What's up? Does his Nate new forget shout forget Kurt, forget Jesse. I'm the one doing all the talk and we're going straight to

the phone. But do you have Kurt? I mean, what did you have? Chris? Let's keep going. But now I ain't doing no touch from getting touch. I'm talking about what nyin't gonna do today. You know that's not like yesterday. But y'all go ahead on, go ahead, on with y'all. Man, I'm glad somebody's bron pump pump man move We look at him. Man, I ain't wellam talking about it? Man, Brandon Graham ain't playing this week, right, Man, ain't on that yet? Nate us tomorrow there yet call us eight

eight eight eight five five two. You're looking we moved on. You don't have you, Kurt, have you moved on? Toastito's championship applies outside? So you're hanging on seventy nine degree it feels like eighty five low. Tonight is going to be a brisk fifty four degrees and now welcome to the show. Jesse Holly, Kurt Daniels, Nate Knew, Shannon grows sco I'm not hanging on Nate tell phone calls. No, I'm not. We have instructure. Okay, Monday we review the game. Okay, Tuesday,

we take calls. The fans review Wednesday. We know they don't have to review. They could call and say, hey, Jesse, what's your favorite sandwich? Kurt? Why is your hair getting so long? Yeah? I gotta get cut like they could do that. It doesn't have to review the game. They just typically go. Then. Don't think I ain't letting this slide. Jesse Holly wearing a shirt of himself today. Did y'all notice that? No, Jesse Holly is wearing a shirt. This is not all brand that has himself. It's not all

brand for me. I love the show, I mean I love the shirt is right on what does say? It's Tony Romo talking to a young Jesse Holly telling him. What is he telling you right there? I have no idea. I didn't listen at all. Run down the field, don't get called, don't get caught. It's a beautiful shirt. The design, it's just a little egotistical, but I like it. It is one brand. I love it. I'm gonna be me all.

I don't understand it. You know what. This dude went from structure to wait then and then Wednesday we do office defense. Thursday we do office defensive. Friday we take calls eight eight eight eight five two nine. Jesse, do you think I know your answer? But I may I may disagree with you, Like if you made it like big time as a player, like if you were a number one somewhere, would you've had ego problems you think you'd let it get to you or would you still

be the same. No, because you guys like you guys, you're you're like the most arrogant humble person. I know that's what I'm saying, like American humble person like you guys know, I'm super low key, I'm super humble, like like I'm I'm I'm not I'm not that dude like I am one hundred percent confident in myself. Yo. Yeah, make no mistake about that. And there's a very thin line between being confident and cocky, right, and I flirt with it. You are on both sides, flirt with it daily.

But you know what I'm saying, They I flirt with the daily. But no, No, if I was like I would be I mean, I would be super cool man, you'd be the same guy. Yeah, Nay. Were you confident when you playing? When you came up? No? No, what are you doing? What is this? I'm just trying to see before we start taking coach from the fans? Wait on, Chris Man, Hey, Chris, do we have any what? You give him the phone number, but can't he can't even get a call on the air for he just texting

me that. But let me actually question the phone lines are lit right now. Let me just say, if you were Rich Dalrymple in that position, would you act like Rich Dalry? No, I'm playing Rich, I'm playing. You know you're my guy, please you you know, but you know if you were in that, you know, you know, I think that's a drop I need right there? Would you that one? Rich? Fixed? You know? I think I would

like to say. I think everybody would like to say I would be me, but we you when things change, because when you have people coming at you twenty four seven and they're twenty years old or a million dollars, yeah, like you like I think one percent know if it was now, I would be the same person. Wouldn't matter if I won the lottery, if I was uber famous for something like, I would be the same person. But you asked me that fifteen twenty years ago. I would

like to think I'd be the same person. But I know I've changed a little bit since I moved to Dallas. Like you know, you have to adapt to the situation you're in. I don't. I wouldn't be a jerk like I wouldn't be. We're waiting on Chris. They stop. I got a call already, waiting on y'alla on the sounder. Okay, well who got we got? We got our guy, Anthony, Anthony, what's up? What's up? Guys? This is not a ninety seconds to do some cowboy commentary. How y'all doing, my dude?

