The following. He's a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. Cowboys flowing out of the backfield's flowing down the sidelines. This he's hanging with the Boys, presented by Wingstuff where Flavor gets its wings. Now your hosts, Jesse Holly, Kurt Daniels, and Nate Newton. Lies ain't gonna lie, Liesna seas, it ain't not it ain't. Yeah, it's hanging with the boy. That's the live Look Championship
plausa outside in front of the Fourth Center. What you hear in the background is go live, just go live. The Cowboys signing an offensive, Yeah, they did. And it's Nate new too. Yeah, that's Nate in the background signing his contract. He gets someone. I'm gonna seem i' gonna see how much money he gets. So when I go back in there with my contract, Jones, you robbing the part to keep the rich Richard, come on, man, and he saw the white guy in here. That's that was
a lot. Look at the Steel Championship plause outside the front of the Fourth Center where it's a little bit gloomy and its starting to rain a little bit. When we came in. It wasn't supposed to change a little bit. But do they change quite j Now you look kind of I get I agree. Back together. I'm in the gym. I'm in the gym. I got my cuts in my busins, you know strong. Yeah, we got a fresh cut over there. Yeah. Man, when I love Colorado was all right because I thought
I was gonna be freezing. So but man, it's just good to see y'all. Go, Jess, go, Jess. Back together. The Cowboys donna sign you. No, they've been not three tops foot champion, senior editor at Dallas Cowboys dot Com, the below average Jesse Holly Together. We make hanging with the boys the sports talk equivalent of Breill. People feel us when we speak. The second sport to you by wingstop where flavor gets its wings. And the Cowboys have been doing some signing. On Sunday when we were not here,
the Cowboys made a trade. They sit one of their players down forty five south. They said, another player up forty five south. The Cowboys finally traded for wide receiver Brandon Cooks. They work some deals out with him. Houston will pay some of that salary. The Cowboys pay some of that other salary. We'll get more into that, but fresh off the press, the Cowboys forty five, that's the word that they use. I didn't use that word. The
Cowboys website use that word. They fortified offensive line with some versatility, signing guard tackle. I'm gonna screw his name up. Chuma e d o ga in Doga. Christ might no Chuma in Doga. Uh. They just signed him, just giving the line a little bit of versatility. Nate, you know we are resident All Pro, Pro Bowl, Super Bowl winning offensive lineman. How do you feel about the Cowboys? Well, I'll talk about Brandon Cooks and I will talking about
Brandon Cooks. I'm so I'm so happy we finally signed somebody of meaning the defensive back and Brandon cook After that, they just didn't signed some folks. So you want to talk about the offensive lineman. No, yeah, he come from Atlanta. That he played at Atlanta, he played somewhere else. He's a third round pick. They didn't work somewhere else. Yeah, he's with the Jets and then spent some time with Atlanta and now here in Dallas. And listen, here's the thing.
Here's what here's what we're not gonna do today, not why why are you sending ground rules here? Not going to do that day? Okay, listen to me and listen to me, kids that they canna be good. Today's not gonna be the day that we shave the Cowboys front office. I am going to give I am sending the ground rules that we will give the Cowboys some credit. We will give the front office some credit. We have begged and begged and begged and begged and begged someone. We
were begging like Keith Swing. We were begging like Johnny Gill. We've been begging like all the soulful singers, all the soulful singers, a very white We've been begging Isaac Hayes, Ted d if you think you're lonely now, we still don't have an office when too. We've been begging this front office to make some moves. And not only just make moves, because the last time they really made moves in free agency it was kind of a it was a Brandon card deal that didn't work out for the Cowboys.
