We are so lucky to have Valerie Harvey on the pod this week. She is an extremely talented MUA who expanded her work to the DEI field in 2020 to help people navigate their growing awareness of racism, sexism, homophobia, and all of the -isms that keep us from seeing each another as fellow human beings. In this episode, she shares her personal experience as well as wisdom about the motivating factors that uphold these -isms, and ways we can use disagreements as an opportunity to call people in rather than call them out.
