The following. He's a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. Cowboys flowing out of the backfield's flowing down the sidelines. He's hanging with the boys, presented by Wing Stuff where Flavor gets its wings. Now, your hosts, Jesse Holly, Kurt Daniels and Nate Newton, what's going on across the sea. It ain't not it, I
ain't from y'all have coming with me. That's a live look at the Tostito Championship Plaza outside saying you do well, it is cold outside and if you look at the monitor to your left, you see those fake snow flurries. It's really snow flurries out there today. Explain how we got to the snow flurris on the monitor. So as we're preparing to go on, Churs puts up the shot and he goes, man, this shot doesn't really give us
the feeling with the snows out, does you justice? And they says, uh huh, look at the screen right there right. I was like, those are faked snow flurries. He's like, oh hell, you could have confused me. So that is for you man, right there, Cowboys Florida. Yeah, yeah, he's from Florida. So what do you expect, Cowboys going home after the show. That's what you can expect. Take on the Philadelphia Eagles, this savvy. Some things have changed in that football game, and some players may or may not
be in there. Does that change what you think? This secondment is brought to you by Wingstop where Flavor gets his wings. That his name Newton, He is Kurt Daniels. I am Jesse Holly. Together we are hanging with the boys. Something else today sports the sports talk equivalent brel. People feel us when we speak, like my hat. Oddly enough, I'm gonna be honest with you, guys, because we're family. I stole his hat. This this this had is stolen.
So when Holly's helping hands went to the Walmart to get toys for the kids, I saw the hat in the shelf and I liked it, and I put it on. And I had every attention to pay for the hat until you got home. Until I got home and realized I didn't pay for the hat. And if you watch the video, I actually had a different hat on when
the video started. One of the first videos that I put out, I had like a center a snowman hat on, and then I saw this one, and I switched, and I got so caught up in the of what was going on. I mean, come on, the Waltons, you guys don't do your employees well anyway, so you can you can spare a couple of dollars for this hat. I mean, I'm not hurting the bottom line of the Waltons, right, probably am I probably not? But and ano of them on franchises NFL. You're talking about the big dog Walton,
the Waltons, Wilson. Get on, come on, if he's stealing, why can I not stand? You know? Yeah, he steals every day. He steals every day he shows up in the steals I left. He runs up and down plane. So I'm staying in shape I would do. I actually spent a lot of money in that store. So this is kind of like my This is like my my parting gift. The five finger discount Um probo votes have come out. The Cowboys have you know how many to have? Seven? Seven?
The Lucky Number seven Um, Treyvon Dix, Ceedee and Lamb Tank, Lawrence, Zack Martin, Michael Parsons, Tony Pollard, Turpid it's a little bit of a surprise, I think, Um, I guess, but I'm excited, like to me, out of all those names, and I'm congratulations to all of the Pro bowlers um on this list, But the two names that for me that stick out the most is Tony Pollard, which is which is absolutely great because you want nothing more in a contract year to go then to be selecting the
Pro Bowl and you want nothing, You want nothing more. And he's about like twenty something yards away from reaching a thousand yards this season, So getting a thousand yards getting exlected to the Pro Bowl in the contracts year, that's like the trifector. I'm many yards he called out the back fore he but that's what he's going to
use it. He might he might be about he might be a thousand, you know, running and then probably somewhere around four or five hundred receiving probably with something like that. But to me, Cavanta Turpin is the one hundred seventy nine scrimmin yarns, so about two hundred something yards with three hundred and ten receiving yards. So I mean he's still got a chance to maybe get to yeah, use him. But to me, Cavanta Turpin is the one um nate
as someone who's been the underdog. Me someone's been the underdog, you know, think about it. In the last twelve months, Covanta Turpin's gone from not being in football to playing in the USFL, to being the USFL MVP, to then signing on with the Dallas Cowboys and not really understanding of knowing what their status was going to be because sometimes they see like he's signing them for a two
year deal, whatever that deal. A lot of that stuff is fluff for guys like Cavanta Turpin, and when they cut you, it's a very minimal uh cost amountains for the team to trying to find your way into having a spectacular preseason. Now I'm finding himself. Yeah, at the Pro Bowl and those bonuses for a guy like Kavante Turpin that comes along with going to the Pro Bowl. I mean it may not sound like much, but you're talking about maybe another, you know, seventy five to one