But but but this new era of what they're doing has been relatively smart. They go when they get Stefane Gilmore, who is getting a little bit long in the tooth. But I told you guys before, if I was a GM, which I'll never be a GM, but if I was, my defense will be would be built with a bunch of veteran dudes, because remember I said this before, I said veteran dudes, and I will sprinkle in a young player here and there, not old dudes, not old dudes,
but veteran guys. Because defensively, a lot of it is the knowledge of the game, knowing down in distance, knowing um familiarity, thank yeah, down in distance, being able to identify route concepts and run formations and all those type of things. And I think adding Stefane Gilmore gives you another defensive back in the back in the in the defensive backfield that understands what he's seeing. There isn't much guessing going on with him. There isn't much unfamiliar territory
going He's a confident player. And now again he may not have all the tools he once had when he was the defensive player of the Year, but you make he still up the top twenty uh, I mean she was top fifteen corner, isn't he with with his knowledge and ability? Oh not that low. Oh no, I mean I like him. He yeah, I mean yeah, he good. Yes, if twenty let's say, if we if we get if he get the pass rush, he gonna make some stuff happen between him and did I mean yeah, him and
Didna make some stuff. So the Cowboys done that cost him, uh nothing to do that. And then you saw the trade that they made with Brandon Cooks right literally they they they fifth round pick from the corner. Sorry, everything you say it was great, go ahead on um. And then you signed Brandon Cooks. And for what it's worth, when it comes to Brandon Cooks, this is a guy who, with multiple different teams, have been able to put together six one thousand yards seasons. He's been in the league
eight years. Six of those eight years with three different three different franchises, he's put up a thousand yard receiving and I think you add that to the room. You've given this You've given this team an advantage. Now not saying super Bowl because a lot still has to come together and we'll talk more into it in depth. But but we're not gonna do today is we're not gonna belittle what the front office has been doing. Have I have never done that. You are you you you were,
you were trending today. The only thing, the only thing I have to say about the Brandon Cooks deal is the money they saved being patient waiting on the kid. We needed him last year as well as but we got him now, so that in the money they've saved. So I'm riding bro, I'm riding with you right here. It's just when you went to talking about See if you don't want me to say nothing, don't talk about the offensive defens and lines, and I won't say it. Well,
but I won't say a word. What is We know Cook's supposed to be a speecher, but what what does he bring now to this offense? Okay? Knowledge? No, no, no, no, no, you are right are the one thing that I want people because a lot of people are gonna say, well, why was he traded so many times to three different teams? And we can talk about that at length and why we don't know all the ins and outs of it.
But you never heard Hi about being a bad player, that's right, that's right, a bad locker room guy, that's right. He mean anything like that, so that that's not the cause he's been productive trouble and not been in trouble, not not injury prone. I'm gonna give you the positive of him playing for three different franchise. Okay, pray for the Saints and he played for the Patriots. So you've been around Sean Payton, Bill Belichick, you've caught passes from
Tom Brady and Drew Brees. To me, that is a guy who is coming here in this offense. And that shows you his adaptability, his ability to adapt to different offenses and situations and quarterbacks and rolls and things that they asked him to do and to still be successful to get a thousand yards season six out of the eight years you've been in the league. That's no easy
that's no easy feat. And that puts him amongst the commentation of some of the guys who we consider to be some of the best in the league, especially when two of them were Houston quarterbacks that didn't have much going on. And now you bring that into a situation where it's stable, Dak Prescott, Stable Mike McCarthy, Stable, Ceede Lambs, your number one, and now he can help. He can say, cde, listen when we're running this. So we're running that, try
this dad listen. When I was in New England, we ran a similar play try this, and I think a lot of people are saying, take the top off, take the top off, take the top off. Well, if we're going to the trend of what Mike McCarthy said that we're going to do and kind of getting more into that true West Coast form ain't gonna be allowed taking the top off. It's gonna be a lot of slants, quick outs, you know, five yard outs, tick yard everything, shallow crosses, it's gonna be a lot of this fast
paced movement. So getting in him here, Getting him in here now allows dak and And and Schottenheimer and McCarthy to get the timing down. This is where it's going to be key when it comes to the receiver position. Running the West Coast office and New England we kind of ran something similar to that, is that that quick office. You gotta be accurate, You gotta know where to throw, you gotta know the throw that. You have to be accurate,
and you have to have the timing down. If you are a tick late, if you are a tick too fast, if you are not where your eyes are supposed to be. This offense the West. The true West Coast offense is not going to work. And that you understand this because you played against that West Coast offense, your rivals. The forty nine is a lot of those early night I'm gonna tell y'all something, man, this this is all about the playbook, the West Coast offense. I dealt with a
libit when I was with the Carolina Panthers. This offense cannot lose. The only way you lose in this offense is the guys gonna have it up here. That is the is a wrong Jess. You're right. If you look at New England playbook, I can't even explain it. If you have to let your boy and him one receiver can have depending on what the look is, you can have five different routes. One receiver. You can go up and they give you discoverage, discoverage and they got a
route for every game. I wouldn't have made it, Yes, I'm serious, I wouldn't have made it. I mean because your office a line, the protection basically stays the same. But they got there. They their adjustments too. It's no way you can lose. But if we're in the middle of the season, Sam Man, why did he do that? Defend? Why didn't he go across the seat? We shouldn't have that this year? These got yes. Yes. Now it's up to the coaches to relay it to the players and
transform it. Transfer it to the players where they can understand it. But you cannot, especially during training camp, especially during the d OTAs. Forget about going out for as I'm as, i'm as, I'm saying something wrong here. Good you get about going out give the cowboys and your teammates are percent forget about Hey, let me call you back girl. Oh man, I'm ticktock, I'm serious, I'm cracking jokes. But you cannot in this offense until you get it
second nature. You can't mess around things can change it. Like he say, timing your quarterback, it ain't gonna be no, oh I read it wrong. You see it, You throw it and receiver has to be there. As I'm correct, Jazz, you're absolutely go ahead on Jazz, go ahead on my correct. And that's what this offense is going to be about. It's going to be about, Hey, we gets the line of scrima its identify where this ball is going and let it rip. Does that make it tougher? For Dak.
