Speaker 1

Hey guys. On this week's the Group Chats, we are giving you the ten commandments for the Carolina Panthers to make the playoffs. Thou shalt not be chasing nor rebuked by yellow kerchiefs. And then we are sharing with you our favorite line of the week from the locker room quote, I saw the sticks and new Ron Rivera would kill me if I didn't get there, so I had no choice. We have all of this and a lot more on

this week's the Group Chat. You've been added to the Group Chat with your friends Caroline, can Max Sensen, and Will Brian. All Right, groupies, welcome to week since. If this podcast is anything like you just pre show conversation that we had, buckle up. It's gonna be a fun one. Week ten always gets here so quickly, though, doesn't it, Guys? I feel like for me, every year weeks and then what about Week seventeen? Does that take longer? Takes a

little while. It takes a little while. Their November and December they kind of they crawled by a little. Well, you got you got the holidays, you've got Thanksgiving. There's a lot going on, and every game means so much more. There's so many more storylines and all the things. So weeked ten it's here college basketball. Also, here are you guys big college basketball fans? I will you have to be, I mean, obviously, but I'll let Max go first because he has to defend the I'm a historical record of

the Wisconsin Badgers. Yeah, I'm like a big Badger basketball fan. Will. I would say it's a bigger like entire big picture basketball college basketball fan. And everybody loves the incidably tournament. Don't get me wrong, but yeah, like I'm excited to watch my Badgers start their season. You think you're more like, yeah, and college hoops is your thing, and I gotta kind of get back into it a little bit. But I'm still I mean Davidson first, obviously, and then and then

we go from there. Is David's gonna be in a good this year, ranked second in the Ten behind VCU. Who do they open up with St. Francis? No, Auburn Richmond opens up with St. Francis stuff on my Instagram. So Bruce Pearl's Auburn Tigers. Yeah, I think it's in a tournament somewhere, Okay, very fancy, Yeah, Wisconsin as St. Mary's on the road. Who's ranked. They're pretty good, supposedly

the Gaels. You're just everything Wisconsin, right, Yeah, And that's why as we're going into Green Bay this weekend, I get a chance to watch my Badger's play Iowa Saturday. And you're going no, But I'll be like with a buddy in Green Bay at a Badger bar, eating cheese, curts and drinking spot a cow, which is about as Wisconsin as you can get. We come absolutely. How good does that? Did? Pause? Actually? I would like to do absolutely?

Do you guys want to watch the Badger game? I mean I feel like if you're out of sports Bar, there's going to be other games on as well. Sports bar in Wisconsin, you're there for one reason, interesting and one reason only. Um, this is not about basketball, but it's about football. So this is what it's called a segre. You a Jim Sorgy fan? Yeah, I mean Sworgy has a bit of a kind of there's a love hate. I don't know the whole story. I just worked with him at the Colts because he was with the Colts

and now he's back. It's a really nice pro career. It's a quarterback like he was always he just loved Wisconsin. I mean he is. And he was like Peyton's backup for a while, right, so, I mean he had like the best job in sports, right. I mean, like Peyton never came out of the game, so as his backup quarterback, he pretty much just got to like be around one of the best quarterbacks ever, never have to get hit. He's he's the only other Wisconsin like so like fan

that I know. So yeah, like Swergy and and he has he had a nice little run of Wisconsin. Wisconsin's like quarterbacks have always sort of been exactly like Jim Sorgy. It's like these guys who were like kind of limited athletically but smart and just figure out a way to get it done. Tough, smart, dependable, but it's not make it for you the fan frustrated. No, I mean I think yes at times, yes, like when Russell Wilson came there, it was like, oh my god, look what happens when

we have like a dynamic athlete playing that position. Honestly, I forgot that that happened. That was the most incredible year. I forget Wisconsin. Had jj wat not declared this is becoming a Wisconsin Badger podcast suddenly, so I apologize. Had he not declared for the NFL, they would have had j J and Russell Wilson on the same team. I mean, wow, good Luck. You forget these things people, we forget these things.

But yeah, Sergy was a lot like Scott Tolzine, who was a backup quarterbacks for a while when he was in Indian and also an Indie similar just kind of like did more with what they had than maybe people expected them to. And the NFL career that sound too bad? Do you remember in two seventeen I believe may have been Scott Tolzine was backing up Andrew Luck and we went to Green Bay and it was the Scott Tolzine Show the whole week because it was like, who's you know?