hundred thousand dollars, if not more. Then you add on the snaps accounts, then you add on there's there's all the little things behind the closed door that you know. Todd Williams writes into those contracts that we don't really get a chance to see that when a guy goes to the Pro Bowl for him, you know, going to the Pro Bowl in your first year kind of in the National Football League, that kind of sets you up
a little bit. That kind of sets you up for maybe you know, I can stick around for maybe another two or three years, but you know, you get a Pro Bowl another two or three years, teas will give you a shot. And and and beg and beg to get into the into the wide receiver beg now, he coach, Come on, man, let me get you know, let me get into that wide receiver room. Let me get some of that knowledge. Talk to the wide receiver coach, he shrup one morning, you know during off season, you know,
just coming over to see what's going on. You'd be sitting at his hey man, waiting on you. You know what I'm saying, because I'm with you. All you need is for the door to be cracked open, and uh and great things can happen. Man. And now you just gotta show a willingness man, because he's smart. He had one little ugliness, but other than that, he's shown to be consistent. He you know, and I love a guy that don't let the ball hit the ground on punts, and he tried his best not to let that ball
hit the ground on punts. You like the team having a return specialists only because I can't. I was trying to remember the last time they've had a guy that was pretty much strictly a return guy. In today's interval, when you got one, he's got to be unique, and we have a unique one. You know, you got to be unique because, like Jess said, and we always talk about, positions are too precious now, you know, like the injuries, the wide receiver thing we went through, and now the
offensive line thing. Now that Devens, you know, specialist, I just do this. Oh that's you gotta be special. Yeah, it's kind of my worri Or wonder was retivering rooms getting really crowded. Can you board to keep just a return specialist in todays? But obviously, like you said, they have a good one. I mean when you look at Cavanta Turpin, especially when you're talking about getting into the playoffs, it's those hitting yardists that most people don't understand. Yes,
miss it's you know, can I flip the field? And at any given time, do I have the ability to, you know, bust off of forty fifty sixty yard one and for Cavanta Turpin, he has that special ability. Top five in both kickoff return and pump return. I think he's the only one in the National Football League that is top five and both of those categories. So having a specialist. Definitely. He looked by he looked god like ugly. Definitely. I wasna like your your outfit. He's electric lead that
you gotta round too. About your hat and that right now? And what you got on your wrist, Yeah, you electric man. I wanted to make sure I have. I was in a Christmas spirit today, man, So we was banking since both of us had we thought it ain't And it don't worry. Chris already had shot you down. I knew it. Yeah, he already had snapped you down. The warmest thing I could find. But but let's be honest, Kurt, like you're you're not the most colorful person that we have, blood
and black and white. Yes, your tones are very tones are very straight man. You're like, I need to expand a little there. I mean, you can get a little freaky with the colors. You know what I'm saying, nothing wrong about when you were younger. It was you like that when you were younger, you didn't worry about what your war is much then or whatever. You just I don't know. Of course, you know we do work for the Cowboys, which is blue and gray, so you know silver.
No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, trying to pass out. I'm just saying my wardrobe the silver, I do have a normal, higher than normal. There's a lot of people upstairs who work for the Cowboys who don't only wear blue, gray and white. Its least Christmas, okay that you see. I'm always in some type of cowboys here, but it's Christmas. You gotta living up a little bit. I'm sorry, Well I said, I just grabbed the warmer single Chris Scott on the day's out here. Throw Chris
come in here where you get a chance. We're all consistent in what we do. Nate's always gonna have his shirt, his shirt tucked in, always your shirt tucked in the day. I need to leave it out yawed in like I think you do it now, like it's second nature. You don't even think about it. You're gonna tuck yours in. But you know where I got that from. I don't. Tommy Ag fullback for the Cowboys. Back in the day, we used to be getting dressed and Tommy Ag will
come out. You have white beat the T shirt on right, and you have a pull all the way through his underwear his pants, and then it'll be coming out. And then sometimes we put his dress shirt and it'll be coming out of it. Like Tommy, what you're doing. You gotta be tough since you're gonna put it all the way through your underwear. Top back end frinday O game.
