Episode description

Tune in on Friday, October 25, 2024 @ 7pm EST for the next “He Said, He Said, He Said Live!” A Look at the World from A Seasoned Black Man’s Perspective for the next episode “Election 2024: Did You Know?” with special guests Allen Orr, Jr, Esq., Orr Immigration Law Firm and Dana McGuire, Director, Healthcare Operations and Reform.

America is down to 10 days before the 2024 Election and one of the most important presidential elections in the history of our time. Our democracy is at stake! As concerns around the state of the economy and inflation continue, about eight-in-ten registered voters (81%) say the economy will be especially important to their vote in the 2024 presidential election. Following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, opinions about abortion’s importance as a voting issue shifted. Immigration and healthcare reform are two of the most talked about and less understood concerns by African Americans in the 2024 election.

To share some important insight into what African Americans should know about the impact of why immigration and healthcare are shaping future in this historic election, Alvin and Bobby welcomes Allen Orr, Esq, Orr Immigration Law Firm and Dana McGuire, Director, Healthcare Operations and Reform to provide information and answer questions about these critical topics we all need to know.

Allen Orr is the founder of the Washington, DC-based Orr Immigration Law Firm PC, a minority-owned law firm. His practice focuses on US immigration compliance for US corporations, including visa applications for immigrants and non-immigrants. Dana McGuire is a leader in Healthcare Operations and Reform. She is frequently called on as a technical consultant by operational teams for major hospital health systems. Her cross-national work explores market reforms, state policies, including regulation of mandated insurance benefits and insurance expansions.
