Episode description

Hey Punters, in this episode we chat to the incredibly inspiring and motivating queen - Korrin Barrett.

In 2012, while still living in Australia, Korrin was rushed to hospital after mismanagement of a medical condition that led to emergency surgery and admission to the intensive care unit for undetected bowel perforation. This vivacious, fit, and healthy 33-year-old, with everything to live for, was put into an induced coma and given a 5% chance of survival! Sepsis and multiple organ failures led to an induced coma. Nine days later, when Korrin miraculously awoke from the coma, she received the devastating news that to save her life, both her legs and hands would have to be amputated. This was to be her greatest challenge yet but from the trauma, she grew more than ever and realised she was built with a resilience she never knew she had. She now shares her story worldwide and tells it with honesty, humour, and heart, inspiring everyone who hears it to not give up and to live their lives unlimited. Korrin shares what motivates her and the tools she uses to help you find a renewed appreciation for life and the drive to move forward with a positive mindset.