So I started doing it a lick. Yeah, you talk, you talk, you tuck it away, That's for sure, all right, um, Nate, yesterday we didn't get a chance to talk about it. Two things we get to talk about yesterday, but one of them or something that you kind of alluded to in the break, and that was about yesterday about the Cowboys changing the practice schedule and how that might be a bad thing for the Cowboys. I get it. We're
on a short week. You lose a day because you're playing on Saturday instead of playing on Sunday, and then you have to turn around and play again on Thursday. Just kind of elaborate to the folks on air why you felt that that changing the practice schedule was was a was a bad thing. This is what I believe. If you have let them lead the way, you have to stay regimented. Guys have to know where they staying, how they do it. But you know, I understand in the new NFL, you know if you play at night,
you want to probably practice at night. No, just stay on your schedule. And then when the schedule dictates that you break away from it, like a short week. Now you still keep you saying practice time, but maybe practice is shorter. I think a lot of guys getting injured in practice and not ready for games because you just your body can't get acclimated to one way of doing things. People you know, and I'm glad they don't do this. I'm saying this beforehand. But even when we won Super Bowls,
our regiment didn't change. Even when we went on the role a week ahead of time, our regiment didn't change. Get guys going in the right direction with the weight program, with the conditioning and how you practice. You're like how they hear that McCarthy change things in December, lighting the load. It's okay, to lighten the load, but still on Mondays, be here, On Tuesdays be here. Not okay, next week we're gonna be not here Tuesday and Wednesday. We're gonna
be over here Thursday and Friday. We're gonna, you know, keep keep some type of regiment. And that's just now. It's just, Nate. It's ain't where you know, This ain't the way it's supposed to be. It's just the way I feel it should be. I think the one thing, and I agree with you, Nate, because football, and I
think pro sports in general, it's a routine thing. Yeah, and what ends up happening against your body begins to kind of just self regulate, Like even now, like I'm on break, but I'm so I'm so used to getting up every day at five am that even on break where I don't have to say, like, I don't even set alarm, even when I don't have to get up that early to start my day because I have more free time in the day. A body gets those goes. We're getting up at five, bro, I don't care what,
I don't care what's happening after this. We've been getting up at five and so the same thing happens, you know, when you're playing football, a basketball, or baseball or whatever it may be. Your body gets used to knowing all right, I know, I know after this beat down, I'm gonna have this time to recover and then this time to recover, and then it begins to expect those things in the
recovery part. And when you start throwing kind of curveballs in it, especially multiple curveballs in it throughout the year,
it throws it off a little bit. And mentally, you know, guys, I can't really explain it, but just mentally it throws you off because you're used to a certain like like I know my body's gonna feel like on Monday, and I know, like right, Nate, you know what your body's gonna feel like on Monday, borrowing any extra injury, Like I know, I know, mind of my back hurt, I know this ankle gonna be I know that, you know, you know, you know what to expect on Monday, and
then you know what to expect on Tuesday. And he said, all right, I get up ready to go by Wednesday, which is the tough day normally, then I know what I could be on Thursday. I know I know how I'm supposed to feel Friday, Saturday heading into that game on Sunday. Do guys come in on Monday and run? Remember how you used to come in on flush the system and do that, guy, Chris, Do guys do that on a regular basis now where they come in on Thronday,
car think and do some of that. Yeah, just I think, get the body moving, fluster, you know, get the blood flowing stuff like that. All right, So this week that did have Monday off, but I went over there and I did see the players right, um coming out of the Ford Center. That's it's not required, but they can do it now injured players are allowed to have to come in right, what like is the Saturday game cause any because they're so used to Sundays or month again,
thay my recovery time, like my recovery time. Yeah, like your your your body is used to a certain amount of days, a certain amount Again, I got to actually puncture on Monday. I got this on Tuesday, I got this on Wednesday. I see the chiropractor on Thurday, the massus on Friday. Now all that has to be shifted in chains and now your body's like wait, no, today we're apposed to again, we un get this today, not tomorrow, and so again all that all that is is where
