The following is a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club Blowing out of the backfield ex flooding down the sidelines. He's Hanging with the Boys, presented by Windstuff where Flavor gets its wings. Now your hosts, Nate Newton, Kurt Daniels, Jesse Holly, and Shannon Gross. Here we are. It is Thursday. Welcome to the Thursday, which is the day before Friday. Jes you keeping score edition of Hanging with the Boys Live from the s WBC
Morgan's living room at Fresco, Texas. Shannon Gross, Nate Newton, Jesse Holly, Kurt Daniels shout out to wing Stop for this poster that I'm going to get some hardware to hang it today, so hopefully tomorrow that will be on my wall and I don't have to do that ridiculousness. At the beginning of the show, Chris bean Man and the board keeping us looking good and sounding good. And Nate Newton has been extra extra extra quiet in our
pregame chat. We don't know why he's scheming. He's scheming something, Nate, Nate, what are you what are you thinking about today? Great job, great job fellas, you got you gotta college. Jason Garrett impression you got a collared shirt on today. I mean, you're looking good, Like, what's going on? Why are you being weird? Why are you being weird? No? No, no, I'm just being quiet. Because yesterday we did a show me and you with broadness and and uh and and
what's my man? Uhrge team old team was George c the Professor. It was just an enjoyable show man to see everybody like we did yesterday, to see everybody just coming to the fold of Nate Newton. You know what I'm saying at the new quarterback just just I'm just I'm just at peace. Okay, did you catch what he said? He said it was such an enjoyable show. So what he basically is saying is he was on this show for three days and finally on the third day that
at night, he was on an enjoyable show this week. Listen, that's all. That's all nonsense. Okay. He showed that every single day, excited to see us, and even if he don't want to be here, they pay him to be here, so he got to show up one way or another. So he can just say whatever he wanted about what other show was enjoyable. This is where it's at. Hey, Jesse, you know what I also told him, I said, you can best rest the show. I'm gonna hustle on this
show and show. You gotta worry about my execution base but all I got. Let go, let's do it. So so many things to get to today. We're gonna do the the What do we do with Cowboys defense? Uh? Cardinals offense? Yeah? There we go that, right, Cowgos defense, defense, you know what we want. Let's go. Let's let get to our subject. There. I was gonna say, you don't want defense. We don't even know. Maybe we just don't even do that. Maybe we just do Cardinals offense the
whole show. Let's get started with. Let's get stared Murray. Let's do it, y'all. Nate, didn't you tell me that you saw him play his first high school game here? Yes? I did. I did, and uh yeah, man, he he a beast. I mean he allegend through over ten thousand yards I think one year at fifty four touchdown. I mean the game's a legend, man. I mean he's up there in the best in the state of Texas. Man with the Drew reasons and all those other guys, the
Earl Campbells. He's all these guys were high school legends and he was one two. He never lost the high school game, Jesse. This dude was nice. Is he more of a threat now running or passing? If you let this kid sit back then and pick you apart throwing and he can do it. And if you let him run, it's definitely over because you don't know what's gonna have him then. So he's very He's very Russell Wilson esque. When he leaves the pocket to throw the ball down
the field. He has that type of ability, mobility, and accuracy when he leaves the pocket rolling either way now, right or left. If he gets outside and break containment and he got some dogs, man, he got he got the He got one of the greatest receivers of all time. In my book, one of my favorites, Liar Fitzgerald. He has Christian Kirk who as a speechter, and then he has probably arguably the best receiver in the game right now and DeAndre oh whoa yeah, yeah denied. Is there
a way to make Murray one dimensional? Is there a way to make him one miss when you pass rush him. You have to come at him in a wall whale, as they would say, And you have to And when you go to tack, don't miss. You rather not tackle him and stay in front of him and make him stop his feet. Then to going and make him move and he'd take off. Then he becomes extra extra dangerous on the head. Yeah, you got him. Make Colin Murray stop his feet. Yeah, when he drops back in the pocket,
he likes to keep his feet moving. And he's the kind of player that you want in the pocket. I'd rather him throw from the pocket because of the height limitations. And he's not as accurate in the pocket from the pocket as he is when he breaks containment and get it's outside of the tackles. But Nate said the exact phrase, the set of words. Stop his feet. If you get his feet stopped, if you make him be flat footed,
then you have a chance to win. If you do not, and he's able to keep them happy feet back then and he's able to move around, old buddy. So is this how the Everson Griffin and DeMarcus the defensive ends? Is it on those everybody? This is all four or five guys. You can't be willing in it this week. You got to be under control. It's only two or three guys in this league that can make you pay
from from that quarterback position. I'm talking about pure runners as Lamar, his kid here, Russell and yes, Aaron Rodgers. They will make you pay for uneven pass Russian? How does he get out of your lane? Yeah? How does he affect? How does he affected the deep line? I know you said. Does it make them hesitate a little bit and not fire off the ball as much because they're afraid of over pursuing or penetrating too deep and
then losing containment. Does it make you slow down a little bit as a defensive line, our defensive ends, it makes them maybe slow down and stay in their lanes. Uh, be more disciplined in their lanes out the inside, guys, just do what you've been doing. Nothing, No, they no, this is pushed forward, Jesse. You're gonna stop with that negative ism. That's well, what have they done with that?