That cowboys went the so Far Stadium without the Marcus Lawrence, without Randy Gregory Man, without never Galla Moore, without Donovan Wilson, without Michael Galla, without liout calling, and they did what happened they told you last week they needed to do. They ran the damn ball with Zek and Tony poll Dak only threw the ball twenty seven times, not getting Anthony tell you? Didn't Anthony tell you that? Sorry, field goal kicker earned his money finally, and the Cowboys gotta win.

They gotta win. So I'm gonna call you next week. Good jail, no man out man, Thanks for calling. That's a great thought. It was a trah that maybe my dude. That's that's it, man, that's it. That's as quick as he's ever gotten off the phone. He was in and out. Yeah he yeah, I think you wrote that down. Make sure next time we asked, did he write that Anthony is the Jesse Holly of callers? How about my dude from up he like he likes to tell us how

right he is every week. If you listen to me last week, this is what I told you, this is what happened. Gee's no, I know the guy with the brother in law who try to hook him up out here in the Yeah yeah yeah oge. But yeah, but you know why I want to tell you every time that I'm right. Why because when I'm wrong, everybody I'm wrong, but people let me know by the like by the thousands.

It's a double as sword. They let you know because you let them know when you're right, So you can't stop right because I mean, that's what's fun, that's what makes that's why I need to make seventeen million dollars like Tony Romo does. Why what what do you mean? Why? Why would you you put yourself on the level of Tony Romo. I'm just saying he can guess and be wrong, and guess and be right. So let me guess and right. Seventeen million. Who we got Chris, we got Reginald and

Conway Arkansas, Reggie, You and he can voice. It is a long time, A long time has been a while. I'm back. What's going on? What you got for I have? I want to talk about your boy, Jim Fossil Special teams, This special team savannt Uh. It seems to be uh taking the game into his own hands. I just don't like the decisions that he's making. It seems to me that he's not really taken into account the game situation.

It just seems like he should have kind of doing his own thing, and uh, it really seems like he's being more reckless than aggressive. What do you guys think? Good? Yeah, you don't remember Reginald is the first time I've ever heard him called. Now he's called before, he's called Yeah, great call Ray. Good to hear your voice, man, Yeah, he used to call all the time you've been on the show. When he's called, No, I don't that voice made you touched my side? Like, you know what I'm saying.

I remember somebody touched my inside. You know what I'm saying. That voice did it to me? What do y'all think? What do you think about? It? Was funny? What was this reason for doing it? Was cowboys fans aren't gonna play it safe types or something. So he was giving them what they want, doing it for the fans, for the fans. This is when you have no consequences like he plays like he has like who's gonna say something

to me? And he played like we go back to last year when he was doing some things where you did a fake punt and you're on your own twenty nine yard it's just like there's no consequences for him. He does what he wants, when he wants, how he wants, and this is the first time I've ever seen anybody before in my life, like because anything like that in those critical moments normal you gotta kind of get this

thing okayed by the head coach. Right you're going a headset and say, hey, man, we're thinking about going for a pump block right here, what do you think And the head coach kind of goes, nah, not right here, kick it, you know, or just hey, play safe for hey no, no, no, no no fake right now. But this guy just seems like he just flied by the seat of his pants and does what he wants, when he wants,

how he wants, whatever he wants. Surely he's letting McCarthy know right If he is, then it's making look making him look bad because a lot of times you're here, coach, say right here, I felt this the game was going. They never give us an explanation. Up right here, I saw this and whoa they sat up. We worked on this all week. You you would hear something, you know,

and uh, we never hear why. And you talk about a level of arrogance like even his response like I get it, but you can really only can do that when you like been on top of your game. Now you can give an arroget response, or you can kind of give a snarky response when you've been successful a lot, like if Bill Belichick does that, or Tom Brady says that, or someone of that you know that caliber says that. You go, Okay, we get the joke, we understand it,

but dude, you can't. You can't come off as being snarky and being a little bit condescending when you've been bad at what you do, like you you your kicker cost is the game last week? Yeah week two weeks ago.