you can get a little bit. And maybe it's just in our heads, but such as life. All right, we're gonna go to our first break. When we come back from the break, there will be a significant player according to coach, that will not be playing in this game. One. Do you continue to prepare for the guy who they say may or may not miss or do you turn your attention to focus on the other guy? And how much does it matter? Stay right here, We're hanging with
the boys. We'll be right back. Significant players. I'm Dak Prescott, quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. Blockchain dot com is one of the most trusted ways to buy, sell, and trade crypto. I trust my public school education and I trust my public school college education that I'm gonna get through them, and sometimes sometimes they catch
me up. Cowboys Eagles this Sunday three twenty five at AT and T Stadium. You know what's funny about this whole matchup is coming out to be Earlier in the year, the Philadelphia Eagle took on the Dallas Cowboys in Philadelphia. It was absent of one Dak Prescott, and Philadelphia came in and roth Philadelphia at home, took care of business
and won that football game. And everybody and everything was leading up to this moment Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, we had come to the conclusion that it was Philadelphia and it was Dallas that we're going to be the spearheading this NFC East Division into the playoffs. And Philly just continue to grow and grow and grow and grow
and grow. And they went from being, you know, maybe second in this division to now being not only first in this division, but also kind of up there in the power rinkers across the National Football League as being one of the best teams in the National Football League. And we all said to ourselves, man December twenty fourth,
we cannot wait for that matchup. But between the last time the Cowboys played until this time when the Cowboys played the Philadelphia Eagles, the Eagles have only lost one football game and the Cowboys have kind of been through their up and down situation. Interesting thing about this game, the Philadelphia Eagles will now be without there starting quarterback.
I'm gonna say allegedly not buying it totally. Coach Nick Sirianni came out this morning and said it's unlikely that Chanlon Hurst will play this Saturday verse the Dallas Cowboys. Now according to the injury report, he is still not
ruled out. Yeah. So, if you are Mike McCarthy, if you are Dan quinn, are you preparing your team or your defensive scheme to still stop the style of what you saw earlier this year and what you've seen all this year of what Jalen Hurts does, or are you shifting your attention now to Gardner Minshew who was a decent quarterback. Garden's Menshew is not a regular just backup
guy hopes to kind of keep things together. Gardner Minshew is won games as it started in the National Football League or options C. You're doing a mixture of both. You're preparing for Jalen Hurts all the while while preparing for Gardner Minshew, Nate, I'm preparing for Jalen Hurts. I'm apparing because they're not gonna get away from are They're gonna still do a little bit of who they are in Gardener. They'll they'll let him throw the ball, probably
a little bit more. But they they they have one thing on their mind when they look at the film, not like every team that's walking in here. They got one thing in their mind. They're gonna be like paratroopers running off that plane and running. I'm serious. We you know, I love how you layed up to this. But brother, then before looking at two hundred yards, two hundred yards, one hundred and fifty yards, one hundred and seventy yards, one hundred and ninety two yards, oh and all of
that running. Oh and they gets gold from running. They are coming in here to run that football. Bro kurt As but got do you think the offense would change a lot with the Yeah, they would act, they would act. They would gil Boston Scott the ball a little bit more than other running back. They were probably throating him coming out of the backfield srpos maybe or something like that. And to Nate your interesting point, the Cowboys defense in the last two games have given up thirty one and
a half points. They've allowed teams to be fifty six percent on third down conversion and his defense has only think about it, Wait a second, now, this defense in the last two games has only gotten one sack. And so to your point, Nate, you know they're coming in saying y'all been oh, no, stop, y'all been giving y'all been giving it up in the run game. Y'all tell y'all been giving it up on the third downs. If if you you you got to be almost not You
