The second to last day of the Trade Period and although no official Hawthorn deals were done, there was PLENTY of action as far as the Hawks were concerned.

A couple of late scratching’s meant that Danny hosted a rag tag bunch of Hawthorn nuffies including Brad, Simon, AJ and Nat. The boys got about discussing everything Trade Period Final Day eve:

* The first point of call was unpacking the Jack Ginnivan news and Brad dropped a bomb off the bat, claiming he’d been told that Ginnivan will be a Hawk tomorrow;

* Discussions around Brandon Ryan and his worth to the Hawks and the Lions. Would we take a future second round pick if Ryan wanted the security of the three year deal on the table from Brisbane;

* The Mabior Chol and Jacob Koschitzke deals seem destined to become one;

* Allowing Massimo D’Ambrosio to walk to the Hawks as a delisted free agent would free the Hawks up to focus on other deals;

* Jack Gunston and what he would bring to the Hawks, as well as what he would cost;