Or we're having these receivers like the cooks now make it easier. It doesn't make it tougher for Dak. It actually makes it easier for Dak because you you you break down, you break down the barriers of having them make multiple, multiple decisions. Yes, you break that barrier down. You should be able to come to identify what you see and and have these guys on the same page and let that thing rip. And I think that's when
Dak is at its best. When when Dak is able to just let that thing rip and just let it just be what it is. Then then then you gotta just grab her name. I would, I would every time I see her, Okay, grab her. We gotta, we gotta, we gotta bring her in here. Excuse me, y'all, y'alling everybody, not everybody, come come come look, we don't need everybody'll come right here, because look at this smile. Every time, this, this smile is you she and my camera. Come come
get into my camera right there. Look at that smile every time, I every time you cannot not smile and be joy with seeing that smile. Thank you for lighting the world up with that smile. How's everybody doing. Everybody's good. We're doing a live show. Come here, young fella, Come here, young fella. In here, we're gonna go to commercial break show boy. This is We love when a good We love when a good tour come by. What's your name? Man? Ari? Like Ari from this from Entourage? Yeah, all right, Look
that's you right there in that camera. See that up there? You like from so later on when you go back and lift this up on YouTube and show all your friends. And I was hanging out the Cowboys studio the day with Jesse Holly and Kurt Daniels and Nate Newton, hanging with the boys, the sports talk equivalent of the brel people feel us when we speak. He does not care. Thank you. We appreciate your b All right, Chris, all right,
we're gonna we're gonna We're gonna go to break. When we come back from break, we'll talk about the departures of a tight end. My plan is coming into fruition. I told you guys we need a flexi sexy and a linebacker. The departure of a tight end. And the Cowboys are doing some more in house signing. We'll talk about that on the other side. Of this break, stay right here with the This is hanging with the boys.