got to don't watch film. You you can't watch film even in the pasting session when they go you know how you have on defense? They have Okay, the passing steal, this runs ma He's trying to be funny, but how can you ignore it? Yeah? Can this defense stop them? That's a great question and the answer is unknown. Even if they sell out to stop the run, can they stop the run? And see that that's another thing you think Jalen hurts and I don't want to call it limited,
but Garda Minshew through that football now he can throw. Yeah. Like so if you think you're gonna stop the run, you still gotta deal with Devontae Smith and and and and and A J. Browne and and and Queiz Watkins and and So that's another thing. If you're coming back is dallasall yes, excuse me for gott about him coming back. So that that is the problem. This is, this is
the problem that the Philadelphia Eagles present. They did such a great job with with with the team building of this roster to where they have if very little weaknesses offensively and defensively. Because if you think, hey, we're gonna sell out to stop the run, cool, that's fine. Then I'll take dollars goat over over whoever your your linebacker or safety is. I got an elite receiver in AJ Brown who can catch slants, hitches, post deep routes. You
know he can. He has a J. Brown is a little bit of that Death Brian in him, where he's big, strong and physical. Well he can get a slant and do one of them, and he off to the races. We went and got it. We went and got one of the in that draft class, one of the best route runners in devantage Smith. We have to take the top off of a guy in a quiz will howk in So there is no weaknesses when you look across the board for this Philadelphia Eagles team, you're not instilling
a lot of hope. It's just a great whenever is ment garniment you? Is he elite? No? But is he good? Yes? He's never played with a team is with this much talent before? Now we will find can he raised his level of play? And you know the coach is sitting right over that's telling that. I don't know who they quarterback coaches, but the quarterback coach is saying, see right there, that's number level on this quick just throw it to him. Yeah,
you ain't got to be you know. You see that guy that's going on that deep crossing route that Nate Key backs him to do for turping in Dallas. His name Smith, She laid out over the top. He's gonna be running free. Yeah, I'm being honest, bro, that's if you stop now, don't he worry. But because first they got to stop my run. See, people like they did not have to show us anything because they virtually came in and got us early in the game, so they
didn't have to show nothing. That's what I'm telling people. Where were forcing stuff, they ain't forcing nothing. The better teams are you. If you are a good team, you ain't got to force nothing. You just do what it takes. You let the game dictate. And we didn't dictate that. Well, they barely beat us. We had Cooper Rush. Well what they didn't have to do nothing special, and they won
the game. I think for the Cowboys. There's two things that stick out to me from that first meeting, and it was it was it was my topic of discussion when we came back in here after that game. And I know people all people say, well, we didn't have Dak Prescott and so we'll see what happens when we have Dak Prescott and saw himself off and I get it, and there you have a valid, valid um excuse. But there were points in time in that football game. There
were two possessions. And that first football game, I think the one came right before halftime. Well, they ran the ball seven or eight straight times and went down and scored. And then it was another moment in the third quarter where the where the Cowboys were trying to make a serve come back, and it was like, oh, here we go, and and Philly said eleven straight times. We ran the ball eleven straight times and there was nothing that you could do to stop it. I know, people like oh.
And I remember telling people, I said, those two I will not forget because that's playoff man football. That's when I need to impose my will. I'm going to And there was those two drives that has never left my head. And I watched them the other night and I was like, boy, and it was inside, it was outside, it was it was Sanders, it was the quarterback. Now get it, you
won't be playing. So that takes some of that away, but it was it was in that moment that they said, they said eleven when Lane Johnson out and Lan Johnson out by the So yeah, I mean this is going to be a very interesting, interesting game. The Cowboys again have to bring Nope, we have no Hankins, Nope. And now that we was getting still people was getting us. But we we have thought of finding ways to hold them down to three or to get off the field sometime.