Yeah he wanted on Sunday, But we can go back to what things would happened to last year, like you haven't been good overall as a coach, and when you come off like that, like it kind of almost gives the indication of again, I do what I want, say what I want however, I want, when I want where I want, And as the young people say, who gonna check me? Boot? Nobody gonna check him? Well. Jerry said on the fan this morning that when he said bad plays in the kicking game are like turnovers, so maybe

they act like maybe it's been going on year. It's been going on, you know, starting two years now. It's like you gotta side, you can't. We look at we look at the defense. They're young, they're inexperienced as a whole. We look at the offense. You know they're missing a player, but they study trying to make things happen. And all of a sudden, you got two of the three phases rolling that. All of a sudden you get somebody in

the special teams one player. Just turn your whole game around with something you just played by the numbers, say hey, you know what, let's plunt here. Oh hey, let's let's cover here. Getting to give them minim minimum yards in return and we set But you want to do something special, like like you're gonna you know, like just say you're trying to decide the game. We don't need you to decide the game. Don't hurt us, expecially on the road, with momentums so hard the game and and and that's

I'm with you. I'm like, what is it? What's going on here? Will owned the road? You're not home. When you're home, you come from where you feel good. You can snatch momentum any time because of the crowd. But on the road Nade, they don't do that. Do the players like the aggressiveness or they're kind of sitting back on what the hecks going on? After it's over, they'd be like wow, right, because you always want to like a players always. John Harball looked at Lamar Jackson said, hey,

you want to go for it? It wasn't a chance in hell, Lamar Jackson, Right, He's not no players ever gonna say that. Yeah, when the coach says, hey, we're a little pump block here, I'm like, yeah, because I might get the block. So guys are always going to go for the aggressive move. But again, it's your job as a coach, like it is as a parent, Like your kid wants to go one hundred miles and hold on a sun like speed limited sixty. You're not gonna

kill all of us out here. So sometimes as a coach you gotta be the parent of that thing and say, I know you guys want to go for the pump block, but how about we go you know. And on top of that, right here the naval call, you say, man, your kid was running fifteen miles an hour through through the neighborhood. Now you don't already warned you, and so now you get a call from the neighbor. So for

the next month you don't have a ride. But us we just Hey, let's do fall plump, let's go fall block, Let's don't cover right, Let's let's do a fake punt m All right, let's take our first break. DCC Making the Team, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the Team is back for another exciting, exciting season and don't miss new episodes every Friday, nine eight Central on CMT. There we go. I know a young girl back in the day, way back in the day, way way back in the day to how

to pay white boots. Let me just tell you, huge DC fan, DCC fan, Oh yeah, yeah, I'm a huge DCC fan. I don't even know what you just said, but he went so well with it, and we probably don't know that. I don't know. He went Yeah, Memory Lane, you got that one dog what it meant. Let's talk off air about that, because I kind of dedication and commitment of what it takes to become a DCC. I just related with it. You know what I'm saying that that that man, that battle to go through. You know

how big people come out from it's ridiculous. It's crazy. And their training campus for those white bombs. Yep, big fan, big fan, big fan of the white boots. Chriss. Who we got? We got Tim. He's on the phone from Lexa in Texas. I didn't even know that it was a place. Hey, guys, how are y'all? Thanks for letting me on today. Where's Lexington, Texas. We're right in the middle of Austin in College Station. If you put a dot route between those two towns, that's where we're at.

We're a little bit small place, but we love our high school football years. If you're between Austin and College Station, you must like the party. Well I did in my younger days. Eat and watch football fair enough, US two, US two? What's going on? Man? What's on your mind? A quick thing? It was nice. It was nice watching the game where we you know where we kind of

like to coin Nate's term muddy. It was nice to actually win one of those games finally and not be on the losing end, which is where it's been in the past. But one of the things I keep hearing coming out of it is I feel like the casual fan keeps talking about, you know, uh, Pollard, Pollard, you know Pollards, that dynamic one Pollard this. I kind of look at that and say, yes, he's in his current role.