You gotta be get the check. Around here, you gotta be getting the check. Putting a
lot of work to get that all right. Back to the Cowboys off season, which I think this front office and we've I haven't said it, A lot of people have said it, but they've called Stephen Jones catboy. I don't call them catboy because I'm thinking one day Stephen Jones gonna catch some of them folks in the street and run up on them, and y'all not gonna call him catboy to his face. So um, some some deals
have been made. The Cowboys have signed some of their own, signing UH safety veteran safety Donovan Wilson, bringing a three headed monster back together. So now you still have j Ron curse Malie Cooker. Why do you make these faces? What's wrong? No? No, no, face, didn't say that. No. I'm looking at the arts and I'm trying to figure out. I can't figure this stuff out. I'm like, I can figure it out. Bring it back. Donovan Wilson was a
distractable player. I'm sorry, ladies and gentlemen. Yeah, okay. One player that is not being brought back was Franchise last year tight end Dalton Schultz has signed. He's going forty five. South has signed a one year deal that can get up to nine million dollars with the Texas Houston Texans. So out Houston Texas. I mean how Dalton Shouts of the Houston Texas resigned. Donovan Wilson resigned late vander Esh, Yeah, that's another sign, Like how you guys feeling. And I
know it's in March. I know it's early and we still we got draft and ot, I get it, But just for feeling sake, feeling sake, how do you guys feel? How the Cowboys are doing in the off season so far? Awesome? Great, A plus. You know everybody's excited. We talked about before
they are gonna actually make some trades. Are they ever gonna sign some free agents that sort of thing, well, some worthy free which they haven't really done that yet, but I think, well they've signed their own, so yeah, I guess in that regard to have So I think retaining Wilson and Vanderesh were good. I thought they got Vanderish for a lot cheaper than he would go and Wilson even was a good deal. And yeah, I mean the two trades a man like you said earlier, were
basically for nothing. I mean, they can I'd have been real smart this time. I'm with you these uh something you can be proud of, and uh, we made a conscious effort not to say what we want and what we think is negative. So I'm I'm gonna be quiet. I've been holding off on this um mainly because it's not that I'm bearing the lead, but just I don't know if we should handle it with Carrol. Just just go so the Cowboys, of course, we all know the big the big elephant in the room is that they
did not they released your boy. Yeah, Zeke Elliott, Yeah, should bring him up. So that ain't no elephant in the room. That's something that had to be done. That is called doing business. That's that's that Zeke understands. You know that that had to be done at the at the money they was paying. Nah, man, it ain't. I love you, Zeke, always be my boy. I'm glad they got you when they got you the fourth fourth pick
in the draft several years ago. I think you earned it, You earned you keep you think people look back on his career here is as finally as they do like an emmet or they won't because when you don't get into NFC championship games and you don't get you know, like like Danny White was in NFC Championship game and
you know he's still yeah. He just it's interesting because he had such a you know, he had his problem his career, man like I like Zeke career, but he was yeah, and he was a fun player to watch. He brought excitement and energy to the locker room. I mean, so, I think overall it's been good. But you mentioned Imman Smith, you played in block for You're a large portion of literally and figuratively of Emma Smith becoming the all time
leaning Russian the National Football League. Well, your former teammate. He had some choice for hers about what happened with Zeke, and this was in it from a post that he made. He said, Wow, this is amazing to me. No disrespect to Mali Davis. Our starting running back is gone and his backup has a broken leg. The NFL stands for not for long. Everyone else go get your money because they have no love for you. It doesn't make sense. And this is one of those things that make you
shake your head. Thank you Zee for everything, for giving everything you have, including playing injured all last year. This is why the NFL stands for not for long. Well, not the law everybody else, go get your money because they have no love for you. Now this is this is this is the NFL leading all time Russia. This is the Cowboys all time leading Russia. And basically Emmett's kind of throwing some heavy shots at the Cowboys organizations saying they don't love you, they do not love you.
Maybe he at the end of his career kind of face that didn't because the last two or three years and Arizona that continue to you know, they weren't ready to move on. That's just like like he said, it's unfortunate in some ways, it's not for long. It's a business. And I think Emma's absolutely right that the famous saying is you die here, you live, you live long, live long enough to see yourself become the villain. And that's that.
