My guest today is Esana illori , a Psychotherapist in training and mother of 3 boys who is passionate about supporting mothers who feels stuck after having children. I strongly believe that we don't understand what it means to truly forgive -for me I would say I forgave someone and when I saw the person all the offense would come up and I would be thinking of witty ways to insult them if they came at me again? If you've ever had issues with forgiveness...keep listening.
One of the biggest reasons I had to forgive my ex / son father was because there was a day my son walked into my room and he looked so much like my ex that my heart started beating.
How can the one person I love in the world look like one person that I hated.‼
I needed to figure it out as soon as possible ....but I spent years angry and almost used to the feeling of anger and un-forgiveness.