Are not? You backed him up? You know all about him? Tell us all about him. We don't have anyone like that that we can go into the Walker room now. I mean who played with him? Uh? Well, obviously Julia's Peppers Panthers employee. You know who did play? Why are we not interviewing him? Later this week on Panthers dot Com, Max Sinson has the scoop, Hey that Peppers, Uh segment is always awesome. I expect it to be super awesome this week with his boy Aaron Rodgers being the focus.

Those those eyes are tight, Julius, like Julius talking about Aaron. You could just like see in his eye the like respect and love he has for Aaron Rodgers. It is gonna that's a cool from what we've heard about the segment. It's off the three point from this week, it's really really good. So if you haven't seen those, shame on you. But this is a good week to start. But happy college basketball season, Happy week ten. So with it being week ten, we got really creative here, people, We Caroline

got really creative. You're the one with the create creativity and we just kind of like follow the instructions. Yes, somehow I come up with these off the wall segments to do, and the goof Troop here just jumps in and says, that sounds great, the troop, that's good. I like it. I saw that Good Morning football. Sorry, we'll come up with something. If you're listening, will you help us come up with the name? But what we are? We promised we won't make fun of you. Ever since

we started making fun of the comments people stopped making contexts. No, you know what it was though, We stopped asking people to leave comments. I think that's what it was. I think people enjoyed back me up here people. I think they will enjoyed us saying what was in the comments? Yeah, we just stopped asking we need some fresh com we do, yeah comments, we need help with content. You will you leave a leave a five starready and then drop us

a little line there, a little comment. We do love we look, we are those people that looks in the comments every single week. And I well, I am I don't think, don't I do? I know? I do. I didn't say I didn't, of course I do. Don't leave me out to drive Max? Is there one secure enough? And I'm off to not look in the contact Actually social media Amy who said, like, you guys looked at your reviews lately, they're really good. I was like, I haven't. I looked at him like, yeah, people like our show.

Look at us? Who look at us? Look at us? Look at us? That's so nice. Well, we are going to do a things that come in tens segment because it's week ten, So why not, I know, super creative. It's just kind of how we work around here. So the first thing that came to my mind was the Tin Commandments, because is that what usually comes to your mind. I'm just such a holy person and filled with divinity. That yes, filled with divinity. That's quite a phrase. David

Laydon just put on his headphones. I'm tapping out. I'm out of this about to happen. It's about to record this specifically for the next big meeting to show everybody this is actually we're going to take another sidetrack to do that. Here a groupies, you will enjoy this. I think there was a big meeting with all of the directors and vps of the Carolina Panthers. So are superbosses, and the clip that was shared from the group chat

was Southern Mama. That's what was chosen to be shout in front of everybody, Not all this good football talk we're talking, No, it was me. It was you. You're welcome. Yeah, yeah, producer, where have you been these last couple of weeks? Old, I've got to say, And then you show up in Southern Mama. And from the directors and vast president, I thought it was a great opportunity for you to introduce yourself to tepper better. Yes, the owner was also in

that meeting, so I have I'm embarrassed. So we'll we'll see if you guys continue to hear us over the next several weeks, and you if you if we just disappear, or if ever here, if I never come back, or if Southern Mama just never makes another appearance, you know why there was a immediate hand down from ownership, do not? Or if Southern Mama gets her own show, you know it really well, then I won't be as mad at producer Matt. But that doesn't happen. Okay, we'll get back

to football now. Though things that come into in can can can to moments. What wow, I'm flustered. The Ten Commandments decades. It's also how long Chinese food takes to get ready. Yeah, minute fingers. A lot of things ten minutes take ten minutes. So you feel like a lot of times people say give me ten minutes? How long is your be there in ten? Carol? When you when you when you text that it's ten, it's actually it's actually probably seven. I give myself a little bit because

