I got to meet our boy Jay from Rhode Island. Our boy Eric sold me out and didn't want to sit around and wait to meet me. That's fine, we'll
talk about all that later. We had Tank Lawrence was in attendance to the game, watching from a suite. We had Daz in the suite with him. Daz was there. We had just wearing a Seedee Lamb Jersey. Celebrities at the Wazoo. Jason Kidd was there with Dirk in the suite with himmet like it was just Tim the tap man was there. I mean it was insane. Man, you hell of a game. Were you hopping abbing with all those folks? I just observed, Man, I'm just a fly
on the wall, you know what. You know what, I just like it hit me when I came in a little bit earlier while you when we sometimes start to get in onto a player, and it it dawned on me, like during the spring and the summer and all that kind of stuff, like you kind of you get in it with us. But when we getting the building, when we getting the building and you have to start hosting these shows, and these players have to come on their shows. Figure it out. You start. This is why you sit over.

this stuff. So to me, it's not worth me going in on a particular guy Like I don't mind speaking my opinion and saying this guy had a bad game or this position group needs to do better. But I'm not going to go attack a guy personally whenever I have to go, try to get them to do stuff for the organ z because what we what we're able to get as far as content, all comes down to the personal relationships you have with a lot of those guys.
All right, So something that happened on the social media for the Cowboys last night, what was the input that you had on that? Then you guys put out there the beat bid Dallas was that, well that your genius. That was our group, ye group, and there was a group think there was. Everything's a group thing, whether it's not someone's idea or not. It all winds up usually kind of going around the washing machine in the spin cycle, and then it comes out as this idea and usually
everybody touches it right. Nate's over there watching film again. No, no, I'm looking at the Carolina Panthers. I got a short weekend. I'm not as smart as y'all, So y'all can talk about what's in the past and what's gonna happened. So anyway, I'll get to the real quick, because we're gonna lose nat if I don't get a lost quick. I set on my pregame show, if the Cowboys, I said, if Dak Prescott, because I always you always had to tie the quarterback with the team. If Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys wanted to be considered serious playoffs slash Super Bowl contenders, not only do you have to win games like this against the Eagles afar um inferior team. You gotta dominate.
You just can't beat these guys. And then I get it. I understand it is hard to an international football league. But if you want to put yourself and your team, all that that pedestal with the what the what the other one that we talk about. There's games like this that you got to come in, especially gets a division opponent and put the smack down. And I think the Dallas Cowboys did that. They did last night in in offensively and defensively. It was a dominating performance by a
plethora of dudes. And we'll start with Dak. He didn't have a three hundred and forty yard mechanic. Baby, mechanic. Yes, a mechanic. Yes, he just goes to work. He just goes to work. That's wrong, that's wrong. It's a mechanic. Baby. Go ahead on, Jess, you rolling baby dominant and and I don't remember who gave the quote, but it was we are going to definitively and dominantly take what the defense gives us. The Kellen Moore said, yes, he said
that aggressively, take aggressively what the defense gives us. And you saw that on this play last night. We knew what they were gonna be upfront, Like we knew Fletcher Cox, uh big name talking about hard Grave and those guys sweat all those guys up front. We knew that. We knew we were going to get up front, but they came out. They they they they established themselves the scrimmage. They said, okay, you want to you guys want to play back in that too hot? No problem cool. Oh hey,

small critique, I have two small critiques. Offensively, Yes, sir, kell Him Moore, we don't have to get cute like. It's like kell Him will take you. He'll take these gigantic steps in a positive direction and then he'll come a reverse. He'll just go why why why why why do a reverse? Why set dak up to do a five step of step dropping the end zone and you know that you really can't hold up like that up front. Don't do that, like, just don't do stuff where you
just don't. Don't naked boot dak to four RPO run on the outside with nobody had to, don't do certain stuff like that. Just just don't do that, like literally, if you're gonna eliminate those mental farts throughout the game, he would be my height, my offensive coach of the year thus far, at least one of them. And then defensively, I mean we're not giving enough flowers and enough praiser
