This week, we talk about ⁠#TheMansonFamily #cult led by criminal #CharlesManson that was active in #California in the late #1960s and early #1970s . The group at its peak consisted of approximately 100 followers, who lived an unconventional lifestyle, frequently using #psychoactivedrugs . Most were young women from middle-class backgrounds, many of whom were attracted by #hippieculture and #communalliving and then #radicalized by Manson's teachings. The group is confirmed to have #murdered 9 people, though they potentially killed up to 24.

Next week, we’ll talk about #TheDevilsRejects is a #2005 American #darkcomedy #horrorfilm written, produced and directed by #RobZombie , and is the second film in the #Fireflyfilmseries . The film is centered on the run of three members of the #psychopathic #antagonist family seen as #villainous #protagonists , with #SidHaig , #BillMoseley , and Zombie's wife #SheriMoonZombie reprising their roles, and #LeslieEasterbrook replacing #KarenBlack as the matriarch.⁠