I like to arrive earlier on time. Mine mine's like seventeen. Oh really, yeah, I don't know. I used to be pretty punctual, and I used to it it's gotten worse. I can't stand the feeling of running late. It just makes me anxious. The worst someone told me when it was actually in a book, said, you you get to choose your problems. So everyone's going to have problems, whatever it is. But as human beings, we like to choose

our problems. And on that day I decided, and my problem will never be that I'm late, never and and whatever I have to do to make sure that I am that's not my problem. So my ten minutes is seven minutes. Like the idea of walking into a meeting that's already started and having everybody like look up at you as you walk in it is like a huge So so one time I actually didn't know we were having a meeting. Walk came about three minutes into when the meeting started. I just didn't go in. Yeah you

were that afraid. I just didn't need it was you guys. I mean it wasn't that scary, but I just I didn't even go in. I just went at the office. Just want you don't want to face the music. I hear you does your ten minutes change depending on the person, because my ten minutes to like my family members is much longer than ten minutes to my fiance. Like, I don't lie. She she'll get me. She knows she's a

good point. Yeah, Or like my boss David Lincoln, I'm not going to tell him it's actually he has been slowly creeping in on these. He provided candy on Halloween. Now he's tuning us out. He shared Southern Mama, that's a great that's a good point. You name at Like back in the day in high school, if I was like watching a game and my mom needed me to do something, I'd be like, yeah, just give me ten minutes, and like that was not minutes later. That's a good point.

Ten minutes of game time. It was like an hour tenues with college basketball starting the last minute minutes of college basketball, Yeah, it's it's that can be insufferable, is to minutes. Honestly, the last minute of a college basketball ten minutes. Um, there are ten lords of leaping. Any Christmas fans out there, I think you are the biggest Christmas fan I know. I can't wait. I'm actually scaling

it back in the office. In the office, Um, I've never shared such a big office space with as many people, so I'm trying to respect other people's Christmas boundaries. However, normally in my office is up to this point, there's a tree, but I always decorate the tree to be funny. Last year my tree was the Christmas for I. I are,

you know, in football injured reserve. So the ornaments were all the big players that were on So I cut out their heads and there the ornaments, and I always try and make it, you know, so that way people are like, oh, I don't really like your enthusiasm for Christmas. Is my Christmas tree is up palpable another good word, right, we're talking about good words, Earl. It's a good one, okay. Ten commandments for the Panthers set have the season, right.

I have one more tips funny hot dogs coming a pack of tip, but the buns coming a pack of eight. I didn't have to look that one up because my household very annoyed about that growing up. It is very annoying. I'm pretty sure that was a Seinfeld bit, was it. I can definitely see that. Yeah, No, we didn't like that, okay, But what we are really doing, I think we're like twenty minutes into this thing. Here's what we're actually doing

on this podcast. We are doing the tin Commandments of Panthers Football in order for them to make the playoffs. So this is week ten. We said, this is when every game matters. And what the Panthers have done is they put themselves in a very fine line here. They're they're they're getting to the point in the season where you can't drop games. Right now, if you're even going to think about the way that the NFC is unfolding, it's still very up in the air. I don't think

you know outside of the forty niners. They're like in their own league right now. There's still a lot of questions in the NFC of who's going to make the playoffs. So we're doing the ten Commandments of Panthers Football to make the playoffs. Will lead us off with your first commandment. My first commandment, thou shalt not be chasing nor rebuked by yellow kerchiefs. That's a better than I expected. Hey, the Panthers are second in the league with fewest penalties

only forty six, second league and fewest penalty yards. We saw what it did to Tennessee eleven penalties. It's a drive killer. This This team has to stay on schedule based on the way this offense moves the ball down the field. This defense can't afford to have, you know, things after the play. They can't afford to have needless face masks. You know that have you know, uh undercut turnovers in the past, Like they can't commit penalties and they've been pretty good at it. Will you say it again?

Thou shalt not be chasing nor rebuked by yellow kerchiefs. I don't know how we talked that with Max you got next. I don't either your your ability with like you're really bringing it strong lately with this whole like new voice and like the flowery language. I really like this will on the podcast. It's because you come up with such good things the character. I have to I have to check you away. He went to an IVY league, you know, Yeah, you're showing off how smart you are

to write. I gotta check you somehow because not an actual IVY league. It's the Southern Night. Okay, my first one will be and this is maybe intended for not the Panthers, but those who watched the Panthers. Thou shalt not doubt d J. Moore and Curtis Samuel um And look, maybe Steve Smith knew all along what he was doing. Maybe Steve Smith was like, you know what, these guys got to play better. I'm gonna kind of light the fire a little bit and get him to play a

