a lot of speed. The one thing that with the new head coach and Nick Sirianni, what he's done for Jalen Hurts is he's couldn't He's taking his offense and made it. Jalen Hurts friendly, getting him on the boots quick, simple throws, kind of want to lull you to sleep a little bit, uses athleticism, some RPOs. Get Sanders out of the backfield. That's gonna be another one, right, we're gonna be. We're gonna have to watch that because if we're talking about again, we don't have any dorn so

I'm strong we won't have Pat walking. So you may see some of Michael Parson's going back to playing some defensive end just a little bit, which means you now have to put back on the field. You don't have Kean O'Neill. He's out. You're gonna have to play a little bit more of Jalen Smith. Now if you decide maybe to do a little bit of Jay Von Curse as that big nickel. But now, if you put Jalen Smith back on the field, you put Lady Vantage back

on the field. Miles Sanders is Miles Sanders and gain Well. These are both two backs who are exceptional, especially Miles Sanders as receivers out of the backfield. And when you're putting Jalen Hursts on the move and the boots and that offensive lineman from Philadelphia, it ain't chopped Liver. They got a pretty decent offensive line and they're gonna want there.

They are going to try to run the football early and often in this game because they don't want Jalen Hurst on the ball thirty forty fifty times a game. That's not in their game plan. That doesn't bolde Well for them. He ain't. He's not uh the kid from the Charges. He's not Justin Herbert, he's not Tom Brady. He he doesn't have that type of passing ability, So you don't want to see him throw the ball forty times fifty times a game. You want to have a

much more balanced uh set of offense. And a lot of it stems from the running game the r like I said, the running game the RPOs and then having those backs come out of the backfield is can we contain that? And now the thing that worries me just a little bit is when you now have to make Jalen Smith a rusher who's there now to cover Jalen Hurts when you have to when you have to make Michael Parsons the rusher who's there to cover Jalen Hurts when he scrambles Bradley or Nay and I and Gregory

there was a defensive vantage. You got who else? The big big kid oh man with urban Ye what you have to do against Jayleen? Let's go back to Oklahoma and play him for that. Keep him boxed in, keep him boxed in, and we're gonna have to if you don't mean, I believe in our corners and say, but they have to do a job. Keep him back. You may not get a sack. gonna get better every week. The more he plays, He's gonna get better. Come on, man, we we are on in pocket. What would you do with what would you what would you do Jesse with Parsons? Would you put him in this game? Or would you do like you did last game? Him up? So I mixed him. You're a big fan of that, right I I keep you

on balance. I don't want to keep you all balance. Um, but I don't do is though, and it's not really being talked about a lot, but Parsons started a game earlier in that In that game against the Chargers, he started out at the right defensive end, and he didn't have too much success succes success, He didn't have too

much success. I don't know what he did before that, but he didn't have too much success earlier in that game against Slater, and then they decided to move him to the other side and let go against the rookie. So if that's gonna be the case, then you know, don't line him up over lane Johnson. That's a savvy vet. You know, that's a guy who's seen all the moves, speed moves, the power move, spin moved, the stunts. He's seen it all, so he's gonna be in Trust me.

He watched film last week. He saw what happened. He's all, what happened to the kid storm? How much is that? I mean they got film on him now, right? Is that gonna be a big difference for him? It's always gonna be whenever you go with experienced offensive lineman. Like the advantage that he had last week was he was going up against a guy who had just amount experiences him and nobody'd seen him rush, nobody had seen him, nobody's seen it kind of really seen his speed up

because Lane Johnson has seen it all. Yeah, he's seen the Joey Bolsas of the World's two three full times already. He didn't seen the Miles Garretts and the Khalil Max And he's dealt with all of these dudes for a long time. So now you gotta be able to mix Michael Parsons into that fold of how do I get him home? Because lining him up over Lane Johns and tell them just go get it. I don't know that's necessarily going to be a good solution to the problem that you may have and having a rush in I'm

a fan of of making Michael Parsons versatile. But you gotta be careful because these backs out of the backfield, Miles Sanders, gain Well, Boston Scott, these dudes can gut you. And I'm not talking about running the ball. I'm talking about little dump off passage screens, bubble routes, um texas routes, angle routes, return routes, When when and not with the guys that they have, your ragers, your devantage Smith's, they're going to lift the defense. They want to take that

speed and get you running the opposite way vertically. So, now, what did that do? That leaves Jalen Hurts with the ball in his hand against a linebacker, That leaves Miles Sanders, Gainwell Scott with the space against a linebacker. They're gonna take their chances with that because they're saying, if I do a little four yard pass to Sanders, I like my chances of him turning that into a seven eight

yard game, you know. And so you got to lift the defense with that vertical speed, and then now I just play conservative underneath, and I just nickeling down you down the field, and then eventually it will end up happening to get is they want to do it that way. They want to suck you up. Come up, you know, bring no dbs and the safeties up. That's that's not the thing that we're going to do on this show. Maybe another show contructure. We're not gonna do that. That

is not gonna be acceptable on our show. And then you know, hit ragor for a bomb, hit you know, hit Devontae Smith for a bomb. And even though you said that that that Trayvonne Diggs has seen Devonte Smith before. That's gonna be a good matchup. That's gonna be a good matchup. Speed, athleticism, precise route running. But just I just need Anthony Brown to keep his eyes out of the backfield, stay locked in the ragar because I've seen it happen with this dude several times. You stopped looking