That is what ends up happening is either very few people get a chance to ride off until the sunset. This this what im what Emmett understands and don't understandings because he's a businessman, imm and understand, but then I get on social media, he immit, you're a dinosaur. And what I mean by that is I can't nobody to play twenty five years, like you, my friend, everybody can't
rush for all those yards. And that's how he saw Zeke's a guy that could possibly be what he was, that that ain't lasting, that it's not the days in NFL. I understand what you're saying. It's not for long, and I felt we should have found a way to keep him up under the cap. But like we all said, is you either gonna pay for a low, low number and everybody's gonna say it disrespectful, which I don't think it's disrespect because I don't think he came in the
league making three four million dollars. But you know, I don't know what you did off the field, but you know, if you want to stay, I'm quite sure if you'd went to the big dog, Missus Jones said, hey man, i'll play for this amount, you may able to still have been here. But yeah, it'd be interesting to see where he lands because he's can't think he's going to get a whole lot of money out on the market now, and would he have been better off taking a low
deal here? You know, I'd say, how people what reports said that they didn't even they didn't offer, They didn't didn't offer like DeMarcus, where like Dez Bryant, they didn't even offer an opportunity for a lower pay amount. I think the team does that because they don't want to just disrespect the player. But I'm the player. I'm going sometimes disrespect me like sometimes sometimes sometimes be a little
dirty to me, right the first round. That's what happen when you in the first round to disrespect me, bro and with Imman says, you know, it's so funny to me. Okay, Emmett in fifteen years made sixty one million dollars, right, and and my number, Emman is still in the top
five of running back earnings of all time. Yes, okay, Well Zeke made seventy million and seven right, So I mean, I'm just saying it's like he's got a lot of money just because you know, the average salary for a running back right now isn't what was ye three years yea, three years ago. Yeah, you can make money. The game has changed. And believe me, y'all outside over here by myself defending Zeke, but what who was going to get some money? They wouldn't did what they did, and how
will you justify that you couldn't have? So he was gonna get money. Yeah, like kind of brought up last week. It makes you wonder why the players he's already made more a ton of money, why he doesn't come to the team say I'll play for whatever, or even Dalton Schultz. I mean, why I go to Houston? But Dalton Shows is still a young horse. He's still young. What kind of you know he's playing. He's going on to prove
it year down in Houston with a rookie quarterback. But you're gonna put up the kind of stats she'd put up here a tine million verses three would well, I mean that's a big difference, but yeah, that's about nine verses seven. But here's the thing in Dalton case. You franchised me last year in hopes that I can possibly get a deal done. Now people are saying he turned down a three year, thirty sixteen dollars deal that was kind of fluffy in some area that like you know,
wasn't really here. Yeah. Yeah, So it's like, all right, and then you you had me play for a prove it year and then in the first half of the year you basically didn't even use me. So how can I trust you again that if I come back again for another prove it year at a cheaper rate that you're going to actually give me an opportunity to prove it. See that. And this is what I try to tell people. It is, Remember last year, everybody, this was a defense. Well you know, Dak love him, Dak, Dak love him,
Dak love him. He didn't even trust that his balls gonna throw him all them balls this year? Did it? Because also and also in Dalton shout offense defense, what the Houston Texas will be drafting from quarterback this year? Yeah? Right? Or you think you would think you would think they're gonna get a rookie quarterback this ship. What is the best friend of a rookie quarterback end? The tight end?
So yeah, maybe, I mean, but still you gotta think his stats would have been better here probably probably nine nine. And he wasn't even get signed here unless they correct them from I think they gave him then ultimatum contract signed this. I'm serious. Sometimes you get that aultimatum contract, like you know, and this is one of those two young players who are looking to come to the National
Football League. You gotta sometimes see the landscape. Part of the reason why Dalton shots why the market isn't where it was supposed to be for Dalton Sholtz is because in about a month when we go into the NFL drive, there's a boat load of tight those drives where that have a bunch of tight ends. So teams, I'll say, unless I'm unless you're here and I'm close to winning and you're the piece that I kind of need, then
I'm gonna take chances. Don't getting one of these younger guys who are gonna cost me half of what you cost and can really block and for four years. You know, that sometimes plays into the factor, you know, that timing When a receiver comes up, a running back on old line and you gotta host of them coming out in the draft, tears are like, whoa, I'll just take my chance on one of these guys. So you know, all right, that's that's what it is. Let's go to our final
Let's go to our final break. That's what it is, man. That's just that's just how it goes, man, That that's how it goes. signed some of their owns. The Cowboys are trying to do what they can to put together a roster that will be uh respectable, not during the ragul season, because we see that on a lot this Cowboys team put together teams that win twelve, thirteen, fourteen games, whatever it's it's will this roster be able to sustain its greatness well into January? That is that that is the ultimate. And that's why I can praise them in March but
not get happy in March. I can still give credit in March while not being able to say this is this is the year They're fine because it's a we're long away from that. We're we're so far away. Can you repeat how you open that up again? You say you praise you praised them in March because ninedge and and I can I can yeah, I can give them credit in March, but not praising for yest. However, I said that, and it was great how you said. Because that that. I'm not to say this, fellas, because you
still ain't touched bread and butter. Because I signed out a thing the other day with the project, the starters in that offensive line, and I'm just we gotta get some depth. We gotta get some solid depth. But go ahead on Jess, you're doing a hell of a job. They got chew meaoa Okay, Well we'll see if he get chewed up or will chew up somebody versatility. Yeah, we'll see if you get chewed up or will hit you up somebody. Well, the Cowboys, I've been spending some money, yes, sir.