little bit better. It was Steve who came out and said on draft night that they hadn't replaced him until d J. Moore are that he was leading a little disappointed with the level of production from DJ so far. So Steve goes on the radio and says some things that got people riled up, and then what do you know, DJ More and Curtis Samuel collectively have their best day against the Titans. Those two have it, They've always had it. I think it's just kind of taken, as North said,

a little bit of time. Some other factors have come into play as to whether or not they're producing on a given Sunday. But if those two continue to play like that and making plays with yards after the catch, Curtis going up and high pointing the ball in the end zone, that is a formula for success. I love it mine, thou shall steal. I want the thieves to be thieves. This team is winning the turnover ratio plus six, and that's with the fumbles and you know, some some

misques that have happened, they're still plus six. So they have twelve interceptions, and I think my favorite part about these interceptions is they're averaging over eleven yards per interception, so they're they're taking out a first down. The offense needs to go. I love that, so Shall Stealeves average field position on that one thirty two point nine ranks third in the NFL. Ringing it all right, here we go next one, thou shalt make third downs? I love

you had the t to it. Shut shalt pretty explained, only only third down conversion twenty seven in the league. Right now, they've got to get better. Every year they've gone to the playoffs, they've been a top ten team on third down. They've got to be able to make clutch plays. We've had a lot of third and long and they converted a couple of big ones against Tennessee.

Another percentage on the season may not be great. Right in the first half, that screen to DJ for eighteen yards on a third and long, and late in the game when it was a two score game, third and twelve, he found DJ again for fourteen. I thought that was one of Kyle's bigger throws the day. So there was some good signs on Sunday. The fourth down conversion for the touchdown to Christian also, but yeah, a third moments. Definitely good signs on Sunday. But the week's leading up

to it. We're tough. The can can keep drives going. Yeah, okay, I'm up next. Thou shalt address the run defense in the second half of the season. So, yeah, the takeaways are great. I think they have kind of mitigated the issue with the run defense and the sacks that when this team is getting sacks and takeaways like they're they're

gonna be tough to beat. But if they're not getting those things and both those things tend to come and bunches a little bit, I'm a little word of like if they go into any sort of drought with that, the run defense could become an issue. This team is last in the NFL and yards allowed per attempt five point one, their last in the NFL and rushing touchdowns allowed with four teen second half the season. The weather is gonna get worse. Teams are gonna rely on the

run game a lot more. You're gonna have to see it and face it a lot. The Panthers, I don't I don't care. There's no other way to put it. They have to get better at stopping the run. And when Ron talks like he did on Monday about this team not having arrived yet, they're still learning and growing. There's still some areas that we have to fix. I know he's talking about their run defense. For NFL linebacker who made his bones in the NFL's the defensive coordinator

will not stand for this to continue. He just won't. And he knows that they have to get that fixed if they are going to be a playoff team. Bottom line, the weather is gonna get worse. I know what you're talking about. Green Bay looks like a beautiful Bomby nine degrees whatever, ha um mine, honor thy backup quarterback. I don't think this. And this is almost like one of those like don't murder people commandment. You know, this is like a like a duck because I think the team

does this. They're they're very much. You know, Kyle Allen is the guy, and whoever is back there is going to be there guy. But this is something that has to stay true. I think what's been interesting is it's it's no longer a surprise to people when Ron comes out and says Kyle Allen is starting. I think those first couple of weeks, you know, it was what's happening with Cam and so it was. I mean, one of my most famous, famous, viral, popular whatever we want to

say tweet was about Kyle Allen starting. That was a few weeks ago. I you know, we send the same tweet out yesterday on Monday's press conference. It's expected, and I think this offense has taken on the personality of Kyle Allen's style of play. It's not going to be you know, the Cam Newton. Is he going to take off running? Is he this big? You know, there's just a different personality that this offense. I think that the

locker room has you gotta honor your backup quarterback. I don't think I think Kyle he's obviously still a young quarterback, but I just don't think that this team, and I think people around the league are looking at him as that backup quarterback anymore, not knowing what's happening with Cam Newton and and all the you know, him going and seeing a specialist and what's going to happen? I think you honor that backup quarterback Kyle Love, thou shalt beat

New Orleans like baseball. They're one in four against the Saints the last two years and the only one that they one didn't really even matter. Saints are good. Saints are good, and let's let's be honest, like everyone's looking at you know, how do they sneak into the wild card, win the division? Beat New Orleans? Yeah? People are sort of I think just like penciling in losses to New Orleans and it's okay, how are we going to get in? How do we get into otherwise? How do we get