Yes he's dynamic as the change of pace. You know, he's not the lead, the featured guy, the guy that's getting studied and game planned as against as much. And I can't help but think back, and I want your guy's opinions on this, back to when Marian was the

compliment to Julius. You know, I felt like Marion at his height, was the most dynamic when he came in and just coming Rock did his saying, played physical, and then while Julius was there sharing the load, I felt like after Julius moved on and we went to maryon, he was still a great back force, but I never felt like he had, you know, never felt quite the same. So and I fear that that's what a lot of the casual fan is missing when it comes to Pollard and Zeke, and I would really love to hear the

guy's opinions on that and how they see that. Great question. By the way, Superman, by the way, the callers are finally they're being nice, they're playing by the rules. They're not getting Christ the structure. You guys are doing it right. You're getting in, You're asking the question. You're getting now. Chris isn't having to be a jerk and hang up on anybody, so good jerk for some of you asked them to do this. Wow, what do you think about

Tim's question? I love Tim's question. I think Tim is uh, he's a running back group off. I don't I want him to look at not Julius Jones and Mary and BARBERA look at Felix Jones and Mary and Barbara. That is the kind of comparison that that I would look at. And I just so happened to be here for that. Julius Jones, Felix Jones, I mean Felix Jones marrying Barber

combination and maryon was your between the tackles. You're gritty, you're you know, you're mucky or muddy, hard nose yards you pound the defense, and then you had this lightning cat, quick guy like Felix Zones. And then it came to a point where someone in the front office thought that, you know what, hey, let's just make Felix Jones out every down back and we let they let go of Marian Barber. They bulked up Felix Jones and it didn't work out. It crushed, It crushed Felix. Yeah. When when

I first saw that, I say, why did he gain all? Why? That's don't get but anyway, go ahead, We're on a different pace. Go ahead, No, and so wow. And if you look at where the NFL is going now, almost every team in the NFL has gone to that two running back system. And what it does is it gives defenses a headache because you have to worry. You have to worry about okay, you know, oh, man, I gotta tackle number twenty one again godly And then at the twenty one you tied the tackling him. Then you know

you're a little bit tender. And then it comes to speed and it gets up on you so quick that you ain't ready to react to it, and it throws you off a little bit because you're having to kind of switch your molds back and forth, back and fourth of how I got to handle this, and they give you different looks. So this is a great dynamic, and

this is a balanced dynamic. And with the extra game in the season, I think this is something that they can use to their advantage because if we're being honest, Zeke is the better overall running back overall with everything that he does, the gritty yards, the blocking, he's a pass catcher, the he could do it all. Tony Pollard gives us the juice that we don't quite get anymore with Zeke. You can see it. It's visible. When Tony Poller gets the ball, it's more of a boom. He's

gone now, you know. Zeke is more of a methodical, try to find it, put his show down and get the tough yards. When Tony Pollard has to go to a place where he has to be in every down back, he just ain't built for that. He ain't built to carry the ball twenty five times a game, to pick up pass blocking, to do all that kind of craze that Zeke does. The only problem is in this combination,

you pay Zee so much money. Yeah, and now when you got that fifteen million dollar tag on the running back opposed to it being six seven or eight, and now you feel more comfortable sharing that load. Fifteen million dollars is a tough thing to say, Hey, hey, we aren't going to give you the ball eighteen. But if you win the football game doesn't matter at the end of the day. I know it's hard to talk about on paper, right, No, but that is the key, and

that's the key. That's the first thing I thought about after the game was is this a shift in philosophy for the I thought the exact same thing, because most teams have this two headed monster attack. Is this a shift in philosophy? And we know how coach McCarthy feels about having a healthy team going into the long you know, the long haul. Are they did this prove that this works? And now all of a sudden, it's like you're gonna start seeing equal carries. Now, yeah, Zeke's gonna be workhorse

and when you need the tough yards. But I mean, are we going to start seeing more of this balanced attack? You look at Sandy Ago they had Eckler and the number twenty two. You look at Washington they have m kiss Seeking, they have every team has it, Like Jesse said, the only difference is the money, the money for Zeke. And because I'm sitting there looking like, oh man, oh, they even gave it to a CD lamb at the backfield. Where's Zeke. Nah? Let's let this play out, you know.

