Episode description

On this episode of Hanging with Apes the guys remember September 11, 2001 by analyzing how that day changed many aspects of the American culture. Rx Phonics and K. Cartoon then discuss how UC Berkeley has prepared to gear up for Ben Shapiro's visit to the university campus to speak. The university has offered to provide support and counseling services for students, staff and faculty, stating: "We are deeply concerned about the impact some speakers may have on individuals' sense of safety and belonging. No one should be made to feel threatened or harassed simply because of who they are or for what they believe." There will be an increased and highly visible police presence to avoid violent protests from erupting. Finally, the guys end the show by talking about the start of the NFL season.