of Dan Quinn. What he's what he's been able to do into him, what he has been able to do with I mean, you had you what six string guys out there? You you Yeah, you can. You can tell a coach, you can tell the general manager, the player personnel guy, as a defensive coordinator, this is how I'm gonna use each guy. We talked to Quinn and I told y as we were talking to Quinn and training camp, he said this, I'm gonna use this guy like this. Then I'm gonna use guys. I said, what coach you're
giving us? No, I don't care. This is what we have to do. He's I told the owner. I told the general manager, which is really Stephen. This is why if you give me this guy, this is what I'm using for. Every guy has a role and they play that role much like Belichick us. You have a role and don't get outside of your role or you'll be on this bench. And each guy plays within his role. Now need for boh Hannah to get a little bit lord. This ain't this ain't the sec bro. You gotta get
a little lord. And they scoop you up out of there a couple of times, but you gotta get a little lord. And so this is what these guys are doing. And they said this kid will play defensive in in again, and we're like, nah, you can't just isolate him. Well, he gotta have sack. He disrupted some things I saw where he came down with Randy Gregory forced something and he sat down in there on the opposite side. Gotta hit for a loss. I still would like to see
more of a linebacker. But they are buying into what this guy is saying. They are believing and we got so many defensive backs, is it really the issue now? It is defensive back because I don't know who's the starter, who's the big Nickel to love Nickel, doesn't matter that it's obviously Quinn is maybe the offseason pick up of the year or whatever. But they've added so many new guys, you know, like curses coming out of now he's becoming a leader mcause he on the back end. Yeah, these
guys are stepping up and really making an impact. Plus the rookies, I mean, ohso had one of them is doing his thing. I mean, second year man Digs is becoming a shutdown guy. I mean, it's amazing how fast they've kind of now, that's the Eagles, so maybe can't jump the gun that they really like. If they didn't come out and dob, I'd be like, come on, it's the Eagle, you know. You know my favorite part about the game is that is that it's two twofold, that
it's the Eagles. But you beat the hell out of right twenty points and the Old Cowboys. Whenever the Fletcher Cox, you boy can still play it thirty, by the way, you whenever he when he stripped Sack right in his chest scored the Old Cowboys, it had been like, oh, the momentum would have shifted and it would have been a dogfight all the way to the end. These guys
don't know they're supposed to lose this game. These guys think, Okay, we're still gonna go beat the hell out of them like that adn't go Like I think you, You're starting to see a bunch of young guys, especially on defense, that don't know that you traditionally would lose those type of games. Well, like you talked about, I mean, there
was the culture of maybe Garrett. Now you've got all these guys that don't know that, right, you know, they got their own culture they're building so you can say it, you can see it on the field. And the long play of this thing is, which is going to be phenomenal, is we're doing this with a bunch of backups and back up to the backups, Like we're still waiting for Kelvin Joseph, We're still waiting for Nashwan, Right, We're still waiting you know what name I was gonna say, we
ain't talking about. We're still waiting for Tristan Hill. Like there are a number of guys if take Lawrence comes back at some point in time this year, think about the long play of this is. Now I have gotten defensive inexperience to my parsons. Osa has gotten reps. Gholston has gotten some of his first reps. I mean, now you add Randy Gregory to the mix, Bradley and Nile come back from from COVID, and he'll get more in
the mix. I've limited my play for Jalen and and Layton in some situations, so it's like I don't have to keep them out there for fifty snaps and allow those blunders to happen more often. They can play twenty five thirty and have less mental breakdowns. When Donovan Wilson comes back, now you'll have Kauzie, Donovan Wilson, and Curse. So you'll and Trayvon Diggs is And I said this last night on my show. I was wrong because last year I said, when he got hurt, I said, what
we had nothing to play for. Let him just get one hundred percent healthy going to the offseason and then start from there. But they brought him back and he played that tale end of the season and he got those valuable reps. And he has come into this year a different dude. Like he's coming to this year with the level of a dog. He has become a dog and last night, what I loved about it was he had that arrogance to bottom was like, mother, I'm gonna do what I want to you like I'm going to