And the fans y'all, y'all have at it. But the people that know better, like this guy that called in and no better, Let's let this play out. Let's let's let it see at the end. Let's see. Zeke may be like fine wine. Over time, he'll prove himself and you bought like a good candle motor. Or he's slick, he's swift, and he can do what he need to do. So let's just let this play out. You know, I gotta tell people I had Zeke at fifteen hundred yards.

But more importantly, I need the Cowboys to win. I don't need to worry about whether Zeke getting getting his touches, because if his touches don't prove to be wins, it does me no good as a fan. You want to win. I don't do fantasy and I guess this is why I get lost. I don't do fantasy football. I do winning. So when you do winning, no, I'm serious. You win in fantasy football too because you picked your players. But I do team winning. I'm a Dallas Cowboy fan. My

second team is a Raiders, So I do winning. I don't do uh who gets the most carriage. The only consistence I need is from my quarterbacks. I don't need for that to change. I need for that to stay the same. So it was about an eighty twenty split on snaps the first game, it was like seventy thirty snaps the second game. Do you does Paula need more snaps? It should have been sixty forty or the game would

tell you the game Paula got hot. So what do you do if you got a running back to Zeke of his stature and his money and he he's sitting over that down with it. You don't mess it up. You don't mess up. Now, what does Zeke comingto doll of? Hey, j I need my Oh Stephen, I okay, you still don't change it, you know he doesn't. Zeke see what people trying to do in the media, which is their job, is to force a confrontation. Zeke ain't allowing it. So as long as Zeke, don't allow it. This thing is

gonna roll and it's gonna be positive. So where it sits. The thing that we can't have with with Tony poll is when you go back and look at his usage, Right, he played I think eighteen total snaps. He got the ball sixteen times. Yes, I can't have Tony poll playing eighteen twenty something snaps and he gets the ball two times, right, because then we're saying, well, what the hell he's doing out here? If you're going to play him, play him,

use him, use him. Yeah right, I'm not saying he had to get the ball every single time, but when you put him in the situation, if you're going to take your fifteen million dollars running back off the field, then I can't consistently have empty yards from a guy because now I'm getting empty yards from Zeke because he's on the sideline. And then when I put Tony Pollard in the game, I'm getting empty yards from him too.

If you're gonna play him twenty twenty five snaps, then he needs to see the ball when he's in the game. You see what I'm saying. So, like the usage of Tony pollit is if you're going to play him, use him, don't play him Justifer for playing sake. You know what I'm saying, Like, go ahead and use him in situations where you match him up and gets a linebacker. And there comes a point in time, and maybe it comes out this week when you can use Zeke and Tony

Polo at the same time. You want to find some more you know, Michael Gallop being out, you want to find some more supposed to plays. Then now you put them both in the back for at the same time you put one guy in motion. And now you're saying, Okay, that tells me man or zone or what I want to go. And now I'm able to pick this thing up. If the box says run, that's what I got back here, I got twenty one. The box says passed, what is my matchup? Did a linebacker run out here on Tony Pollard? Cool?

Now I know I can go to that pass play because I like Tony Pollit in space against a linebacker or okay, linebackers out there that that that space is avoid it. I can go tight end, I can go see the lamb. So when you put these guys in the game together, or even when you put them in the game separately, use them in a manner in what you're going to come out with a positive result. Don't just have him out there to have him out there, have him out there to use them to their strength.

Let me let me ask a dumb question, if you know, if it's dumb. While you gonna ask you, let's just go like the phone question when we got thirty people to get to KURTI get their opinion is, don't start with it's a dumb question because we don't need that. Just ask the damn question and let's move on. We got everything that comes out of your mouth is dumb.

