Producer, mixer and engineer Neal Pogue reflects on working on Outkast’s Grammy Award-winning album SpeakerBoxx/The Love Below, and convincing Andre 3000 that Hey Ya! should be the album’s lead single. Mixing TLC’s Waterfalls is another highlight, and he explains why he used a pseudonym for producing the song’s iconic horn part. In the studio, Pogue has been using Waves for 20 years.