I'm for you. I'm gonna get in your face, I'm gonna step over you. I'm gonna talk trash to the quarterback like. And that's the kind of arrogance, confidence, cockiness I want from my corner. I'm sorry, I want that from my corner to make to let me know I don't kill Mike Evans. I'm on you, uh kid, Nolan, I'm on you. DeVante Smith, my band, my brother, I'm
on you. And if you can continue that trend, and it always helps when you add those interceptions to it, you get a pick six that confidences builds and builds and the next quarter and that's quarterback going over there, only the second Dallas Cowboy ever to have an interception in the first three games of a season. I mean, I mean you if you watched Aaron Rodgers the other night, you still got to say he's probably the best. I mean, he ran off like he dropped the mic the other night, didn't he spike the ball? Was like, let's go, y'all screwed up? I mean, he's
got to still be dropped. But with the way that Dak is not only managing the game, the way that he's reading the field, the way that he's making all the throws, like I don't need that, I don't need that. I was waiting yeah yeah, and changing the plays, and like, is he becoming is he Is he becoming that dude or is he that dude? We're just witnessing it. I think he's there. I mean we've we've been talking about, you know, in the past that Dak hadn't quite reached
that level. And quarterbacks, I mean, you know better than I do. Quarterbacks have that that kind of growing period where they have the talent, but they may not have mentally the knowledge of the game and you know, the system and all that. You have to kind of learn what to do, and sooner or later, you hope the mental part reaches the physical, you know, matches up at the physical part. I think he's if he's not there,
he's real close. I think he's getting to that point where he, yes, he is one of the best quarterbacks. He's taking what they give him, he's managing the game. I think he's he's definitely a leader. So I think he's there. I need to playoff victories and then he becomes that guy, Yes, sir, I need to playoff victories. He's taking commandered offense because he told, hey, I don't need that set. I already got to play in my mind,
the tight end flick out first. He got that. That's what I've been begging Jesse for the last two years. I see that now. But two playoff victories and Jesse you smiling like a like a proud like a proud brother over there. I mean, but still, you think what he's doing now in the regular season, he's he's on another level. He's grown count right, you know what, y'all not not to this level this before when you you
get into that upper echel line with those dudes. Yeah, when you take your team like, this is fun, right, this is enjoyable. We like we like the evolution, We like where he's where he's going. down the fields, Dak Prescott do and complete before. He had some throws last night that was just you know, big time time. But yeah, I mean, Nate said it best, man. You want to you want to get put in that conversation. You don't get put in that conversation by regular season success. Yes, he is, he has evolved and he's in the conversation. But to have a seat at that table with those elites, you gotta do it when it matters. I totally agree with you, guys. I mean, I agree, you gotta win
in the playoffs. But I think he's taking that next level. You can't tell Charles Bonker that the championships he won, all the championships he didn't win. You it's too many quarterbacks out there that's doing the regular season thing. Matt Stafford. Yeah, you know. Now Matt Stafford has a chance to say. You know, you don't think he was a Matt Staffords a good quarterback before he was he's a good quarterback. We do somebody elite. He
was saying, tsh great and elite. Now he's with and so now he's elite because he's got better guys around him. All right, Well, and we'll see. That's what you're saying. That's what you're saying. I didn't say that. I say, will see. I'm I'm saying he's a good quarterback. He's always been a good quarterback. But you don't put him in that conversation with those other quarterbacks. Why wow, because
he was home at the end of December. Year in year out, put up all the gaudy numbers you want, forty forty forty five touchdowns, five dollars yard, he did it all. But he never got put in that conversation. Never got you never talked about Matt Stafford being an MVP considered quarterback. I think two different things to me. So so break it down to it. Now we're not saying he's We're not saying quarterbacks have success in the playoffs. They're the elite guys, right, I'm

Yeah, But he's taking Dak has taken a step where on the field, mentally, the game, the management is starting to catch up with what he can do physically right, and so that keeps that keeps him and the only thing that is kept is keeping him at the doorstep because you're right, we're seeing the evolution, we're seeing the growth, we're seeing the command, and we're seeing all those things. But was keeping them out of the VIP section? Was keeping them out of the club with