But now with those two guys that gonna you you, the way they are set up, you cannot commit to anything. Like on first downs, people can come up, they're coming up. They bring an extra guy in the box. Right what you do on the first down? You can't need that. You can't eat. You can't you you for to put somebody in the box and leave somebody out there on brown. Oh okay, so you don't want to turn them into throwing on first down. So what do you do? You
can't commit. You gotta play straight up and lean somebody away at another corner. If what if na Sean don't do what we need him to do. This kid gotta come play big boy football right now. It ain't no, it ain't no amping up, ramping up. He got to come play football. Maybe it's time to see some of these new guys with Mullins or Sheffield. You think that, man, you know any of these new guys. I think I
think the Cowboys will begin to that reach. It'll begin like, let's just see what they got like at this point in time, it's like, Hey, what else? We know? We know what we got with these guys, and it ain't it working. So let's let's try to go the opposite way. All right, we'll take our last break of the show. We'll come back. We'll talk about some new additions to the Cowboys. We'll t Y Helton get his first chance at action in the Cowboys uniform. How much will he help?
The Cowboys have two seven hundred and fifty yards plus rushers on this football team. Will those get guys? Will those guys be the catalyst for the Cowboys winning this football game? And then we'll give our keys to the game and predictions and we'll get out of here and give Christmas Eve last. Yeah, we had the uber home after that one. All right, man, this heckled. And it's funny because you have a game, and you go into a game and you lose a game because one of the guys who you thought were going to be a piece um drops the balls his arm and it's intercepting. And so guys like t Y Hilton are brought in for
that very reason. Nate, how much time play wise ten fifty twenty five players do you think t Y Hilton gets And will he be will he what what level of the significance will he be to help this offense? If if he's active, I'm not he's gotta he's gotta give me twenty five snaps, and I'm gonna give him six targets because anything else you might have. Just if you're not gonna do it like that, he's just gonna put him because we're still in a prove it league. You know. It's t Y still that dude that can
get down field like he used to. Is he still got these hands? If he's just run out there and do a jet sweep, you ain't did not need for me. Yeah, So if you ain't gonna give him the ball, I'll let him get down that field a couple of times or do something over fifteen yards you got you got other guys can do that. We need to see can he get up He needs twenty five snaps and we need to see the can he get down field? And we gotta give him a chance because if we don't,
you're not they gonna have eight guys up there. They're gonna bring an extra gulf in the box. That's what they're gonna play us for, all right, So Kurt insert t Y Hilton to Nate's point, Hey, get this guy going, Let's get things happening down the field. Well, Dak Prescott, who's who's become the guy who said I'm going to continue to be aggressive despite what is happening to me.
Does Dak feel that level of comfortability that he goes I know, I've thrown eleven interceptions in the last eight games or whatever it may be, So I'm gonna take those shots, t Y Hilton, Or does Dak go back to that conservative Dak and try not to make those turnovers? I think I would rather see him be a little bit more conservative. And you know, the aggression. We've talked about it for the fine line between aggressive and reckless. Yes,
and he's pushed that envelope a little bit. And again, it's a team like this, you can't afford covers and so yeah, I mean to have help. You got to see what he can heal can can bring you. I definitely want to get them involved, but I would like to see them go back to playing for the defense being a little bore. Okay, complimentary. Okay, when you the outside receiver, what's the futhers you you know, you you try to have five yards inside the out of bounds.