And there are a couple players on this Cowboys roster that I think this year they'll be due for extensions. M yeah, there anybody I think it's Lamb dig Diggs and be honest and Parsons, No, I don't think I think he's not. I mean they could, but I think Okay, there's twenty twenty draft picks. I think those are the three yeer Okay, So for the most part, be honest, Lamb Diggs. Let's let's let's take Beyondest off the table. I know we need offers a lot, but let's just tee.
I was going on with the show for the disrupt the show. Let's take him on the table. But everybody want to get rid of be honest, man, I'm not saying we want to get rid of him. Let's just talk about level of importance here. He is important at that not not not to do the two names. Okay, all right, Lambs and Diggs. Let's let's let's be honest. Which are you gonna go first? We love you, be honest, which one first? That is the question who gets their
deal first? Oh? I don't know. It's tough, that's real. I can't get into that one cause I like both of them, and both of them as have matured, you know, and I just what you what you think? I mean? I say, flip a corning just maybe dis whoever come in first corner? You know, you need a good solid cornerback. Maybe receivers are a little easier to find. I don't know, No, they ain't, because while we struggled, just rip the corn. Who who don't want to come in first? Huh? I'm biased.
I'm biased because to me, this is a quarterback league. This is it's a quarterback league. And unless you're Patrick Mahomes and you can just take whatever and turn it into you know you can you can. You can take some some garbage and turn it into a Thanksgiving feast because garbage. But like because all right, I'm sorry, now you never turned to do it like that. I apologize. Non star study, right there you go? Is that better? Not gards, not trash, but not star study and turn
those guys into a super Bowl winning team. But there's not even more reason to have you have your good cornerback line. No, no, no, you got to score points this and and if you're, if you're at any point in time going to give your quarterback and extension, you don't want to fall back into the same thing we've followed them before of trying to find more receivers when you have one already on the roster, who's who've been making the progressions that you want every single year and
has become Dak's main guy. And last year he showed us all that you know what, I am wide receiver one. This is this is my stage. And Brandon Cooks is not going to be here for a long for long term, and we who knows what Mike Gallup is going to be. I hope so, I hope so. But I think where you have most of your money at, and that's in
the quarterback position. And we've already come to the conclusion that that quarterback, our quarterback, the starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys, needs weapons around him at all times, number ones not. You can't just again, you can't just put average guys around him and think he's going to have a tremendus amount of success. So for me, it's it's
it's go ahead and getting Lamb locked up first. Also because there are some other receivers who are about to get paid as well in that class that if if if they go first, the market gets reset. That's the thing I have, These young players like they can Why would they even want to sign a deal early because you know, like you said, you know, this year's average contracts aren't going to be as much as next years,
which you're gonna get next year. I mean, I would think you've heard, you know, Stephen and all say it takes two to tango. I don't. I don't know why any young star player would want to sign early because this league, in this game is so violent, it's so physical, it's so unpredictable that you can be on top of Mount Everest one Buffalo. That kid and just said that kid in Buffalo, you right in the story, that kid out in the field. Yeah, you can be on top of Mount Everest one day and then be at the
bottom in the valley the next day. Michael Gallup got hurt. Tony just got hurt. And right Tony, Tony Potter, they're talking about Tony Pollard and we will give him a deal. He gets hurt the last game of the they're like, get rid of them, and everyone's like, get rid of them. He's hurt. Franchise these guys, these young kids think that way though everybody their ages do. Their ages are saying, no, give me the bread right now, give me the money right now. And what I can do is in two years.
Well yes, but in two years if everything is going well, two or three is everything, we'll come back to the table. Yeah, we'll come back to the table. We'll restructure, you know, and then we'll that whatever TV money is there took. This league is not on a decline when it comes financially. This league, anything is a sending Roger Adell is about to get a new deal or make him the highest paid UH commissioner in sports history. This this league is doing this. It ain't. It ain't no dip into National
Football League. But if you don't digs aging over there looking too like hold on now? Yeah, yeah, I mean, I just think whoever can get to mister Jones, Stephen Jones that is, and say look at him, man, do you really want to work a deal? You know? So, okay, turn that around. There's this as this team, we've seen some moves like maybe they want to win now, you know, should they be spending this extra cap? I think they have I don't know, sixteen nineteen million left in the cap.
