Why Results Take Time
I get it all the time from clients, but particularly at the moment. I have a few who are on a bit of a deadline, you could say to lose that weight or gain that muscle or get whatever goal it is that they want and, you know, they're wanting to rush the process, but I stick to my guns and I won't and I tell them they need to trust the process.
My reasons are, why you should take time to get results as opposed to just hoping to get it straight away is that it's not sustainable.
I want you to think about it like a house. You have to smooth out the land and then put down the concrete and then put up the foundation and then you might start to add more structure to it.
So sure you may be improving one facet, but mental health is such an important factor about overall health.Holistic perspective of health, so you're looking at all of it, if you do stick to just one thing. But you exclude this or you cut out that is that going to be best for your health.So any changes I make need to be sustainable enough that you can still do many things and still work towards a goal because when we do sacrifice on time with loved ones or maybe you're at the gym so much. You aren't seeing your loved ones, either you've got to only eat this so you feel like you can't go out to dinner, whatever it is that you might be doing if it's detrimental on your relationships and things that you enjoy that are fun, that's not optimizing your mental health.
This is something I want you to think about when you are making choices and changes.
Look at it as a whole perspective. If it is good for all of your life and health, fantastic, you should 100% do it.