You try to be five at least five yards when you're running your route to get a quarterback something to throw to right. Yeah, but most of the time when you have those routes, your numbers plus two, numbers plus two. Yeah, okay, I need your numbers plus two. I need for you to take off, give your quarterbacks from space or if that thing don't hit you, it hits, it hits that
out of bound you. If we don't use this dude, If we don't use this dude, why are they going to back up their corners ain't backed up yet on us. Their safety is a crowd they've set is using this dude is just one or two shots a game. I mean, how you gotta give him something every quarter? You got to give him something every quarter because if if, if you're just gonna keep it like it is, just go to your tight ends more. But how do you balance that with it? Because I mean we've talked, you said
it before. You know, you gotta be complimentary. You gotta be You can't I'm being complimentary. I'm being complimentary because these guys are gonna bring an extra guy up. They're gonna bring the extra guy. You. Now, I don't know which one the safety is there, but they're gonna bring a guy They ain't scatter. Number one thing that's the running game they ain't scatter our passing game because we
ain't stretched the field. That's why I've been saying this little Turpin dude who's good enough for the Pro Bowl, he ain't good enough to stretch out field because people don't believe you can get beat the one on one coverage. Well, you said that boy out there, let him do that, because if you're not gonna do that, if you're gonna be dragging across five and ten yards like everybody else,
you ain't doing nothing. YEP. I think with Dak as well, like Dak has, he's doubled down on this, I'm gonna stay aggressive thing, so he can't come off of it because anything off of at least him vocalizing it. Yeah, anything that comes off of because you didn't you didn't double you didn't triple down on this. It's been a couple of weeks. Now, you didn't set the same thing. I'm gonna continue to be a graph. I'm gonna continue
to aggresive. I'm gonna te to be aggressive. So now if you come out your mouth and you go I'm not gonna be aggressive anymore, they're gonna say, oh, well, so it was a problem. So it was an issue you were being too. So I think Dak has kind of he's almost he stuck his foot all the way up in this I'm gonna be aggressive thing, and now he can't back off of it. So he he can't back off of it verbally. He can't come out to the media and say, you know, I'm gonna be less aggressive.
He has to kind of almost as the young people say, we keep that same minute. It is the only thing we're missing. We got a run game, got some decent tight ends, got a mid range, the short game, the only thing we've been missing all year. That's why this guy o'dale would never go away, because that one big spectacler play. And if this guy can give us that, I mean, I'm talking about five plays out of seventy. You can't draw. You can draw up, that coach, you
can draw. Yeah, just don't draw it up on third down and run when everybody knows that you're going because because you're asking you, because you're implying and asking a coach who has struggled, and drawing things up in a timely fashion in a manner in which it can be conducive and productive to the team's overall outcome. You're asking that dude to draw up stuff. He can do it. Okay, all right, cool, that's why with me we'll say sure, I'm not I'm not gonna argue. I'm not gonna argue.
I'm not gonna argue you. I'm not gonna stop. If you say he can do no, I'm saying no. We are agreed to disagree. That is how two mature adults handled it. Sansor being me. You know, Santa has a naughty list and a nice list. Santa has a can do and cannot do this. I'm just saying that guy that you talk about might be on that on the list, I'm talking about the greatest reindeer of them all. T Why Well, I don't know about that. One guy called him players got a shiny nose, and he won't play
these reindeer games. All right, let's get let's get our keys to the game, let's get our predictions, and let's get our scores in. We got about three minutes. I saw a battery church a church. If you're outside, come in church. I gotta I want to ask him a question from a perspective of from the safety position. Um, but why why while we're is he out there? Okay, So Kirt, give give me your give me your keys to the game, and give me your prediction. Well, they
just can't turn the ball over this time. They can't afford the the lulls, these shutdowns where they just have this go through this gap where everything just won't work. They can't have that against this team. Even if Hurts doesn't play, they're too good everywhere else. So still with that, I they just haven't shown me in the last three weeks that they can play, that they can beat a team like the Eagles. So I think it'll be close,
but I'm not I'm not hopeful. I'm saying, like twenty one Dallas, No, it is close to Green so we know where to do. Wow. Wow, hey man. Out of fifty five sacks, their front seven has forty six of them. Play play music alignment if you want this week, play music alignment, if you want this week, you better get in there and establish yourself and to show people who you are and Bill unit and stay together, you know, and Dak you know, I ain't never had a problem
with your aggressiveness, Jessef said. Other guys have said it's your decision making that's killing us, not your aggressiveness, your decision making. Mm hmm scocore. Oh, cowboys definitely gonna whoop this boy, gonna beat your brakes off, do you, dude? Give us win by three, give us a score twenty one, twenty who Dallas Cowboys? Jerry, You know, I think you all hit on two really good points. You know, of course, you always want to win the turnover battle, like giving
the ball away your lose possessions. You give teams opportunities of short fields, and you give them more opportunities to score points on you. Another great point by you, This whole musical chair things in the offensive line, Peters and and tiring or tiring and Peters, and you're trying to move these things around. You better you better worry about number seventy three over there as well, because he's struggling at times, Tyler Smith, at times he has his moment.