and he's a four to three dude. He's a legit four three dude. Is he comparable to the Shan Jackson. Yes, Jackson used to kill us. Yes, if he was gonna ball out. The problem is the problem is with the Sean Jackson. He had quarterbacks like McNabb, and he had quarterbacks like WinCE who would throw it. Jalen Hurst isn't

those type of quarterbacks as far as armed talent. Right, he'll throw it, but it's gonna be it ain't gonna be a lot of that kind of you know, you know what Donovan McNabb was and and Carson Wentz was when he was really good. So you gotta just you gotta be. You gotta be fundamentally sound this week when you go up against against them. And even though they don't have zach Ertz, Dallas Goddard ain't know you know, he knows more receiving yards and hurts. Yeah, he know.

I think really the true focus is, you know, this offense is different than the first two teams who played I want. This offense is about speed and space. You know their offensive line is I just said that one injury last week, but you know this is the healthiest they've been, uh in some times. So you know, big athletic offensive line with five perimeter perimeter

players that can that can really really go. So we're really focused on speed and space and what we need to do to combat that. Somebody should have answered those phones during the press conference, like McCarthy was, sorry press con that was Christen. It doesn't stop. Um you know, game one he was he was a linebacker. He focused on playing linebacker,

game too, defensive end, focusing on that. So is it is it gonna be a challenge because now it's not a change game to game, it's a change maybe series to series or even play to play as a rookie. Is that going to be a challenge for him to you know, these two roles, the two duties. They're gonna keep giving it to him until you blow up. They're gonna keep giving it to him until he blow up. And then what's so sweet about game to game is

the game plans are specific. You rarely uh uh. You have a little bit of carry over each game because the things that you really like to do and you have a few new things, but it's specific to that game. And so it ain't like they're gonna say, hey man, we oh, we want you to go back and safety this game and joined the game. That's something gonna be already worked on, you know. So uh, just you may want to add away, add a takeaway to what I just said. You know, no, you they're just fine. I

think with Michael Parsons, you have some dudes. And in the name that comes to mind is Darren Woodson right when he first came into the Cowboys. It's one of the smartest players I've ever A lot of teammates say on the smart players I've ever been around. I played them as safety, played them at the corner, and played them all over the place, and he just picked up on it. And that just could be. I don't know,

Michael Parsons. I'm not in the film room with them, but they feel confident enough that he's able to take the information that is given to him and execute the game play on the field. Now, we've had players in this locker room at that same position who struggled with the one position. Yeah, and here it is his rookie. He's just able to take the information and to digest it and then go out there and to feel and

execute it better than others. And as long as you do that as a coach, you just keep adding on, do you feel like he's reached his limit? And then you say, okay, okay, we know we're at right now. NW you know what I'm saying. But at this point time, I mean, he's just he's just playing well and there and they're moving them around, and you hear all the time he just wants to go out there and play.

Put me anywhere. If you said to him, hey, go play safety, He's like, all right, whatever, whatever gets me on the field again. So I don't think it's for some players it could be an issue. But for some they just get it. They just get it, understand it, and able to go out there and execute it. Did the players around him have to adjust, like say, curse it's safety? He goes, well, I know I got Parsons

in headlinebacker this time, so maybe changes what I do. Responsibilities. No, no, you're gonna have your responsibilities now, something like he's saying. Some guys may get more and give more, but uh, you have you still have your responsibility. They know, Okay, when he's here, this is his read. This is responsibility.

You know what makes the better players. And Jes says hey it this is I can see I got this a gap, and I got between the center and the guard, and that's my gap versus what we thought the play was gonna be. It's coming towards me. I gotta anchor this gap so my guy can come, so my guys can come down. I gotta make both these guards and centers stay on me so my linebackers can run one of those gaps on the backside on the front side.

But if I'm good enough and athletic enough, and i can turn myself to the side and arm over and snatch myself through, and I'm making hit this guy for a loss. Some guys good at just doing what the coach acts eat up some players. Some guys good enough to make it a little bit extra. Then some guys just get blown back. We don't want those guys. Parson

is that guy that's good enough to see it. So Digesting said, man, if I just quick slant the quick dip this thing, I'm taking away the double team, they both gonna miss me. I'm gonna be in there on the thing. He's that extra guy. He's that extra player that can see, digest and react. A lot of guys couldn't do that. When I first came into league, I had to say, man, I better do my job. I just better ankle this thing down. And that's what a lot of guys we I've moaned about all that shit.

I'm just as you see that this dude just wanted to do his job. You know, That's what Lewis, man, Lewis, just do your job. You're the best slot corner. Just do your job. Now he's doing his job. So now we can't move after the inside because he's doing his job. Right, So what what worries you most about this Eagle's offense? Which is gonna be the key to third down n get them off the field down third down and these running backs that is going to be my biggest concern.

And Austin Eckler got hurt last week and it limited what he was able to do. Almost said thank god, but I'm just glad he's not injured that bad. He hurt his ankle and it limited what they was able to do with him. But there was that one stretch where Justin Herbert went sixteen and he went sixteen in a row, didn't miss sixteen. A lot of them was to Austin Ekeler and that underneath stuff. This week, I ain't gonna look forward to next week. But they got