I'm talking about Yeah, take so smart question. If Pollard's in the game for twenty snaps and he's getting the ball sixteen times, does that make you predictable in anyway because of defense knows here comes Pollard. There's a eighty percent chance he's getting the ball. No, no, no, because the matchups they they they wait. Kell. My thing has gotten smart is he sees matchups. He dictate. Now matchups. Okay,

if we get this, look, we get this. You know, if we put this guy and we get this, look, we got these two guys and we possibly get this look he's dictating now the looks he get, and it's showing up. And that's that's all it is. It showed up. It's gonna be a game or two where he the matchups don't work, and then that's gonna come down the deck making sure the matchups get done, you know. And so as much as we love Gallup, especially myself, as much as I love this guy, we have too many

explosive players. It's the only guy that I would be nervous about that don't play. It's Cooper because Cooper can set pace. You know, everybody else they are who they are, who's not exploded, even Wilson who's not exploded, because they got the right matchups. It's all about the matchups. All right. Let's take one more call before we go to break. Chris. Who we got on the phone. We got Bruce from Illinois. Bruce from Illinois. What's up? Bruce? Hey, what's going on? Shannon?

Kurt Nate, what's going on? Um? Channon? I told you the big mister Brown is gonna be a problem for us down the road. Anthony Brown, I know you ain't gonna gonna stick with him, but a little bit. I'm gonna stick the side him a little bit longer, a little bit longer. Yeah, I don't know why we can't throw a rookie and now and let him get done so you know, get that experience that he he's been getting for six years. Now. Well, well the things, sir,

you can stay on the phone. But the thing is Anthony may get beat, but he's gonna be least close to where he's supposed to be. The other guys they gotta is a little bit deeper than that. Assignments and alignments mean a lot too. And yeah, Anthony's still getting getting It took to him a little bit, but he's still right now, better charge because I don't think coach Quinn and his staff have a problem if a young guy knows what to do, I don't think they have

a problem. They're not like the last few staffs we've had. They ain't got a problem with putting the young guy in and giving you thousands of looks on defense. It'll be interesting with Kelvin Joseph's healthy again. Yeah, well we'll see, we'll see, we'll see. My last question is uh is Mary gonna be healthy enough to play this weekend? And thankful like you guys, y'all have a nice of the week. Thank you, Bruce. That's a great call. Nice polite way

to go, Bruce calling me. I'm still sticking by Anthony Brown for a little bit long. Give me beside him, Anthony, I'm I'm hanging in there, man, you my guy. But but let's go, let's go, let's pick it up a little bit. Let's go. All right, Kirk all your chips on Anthony Brown, they're not at all. See what I did there? Chip on this pack on the shoulder there right, Yeah, How did you trust a man with a tattoo chip like a a chip of a tattoo of a chip. I don't know. I can't trust a man that does that.

I can't trust a man that put a chip on his shoulder like a legit ship, ruffle, ruffles, a rustle? What is it? Rough? Ruffle? Ruffle? Who know? What do you eat? Ruffles? If you ever like talk about you say words out loud and when you say him, it's like ship. By the way, what did you ever say words out loud? And then you like, is that the right word? Like? Is that how you pronounce the word just like out of the blues. Sometimes I'm just like, is that the way you say say spelling things? Sometimes?

I mean it could be because I'm from Louisiana. Words are hard. Nothing. When you said ruffle, I said ruffle out loud. I was like, that's like is that? How is that the word? Like? Is that? You ever have words like that just come out and you're hearing me talk, don't you? I wonder that all the time. I didn't know if it was just me or like when you say I'm an extra dumb question, that's a totally different thing. That's a different thing. I'm guilty of that too, Kurt.

That's why that's why I made fun of you. So how what is the report on uh Amari bruised ribs? Rather saying yeah, coach said he would call it bruised ribs. So we'll see. It's gonna be interesting thinking one if he can go and too, if you how he's he does, its gonna be a hit. Because we we watched on the replay in the stadium and then we had video of it. We went back and forth. Did he get it looked like his arm got hit. I didn't see his That's that's how you get crushed. In the game.