Minnesota to lose? How do we get Seattle to somehow stumble? Like? No, just beat New Orleans? Yeah, I mean tying it. Just bait New Orleans Easier said than done. Right. I mean, they're really good and they've been for a while. They've had the Panther's number for a while. But you're right, I mean at a certain point, at certain point, you just gotta beata gotta beat New Orleans. All right? Um,

my last one, thou shall be thankful for Dennis Daily. Um, this guy Okay, six round pick, six and seventh round picks sometimes don't even make the fifty three man roster, right, I mean, it's kind of a crapshoot at that point in the draft. But with no offensive you're taking to the six. Yeah, I mean, but like a c it is. You look at the history of this team. I mean, well, we were talking about the other day some of their former six and seventh rounders, and it's like they didn't

they didn't last very long. So Dennis Daily, sixth round pick at the South Carolina Greg Little, was the first left tackle this team took him the draft in the second round. He's obviously had his concussion issues, so he hasn't been able to play. Darryl Williams started a left tackle and that experiment kind of didn't go as planned, so now he's kind of rotating in at guard behind

Trey Turner. They've essentially decided that Dennis Daily is their best option to left tackle, and and it's just amazed. It amazed me how well he's played as a rookie who didn't really get many reps of left tackle at all throughout the summer, especially with the first team, and it just kind of been thrown into the fire. And I think the best thing you can say about him is that you hardly really notice he's out there. He's just doing his job, not getting flags thrown on him,

not having big plays go against him. You can point to the San Francisco game and I would give him past because that was a nightmare for everybody on that old line down three and it was just I don't care if you're Joe Thomas, You're gonna you're gonna struggle in that sort of situation. But every every other time out there, Dennis Daly has just looked like he belongs.

And again, I think this team is very thankful that a six round rookie who clearly every team passed on round and round and round over has suddenly just been a plug and play left tackle. That's that is uncommon. I like that. My final one thou shall not bear false witness against thy defensive teammates. We saw what the forty niners were able to do when this defense was confused. They were confused by misdirection. It started to wear off in them and they were just a frustrated defense. So

just don't have dirty eyes. We hear ROVERA say this, and he said it. These past couple of weeks, they got dirty eyes. We need to clean up the eyes. Well, thou shalt not bear false witness against the defensive teammates. There's nine Now we must battle for the tenth commandment. MAT's out. Yeah, we're gonna we're gonna put that. We put mad producer on the spot. I had one, but

I think our will took it. It was a little different, but I had it was I deleteed, thou shalt be the Birds of Atlanta and the Saints of New Orleans because I think you're gonna have to sweep the division um or at least win three two because the NFC is just so it's so competitive. So I think you're gonna have to win three or four of those remaining division games. I like that the Birds of Atlanta the birds, and they are birds, not falcons. They're pretty pathetic this

year that with the mic. He said it, I've gotta we'll equal that out by just admitting that we can't win in Atlanta, so the karma doesn't go against the group chat. Oh, you're trying to balance it out. I trying to balance the karma that uh mine extra We can fight about it. Keep the Sabbath day, game day, no distractions. We're gonna go. It's gonna be cold in

Green Bay. Okay, we're gonna have the you know, going down to the Saints saying we can't win in Atlanta, Like there's going to be all of these distract actions that people are going to say and reasons why game day. Just go out there. We hear the team say it all the time. You know, no distractions. Were just focused on this week. Do it. Keep the top of the day, game day. What do you have? Thou shalt call tails? Okay, this one wins. The Panthers are one in seven in

the coin toss this year. One in seven won in London. Where did we san Francisco? Was it in San Francisco that we won? Yeah, we need to lose that thing. They're calling heads every time. Uh we well a lot of times the other team is calling it and winning it. Okay, but yeah we are calling heads a lot. I want us to lose the toss. But Ron Rivera wants to score going into half and score coming out a half.

He said that multiple times. Alright, this whole Like, if you want we want to start on defense, we want to get the ball. Yeah, I guess I'm just I'm a little stitious, a little just not superstitious, just a little. It's so good. Okay, my my last one. This will segue us another seg. Thou shall celebrate the legacy of

former high school running back Colin Jones. Um. Colin, as you all know, executed the fake punt on fourth and four from Carolina's own thirty six yard line, got just enough, got five yards on what was the play of the game. I mean it completely turned the game around. And Colin Jones after the game, what Colin is typically very reserved, doesn't show a whole lot of personality. I have never seen him like he was after the game. It was incredible.