Do they want to spend that on a future or they're like, man, we need more right now, let's go get let's go get that stud offensive line. I think I think the window and the owner. The only reason I'm saying is, and it may not make sense sense to most people, You'll win on your office line. It's almost shut and we already signed here and Jesse said it three times. Our quarterback needs to the troops around him. And our office line is dying on the vine bro and so we we gotta get one more guy. And
I'm not saying this guy that we signed too. What are you talking about? Hi? Your nils look good too. Yeah? Man, we gotta keep him up. Yeah, I gotta quit picking a good time man far in the journey guy. But anyway, I'm you keep. If I'm Digs, I ain't letting home was signed before me, I'm not because defense don't get no respect around him. And I'll be like, hey, look at a coach or whatever they call mister Jones, Stephen whoever looking at m My needs mine, I need. The
greatest example was Jaylen Smith. Yeah I knew he probably knew his knee wasn't gonna hold up. Yeah, didn't they say because Zeke was holding Now yeas, get a piece of the byre. I'll take it. I'll take and and I mean it worked out for him. You know he got paid. Let me ask you this question here, man, if we would have asked this question at the beginning of last year at the Four Games, we saw CD not doing what he was supposed to do, and we thought it would do and we Digs still kind of hot.
Who you think they would have paid then? But what had done? Yeah, and he told y'all not for long? What have you done for me lately? Like that's what it's about. You have to strike while the iron is high, because you can get cold quick. And unfortunately most people on the outside looking in think that there's some sort of family that's ain't no family there is there is. If your last the name is not Jones, I change man. If your last day ain't Joe. And I'm not saying
they don't take care of theirs. But if your last name make Jones and you come to the business table, they're gonna try to cut your throat like that is. These are sharks. The joke Jerry Jones did not come worth billions of dollars by not being a shark in the business room when it calls, for when it calls, when it calls now. So if if if you hot in twenty twenty three and you cold in twenty twenty four, yesterday's price is not today's price, So you gotta get
it while they're getting this good. So if you are up for a deal, and and this is kudos, Zeke. We talked about Zeke. That was Zeke. He did. He didn't realize. Brother, these first two year I didn't gave y'all I'm smoking, I'm I'm NFL League leading rushing. I'm I'm hot in fish Green. Who knew their legs was going quicker Zeke or the cowboys. Z Zeke knew at that time the way I'm going back these drinks party. This ain't gonna say that, don't do. He's straightened out now,
but was partying. He could have rolled down in our day. Z could have rolled with us. Zeke could have rolled with us. Dog. Zeke brought that thing in the cloves that he's gonna roll with us. Dog, I'm telling you. Oh, Zeke said, I'm hot, pay me down, and they did. And then he said you paid me. You see him didn't ride with us like that, stayed with him. Yeah, yeah, you understood. Tell us that's it for our show. I'm digs man, if I'm did, I'm thinking about that now.
I'm if I'm a tweet dig I'm gonna cut through this. Little boys, their daddy's coming in there for real. I tell daddy to get his one. Yeah, daddy need a new pair of shoes. They didn't needs a new pair of shoes, Digs. They didn't need some new pair of shoes, get them some sneaky digs because if not, they got the fifth year right in here, and nobody wants the fifth year. No, nobody don't. But I'm just saying, but who's gonna get it because I don't think they're gonna
sign both fun I really don't. Digs can't. Well, only first rounders get the fifth that's right. So he he digs out of that conversation. Wow, so he's really gonna be trying to get it. Yeah, that's what I'm saying, trying to get it right behind him as Parsons being like, yeah, it's a lot of money got paid out and and make no mistake about it, Michael Parsons will be the highest defensive player being paid a national football league. That that won't even be. They need to They can't do
like they they were Dak. They need to get that done. Oh yeah they're not. They're not, Michael, Michael gonna get broke off all right, Kurtius, appreciate your brother Nate, thanks for keeping us on the up today. I appreciate it because coming here I was coming out with until we get my offensive line, and I'm gonna be ugly. You got to check me every week, Bro, stay tuned to all coming offensive linements to day. Nay, I told you, But I don't know if he's going on. Folks that
ate chewing on him, schuma, ego, he's a goat. Well now, I don't know. I'm like Nate.