I think he got hurt. Wasn't on that play. The play just kind of aggravated it. Brother, That thing y'all been talking about the last few days body shots. When you get hit like that repeatedly, repeatedly all of a sudden, when the game over with and you kind of hits

the game, whereas one you're like, whoa man, that do? Yeah, that's starting to hurt because even in the end zone, a lot of people think that that guy hit the other guys more than it wanted to hit Themari, but Maari arm was trapped right up against his ribs and I don't know if that's the same side, but I'm telling you to get hit repeatedly the way they was doing a Mari, it may didn't look like much. And

receivers don't wear that don't wear rid pads protection. In today's game, speaking of pass, did y'all notice a couple of the guys. Chris pointed this out to me, and like a couple of the guys now have the dive pads, but they have their number on the left leg and like the star on the right leg. That's actually really really freaking that happened, Like that started like it. Maybe a year or so ago, companies started making like personalized.

Everything now is personalized your brand, it's your brand, right, and so they started making personalized things to put in because in college they made it mandatory. In the league, they made it manatory at least have I pads on. So you know, remember, for a long period of time, guys didn't wear pads at all. Yeah when I when I was, when I was playing out too long ago, nobody wore passing their pants. You you know, you might have had some little beep, but nobody were passing their plans.

And it's so stupid how small some of these pads are, Like they're literally some of them are not much bigger than that bottle cap. Like it's like, yeah, got pads on the site. Yeah, but the company started making those to have that personalize because everybody wears you know, you might be like a real life thirty two, thirty four, thirty six geans, but your game pants decide twenty eight like because you want them super duper tight. So that that now shows due football players wear cups, no, so

you just junk just out there. Yeah, game, when you when you go from being when you go from having a wee wee to actually having like a real unit. We have a real unit that stuff is uncoming. Yeah yeah, you developed. Yeah, but I would think especially as alignment with all it grabbing and punching. Man, it's so common. How often do you get hitting the dingf Honestly as a receiver, it's never on purpose. It's like something like

you might be running somebody. Yeah it's hope this is the cow by today Like yeah, yeah, but I have some my stomach hanging over me, so it protect close my mind. Were there were there times where like would you go like, why does this couple you sound excited? We talk talking about the area, you all of a sudden got energy. Let's take out talking about you got excited? Man? You okay? How you football? All right? Are you organized? Now? Now? You structured? Over like I'm a I'm a I'm a

I'm a skinny guy. I was just wondering, like when you pushing three fifty four hundred pounds, like, ain't what's I got hit once or twice like that, But what's what's the what's the view from the top down? Look like can you can you see yourself? I'm good with that. Yeah, you have to pull stuff out of the way to get no time. I'm good with that. Let's come. I've been around some some stumps. He didn't look at Jesse again. He looked at Nate down. He won't make eye contact with Jesse. He know better.

We'll see well, he knew he could spot me in the forty thirty nine yards. All right, let's let's move home from the last segment. That was a that was a good for good for a laugh to a caller. Right, we are going to take a call. We got time for one, maybe two, maybe three more depends out pastor who we got, Chris got, Josh and Maryland Josh, what's up, Josh, Let's go, let's go. Hey, what's gonna tell y'all feelings? I can't complain, can't complain real quick, y'all already spent

enough time when I'm running back. That was my first question. Uh, second statement, more so is Michael Parson? That boy a different kind of dogs. We got back there and he gonna he doing some serious work for us. But Nate, I know you're not gonna like this because it's a fantasy thing. But can y'all imagine if we took that a Saltee Samuel's kid instead of this Calvin Joseph dude did I'll see the way a stake was strapping out there, and he got picked number forty seven. Calvin got picked

number forty four. But other than that great win, we're talking to y'all, fell You know what, y'a man, You know that's just a fan and the fan didn't Uh. But you know, I've made up in my mind, I'm through living on what we didn't get. You know, we got so many guys in his last ten or fifteen years, Well, we could a No, this is the handwill dealt. This is the guys we have to deal with. Sante Samuel is a great player so far early in his career.