Nine years in the making, he was ready. He was the first thing he says, like usually guys are like so happy and like after making a play like that, and special teams like rarely gets a chance to touch the ball. Like he was just so deadpan. It was like in his Texas can you do the Texas accent, Texas accent of Colin saying like I've been waiting nine years on that. Well, I've been white whale, I've been white nine years for that was kind of it. That was just coach. When I went in, I told Coach

I had to go over there and make it. So I walk over and shake his hand. Side. Thanks, it was. And I'm sure at this point you've seen the video that at Panthers put out where he says, Uh had to call back to his high school days where had over three thousand yards all purpose or whatever. He was just incredible. So he So Colin Jones, will we have a new segment this week? Yeah, we do have a segment. Introduce it. It's gonna be new every week. What's it called.

It's the line of the day, One of the day or line of the week. Say line of the week. Just see which one we like better. Line of the week, line of the week, What of the week? Let us know in the comments, people, what do we like? Line of the day, a line of the week. So okay, so we have a couple from Colin. Here's one line quote I saw the sticks and new Ron Rivera would kill me if I didn't get there, so I had no choice. Again, pretty good stuff from comin. Here was

my favorite though, Uh let's get down to it. Here we go. Quote, give me the Rock. I looked up on the board and saw Jones one for five right under Christian. I had to make sure I had a better rushing average on the day than Derrick Henry. Derrick Henry had four point eight yards for Carrie, Colin Jones had five. Amazing. Colin Jones, guys, he is This is not Dante Jackson, it's not Trey Boston. But he he is right by him. He is right by the He's he's the um. What did Tray say that? Tray said

he was the landlord of thieves. I loved it. I asked him too. I was like, you're, you know, a captain, You've always been there. But it's special teams. It's it's all been about what you're doing. Like, this is not a normal special teams moment, So what does this feel like? He he was just relishing. He could not And the best part is multiple you know, he wasn't still that premier guy in the locker room that like gets the

big crowd around him. It was just a steady stream of memverse coming over every single one he was talking to him. Yeah, he was just like staying there. Arms was like waiting. He was like, all right, who wants to ask you some questions about my Everybody needs to come over and talk to me. It was great. I remember three thousand yards all purpose my senior high school. You know, twenty touchdowns, Texas all State, close us out. The segment needs an end. Well, that was your lee

of the week. You like it because that's going to be a mainstay. Maybe post production you can make that pretty, make that cool, make that really pretty, make that have some like can all natural from from Will? They're just there with This podcast is all for you out there the group piece of letsna which one you like better. Let's finish with just not complaining more just setting the scene for what you have in Green Bay. I'm not

going to complain. I like cold weather, but this is cold weather is an interesting thing because if you if you sweat early, your host the rest of the day. So if you put on to two mini layers, then start sweating, your feka cold and I I'm good. My nose gets red and but if if my toes get cold, I'm out. This is really just a thing for you, Like I'm sitting in the press box, Will in the same book, like you're the one who had North Carolina. You have to brave the elements and say this all

about me. This is all about me. Like what happens we forgot with what you are tasked with doing on game day? What happens when like your face gets so cold that you can't really enunciate. You're kind of like like, that's got to be a challenge. It is, do you like hit your face to like keep it? You know?

Do you do you like exercises? I do? Actually that So a couple of years ago when I was with the Colts, everyone remembers this game, the Snow Game in Buffalo, and it wasn't that cold, but it was just cold enough where you were starting to like you had to move your mouth like you know, for moving. So throughout the radio broadcast, d L and I'm making another appearance here, David Lanthon and I are in constant communication. We just have like a conversation throughout the entire game. I just

might talk to him a little bit more. David. I'm not really saying anything. I just need to move my lips because they're going to get frozen. It's twenty three degrees so like right now a kick off, it will be twenty three degrees in Green Bay and the wind chill. Yeah, but the real feel is like nine, Yeah, it's gonna be cold, but and it's later now I like Eastern times. That just feels like remember reminder to viewers. I mean, look, and this is only week ten. Like imagine if this

was like week fifteen. It's snowed there the other day. It is calling for snow on game day, but less than an inche Honestly, that would be pretty cool though, Like to play in a game in Lambo's field when it's cold and snowing is kind of That's that's when you're gonna remember. For some of our listeners. Harkening back to the nineteen NFC Championship game, Yeah, Panthers Packards, I think it was like negative ten, negative fifteen, winchell. Yeah.

