totally ok. It's really important to be grateful for the fact that you have a job. Particularly if you have one that suits you and pays you well and your boss is great. You like the people you work with and, but even if not, it means that you can keep a roof over your head and food in your tummy. You know you're in the top percentage of privilege in the world.
Remember take some time out, take a break, reassess if you have holiday time coming up, especially over Easter.