League is starting to get him, you know, he's yeah, he has his moments. And when you go up at on this defensive front for the Eagles, there is no let off. There's Graham, there's Sweats, there's you know, I mean, you name them like Graham eight eight point five Sweat nine five clocks Cocks six, Jordan Davis, Uh, he just playing hard grave, hard Grave ten. Hassan Reddick twelve. Yeah. So when you go you look across that there there there,
there is no breath. Yea, there is no oh no. And they like running games to when you do the off the line and they run games. That is the point where I look at for this Cowboy team. They got to be better. Um, upfront, Philly is just playing at a at a different speed, at a different level right now. The Cowboys are dealing with injury, sickness. Um, there's a lot of questions, the questions defensively, questions at
the receiver position. There's a there's too many question marks from me at this juncture of the year to be late December, there's still so many question marks that Philadelphia just does not have. Gardner Minshew may be the determining factor of how the Cowboys getting there and win this football game because of his inexperience and maybe not being the prototypical person to run this offense or run the
offense in which it's supposed to be run. Mike has said that the Philadelphia Eagles have a system and if Gardner minshew can fit into that system and do just drive that bus. I would told you guys before, a bus driver is important. A bus driver put your kids on. You put your kids in that bus for the kids to get to school. So getting them to school and getting them back home is important. I think Philadelphia just has way too many boxes checked off that the Cowboys
don't at this point in time of the year. I'm gonna go Philadelphia twenty eight Cowboys seventeen. Say what Cowboys? Philadelphia twenty eight Cowboys the team, and then we'll come back. I wanted to talk to Barry Church. YEA, come on, come in, Barry Church. You can come in too, knew if you want. I just want to, I want. I wanted to ask one question. Come get on, I want to. I wanted to ask one question. So the fans from
the defensive level, you played the safety position. What the Cowboys are doing in their secondary They're struggling at that at that left corner right now. They usually play that cover three type of situation with that one guy closer to the box to stop the run. YEA, how can they put something together where they're getting now a safety over there to help against guys like Devantage Smith and and J. Brown and such, but still be able to
support the run game. See, I would say go to that cover four system because your safeties are still kind of close to the line of scrimmage. But being as older secondary so young in some aspects, that Cover four can be difficult to understand because you gotta you gotta switch off routes. You gotta let cats if they get past a certain point, you gotta pass the route off. And that's a hard thing for a young guy to do. So to me, this is all about letting Diggs be
that guy. If Diggs is supposed to be that guy, I'm locking him up and saying, look, you gotta lock this man up. It is your responsibility to make sure you limit a J. Brown because I don't want anybody else on him. I don't want Calvin Joseph, I don't want Bland anybody else on him on a J. Brown up there. So I would have him lock up. You supposed to be that guy, Lock that man up, and then I would shade that other safety over towards my younger,
my younger dB, so Bland and Calvin Joseph. I would shade that safety over that way so you can still keep that box safety in there to disrupt the run. But to me, it only works if Diggs is able to limit a J. Brown. If he can't limit a J. Brown, then the whole sess them go to trash. All right. There you have it. That's that's coming forward. It too, that's coming from the church now when the church say
it is Bible. Amen. Amen, Hey, fellas, appreciate your appreciate Kurt will appreciate you, guys man, and most importantly we appreciate you.
