Happiness Solved with Sandee Sgarlata. In this episode, Sandee interviews Cindy Kolbe. Cindy has been a lifelong disability advocate, even before her 14-year-old daughter's spinal cord injury. Cindy directed a nonprofit and managed group homes. The second edition of Cindy's memoir launched in December of 2022, titled, "Just Keep Swimming: a crash, a quest, and waves of hope." Cindy struggled with depression as she shared extraordinary adventures with her daughter—from a small town in Ohio to Harvard and around the world. Cindy now lives near Boston.