I will be vlogging this weekend though, so there should be some good content. But I think the reason it's going to be good is because Lambau is just so cool it. I mean, you're walking down the the hall, have you guys been I have, yes. The tunnel that the team walks out of is very narrow. It's not then like normally is narrow. What do you want me to do? You know what I'm talking about. I'm stuck around me back up, what do you want me to do?

But it's very cool just history. I mean that the team is walking where leather helmets, you know, we're being worn, and it's it is a really really cool stadium. Logistically a nightmare for us working the game because is when the stadium was built, there was no you know, thought about the media having to get around or people trying to get from this place. It was just walk in, go to your seats, and walk out. And so it is very funny. I'll hopefully capture that on the vlog

for you guys trying to get around. They use golf carts. Now, if you're like the owner, um or someone's super important, they will golf cart you from the press box or from your box to where you need to go. Because it is that's trying to go through the tunnels down there too. It is Max is not following me to the press box because I lost in Houston, where I've been multiple times. Do you guys know some of the lesser known bays, Yes, Sturgeon Bay, Sister Bay, Ellison Bay, Harba.

These are all around the Green Bay. Surgeon Bay I've heard it heard Surgeon Bay. There's Egg Harbor f from Bay Fish Creek. Wow, this is why your panther stack guy, because you sat there and thought, I wonder what other what other bays or near the Green Bay? No, it's the Green Bay. Green could be with algae. Is there a lot of algae in the Green Bay? Why is it called Green Bay? Anyone out there? Let's good question. We could google it. But I like asking you guys.

Let us know. We let you know a lot of things on this podcast, So let us know why Packers were green. They think they named the bay to which came first, the chicken or the egg. Packers have been there forever, right, Packers obviously came before the bay. But it's not Yellow Bay. It could have been yellow could have been here. Here's here. I have one that squea for you guys. Do you think this team can be Green Bay? Yes? Yeah, yeah, Sorry, I was agreeing with well,

I was shaking my head, but I forgot. You have to say it. I'm very interested. The Packers are coming off a game which just scored eleven points and loss of the Chargers. I think that's really there is a bit of hesitation but it's only because it's Aaron Rodgers and he's coming off a loss and not one. I mean, this is like, it's like, how often is Aaron Rogers going to have a subpar week? Like two games right now?

That seems unlike. And it's at home. Although when I was there and I'm want to know at Lambeau so welcome. It was a very it was a very exciting game where it was one of those where it's like, I don't know we're going up against yeah, but yeah, I think anytime you go into playing Green Bay, it's like, well, all right, going up against the best of the best. But maybe it takes something away from what the Chargers did last week. And obviously the Panthers look run the ball,

run the ball. Panthers have one five or less six. I mean, we'll see, this's gonna be a tough one ball. That's the other thing I did. I did harp on Carolina's run defense. Packers run defense also not very good right now. So Christian McCaffrey, make sure he's in your fantasy football lineups, as if he wouldn't be already. My hands were cold this weekend here. I didn't have gloves on granted, but it was like, I mean, it was

sixty degrees. But the people, the people in Green Bay, if they heard you say that a sixty degree day, Sonny here in Charlotte, make fun of me, make fun of me. I don't care. Those folks who go like shirtless, they're gonna be like, okay, but are we really going to compare their just where with all and and common sense up against mine of their shirtless and nine degrees like the like around here when everyone freaks out because it's a little cold versus like I think people who

live in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I think I've told the story on here of my first snow. Yeah, that's I mean, that's a classic. I'm on. That's on brand for me to have cold hands in sixty degree I love cold weather, though, you just have to be prepared for it. So I'm prepared. We have the big jacket, old boggins or beanies, whatever you want to call it, gloves, so we're good. It'll be real field nine. I hope that doesn't change and

get any colder because we're recording this on Tuesday. Let us know if you have any more commandments for your Caroline of Panthers who make the playoffs, or if you have any other comments. We want the comments back, but just nice and give us five stars. We're deleting the bad comments, or we'll make part of you. Okay, we'll see you next week. Now
