It was a tough week watching other teams play footy, but we are through our scheduled byes and ready to hit the back-end of the season.

Hosted by Ash and joined by Mick, Nat and Brad, we were joined by former Hawthorn CEO Michael Brown who discussed a number of topical items including:

* Why Waverley was a great home ground for the Hawks in the wake of the failed merger;

* How the club stared down the AFL and extracted a brilliant deal to move to the MCG and not Docklands once the decision was made to close Waverley;

* How the club paid $1 to Mirvac to make the move to Waverley from Glenferrie Oval as the new training and admin facility; and

* The form of his nephew Jack Gunston.

We also discussed a number of other items including this week’s three re-signings, Buddy’s full-bloom love with the Hawks and we looked ahead to Saturday against North in Tassie - no longer a ‘fill your boots’ percentage booster.
