Hello again everyone, and today we are listening to another one of Linda's supernatural experiences. So as October hastens, the weather calls, and the leaves turn gold, and as we approach Halloween, let's listen to the next installment of Linda's stories. Dear Steve, my story today is a lovely one. When I met my husband, my mom was not very keen on him and thought he was nowhere near good enough for her daughter. We court it for eighteen months, then
he asked me to marry him. Whilst my dad quickly warmed up to the idea, my mom still had some reservations. One day, however, she had a sudden change of heart. She explained that after several sleepless nights fretting about our upcoming wedding, she had a strange experience. She was walking up the stairs when suddenly she saw the spirit of my des seised Nan stood on the steps in front of her. My NaN's ghost was beaming from ear to
ear and nodding gently. My mom took this as a sign that all would be well, and from that day on we had her full support. We've been married for forty eight years this year, and my Mum, who is now ninety three and suffers from dementia, has had the most amazing relationship with my husband and has always taken great delight in telling everyone what a wonderful man he is. He too, even to this day, loves her to bits. I just thought i'd share a happy encounter with you all.
Thanks again, Linda. Now this is a heartwarming tale, Linda, and it's always nice to ponder on the more positive side of the supernatural. Now, we would love to know if any of you listeners have had a message of encouragement from a loved one. If so, please let us know and simply write Dear Steve contact us at HAUNTEDUK podcast dot com. We'll be here twice a week Mondays and Wednesdays throughout October with another frightening line of correspondence.
And you never know the next person to be plucked out of the mailbag could be you.