We just gotta get this kid the chance. And right now we're riding with Shannon's boyd Brown and who and just Josh just kind of when you start looking at who got picked, when they got picked, where they got picked, why they got picked. A Sante Samuel is a small dude. I think he's under five for ten. That's not prototypical. In Dan Quinn's defense, he wants more of your bigger type corners. And so when they were looking at the corner position, one of the reasons why a Sante Sante

got looked over. And I get it. I hear what you're saying. You know, I'm always a guy. I love pedigree. I love when you come from somebody that was a ball of that man. Means you got a great chance to have some of that in you. But his size, his size was it. It's probably the determining factor when it came down to do we pick him or do we take Kelvin Joseph. And this was a heavy defensive draft. They looked at Dan quinnin Dan kn't say give me the big corner. I My system works better and works

well with a bigger corner. We got it. Got small corners here, We got Jordan Lewis, we got Anthony Brown. I want my six foot and above guys. Don't don't give me the five ten and under guys. That doesn't fit well on my system. And if I'm gonna be here for the next couple of years and you're gonna put this thing on me to turning around, then give me all the groceries that I need to give you this five star dinner and that be that. That particular

pick was Calvin Joseph. Uh. You know, I don't want to say this out too loud, but say the old This guy has been coming peeping our shows Earth. Yeah, knew. They want to see how a great group of guys work together, you know what I'm saying. So they lack chemistry we got. We got the chemistry and the enthusiasm. They got the I think they went cups say they ain't just let me go. Let's do one more call before we get out of here. That's the group when the show who We ended the show with Chris Palmer

and Dallas, what's up? Not much? Hey, I want to ask y'all how y'all doing, because I know you hate it, but I'm gonna beat this dead horse to death. So I'm assuming that a special team's coach before they go out for block for punk coverage, you can tell their team listen, we have two minutes to get the ball back and score before half, and they get the ball to start the second half. If anyone touches that punter, we're gonna cut you with that. I'll listen. Thank you,

thank you, Palmer, thank you. That's our good friend, Palmer. That is our good friend, Palmer, Dallas, that you also try. It's a difference, man. I don't know Jess ever heard said and other guys one of the shows you know that I do. They said, it's a difference between being smart and just being a you know, be aggressive, but you gotta be smart. Don't be reckless, ye don't be reckless perfect, And that's what we're doing. You know. We're just like, Okay, we hit the putter. We know what's

gonna happen, you know. But like that you said, there's no repercussions. It's like, hey, you know, I don't put you in time out if you are do that again? They thing you know, are you doing that? Yeah, you're doing it again, thank you. And you can't you can't call for your attack dog to sick and then be like, well, why do you bite them? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, you see what I'm saying. Like, when you call for a punt block,

in my head automatically almost comes recklessness. Yeah, because you've given me the call to go balls to the wall and really tell you get this thing. So there's a level of recklessness that comes with punt block. Now when you say punt safe, Hey, we're gonna return right, return left, return middle, my mind changes. I'm coming off a little different. I want to make sure my angles are right. I

want to make sure I got the right guy. But when you say, hey, pump block, pump block, that tells all the dudes up from where the pump block go get it. And now we turn into crazed dogs. And so when you have a situation that happens like that, what guy run into the punter is because you gave the sick command. You gave the sick him command. So

I'm going to get the football. Is that a thing where he said they were trying to move the they were trying to push the up back or whatever the guy's called the guy that's a thing, or you just go well at times if he's set back, like you can watch film and say, hey, he sits back a little bit too deep, or that kicker takes to come on that one that is close. Yes, but again I'm coming with reckless abandoned. I'm not coming with im. I got zero structure. I got zero structure. I'm just trying

to go get to the football. And if my assignment wasn't take him and drive him into what you call it, you have all that collateral damage when they get to around the football because you called. You gave the call to go get them, and now you got a bunch of guys trying to go get that punt because you get a block a punt that you you know, campus out there. Hi, fellas, Tomorrow, we are going to have a very special guest to close out the show, the final segment of the show tomorrow, Chris, we got to

work out the mic situation here. We are gonna have to honor the kickoff of Survivor. You're gonna competition bust up, you know, you know, you know Barry. Barry's not gonna come in here because he don't want to be in the same

room with you, Jesse. Yeah, he won't to make eye contact. He just he stares Nate down, but he won't look at you. So because he can beat me running but he can't. Don't think get my boy yet. I felt I'm the old dog of the group. Kurt. That great show. Way to bring it Kurt Jesse gets in you man, Nate, thanks for bringing to Chris, thanks for handling the phones.