Maybe I'm gonna send you the film that I watched, and you send me the film that you watch, and then maybe we see something different on some of this. Stop get you some of this, Okay? But here's here's a thing about Colin Murray and and and meates absolutely right. Our defensive ends. You hear it all the time. You got to be able to keep your leverage. You can't. This is not the game or the quarterback to play
hero ball in. This is not the quarterback that you want to go and be all doing your thing and when you're supposed to be outside, you try to be the guy inside. This is not that game. This is not that game. I promise you there will be other games in the season and other quarterbacks in the season that you will be able to break discipline and to break protocol and to do all those things and still have success Monday night against that jitterbug. You don't want
to do it. You cannot do it because he is going to make you look back at and when he does that again. He's not throwing to some jags. He ain't throwing to some guys who ain't got no skins on the wall. He's thalking. He's thrown into a first ballot Hall of Famer who's probably one of the best route runners in NFL history. He's throwing it to a guy who no matter if you put two guys on him.
He's still open and then he's playing with the speech stir So if these dbs think getting your eyes in the backfield, trying to cheat, trying to do different things like this, you are going to pay. This is not the game for you to go out there and try to be doing your own thing hero ball, you know, diving in when you should be out, being out when you're supposed to be in, not in your lanes, not doing you're supposed to doing. I promise you this is not This is not the quarterback for this. This is
not the team for this. This ain't the head coach from this. And I promise you I don't care what sleep number bed he has. I don't care how clear I visioned view he got. Your boy, Jalen is having trouble sleeping this week. You see, he had a great game plan last week. He went up against the great Grayson Garrett, who doesn't do much shifting and motioning and bunch formations. Jason Garrett is a straight up and down kind of guy. Like a pencil, straight up and down.
We're gonna line up a number two pencil. You gotta bring it to the scant for the scantron and He's gonna line up, straight up and down and come at you. Whoa not coach bro not old Cliffy, Cliff Cliffy gonna motion the motion. He gonna bunch the bunch. He gonna flip and swap. And that is the one thing that has beat the living daylights out of Jayleen Smith all year long. When he has been getting his eyes in the backfield and guys have been moving and shifting, he
has not been able to keep up with that. He has not been able to figure that stuff out just yet. That's why one of the reasons why he had a great game last week because it was right in front of him. There was no there was no if as a butts about it, and he went to the football. You won't have that this week. You will have guys moving, flipping, turning, shaking and doing all other color stuff that they can
do with Cliff Kingsbury at the Helm. A lot of people have questioned, Kingsbury, do you like what he's doing out there? I like his play calling, I like his play designing. I should say his play designing. He's a guy who can get guys open, can run some creative plays. I think they're now starting to get into a little groove. He and Colin Murray. He has a bona fide receiver
right now. I think he is one of those guys where it's going to His style hasn't fully taken over the league yet, but he's being able to create some confusion and they're playing some good football this year. Yeah, I was kind of surprised because he's got kind of this running gun attack. But they're we talked about it some yesterday. Their time of possession is I think they're twenty nine minutes, so I mean it's they're they're doing what I guess the Cowboys need to do and that
they're moving it quick but racking up the time. I tell's right here, man, it's gonna be a very exciting game to watch. Man, this kid is coming home, and if we can get him early, get a pick or something early, you know, when he's before he settled down, because he'll be just a touch punk for this. It's a Monday night coming home to dive. Big twelve championship, three state championships. You know, he'll be a little geek. If we can catch him early and make it make
something bad happen, it'll go a long ways. But if this kids settle down and realize, like okay, back at the crib, just like it back An Allen, it could be a long day, long day, Nate. What do you see in from their offensive line? What kind of not offensive line do they have? Nice? They got they nice? They Sean Coogler is the offensive line coach. I don't
know its history, but these guys are nice. Uh kind of technique sound get on their guys seem to know their assignments and with everything spread out, it ain't a whole lot to read. They can see where most blitzes are coming from. They're pretty good. I mean, they can be beat, but he's gonna but you're gonna have to work them all game long and set them up. You know they got sweezy. They got from from Seattle a few years back. So you know he ain't the great
this guy, but he's strong and he's physical. Here be lumbering right guard, but he does his job. And I just say, legs right here, Shannon, this is another team that the Cowboys can beat. But the Cowboys have to play mistake free every time you get the ball back to Kyla mur excuse me, it could be. It could be a death sentence. I mean because he could score legs hand I mean legs arms he got the receivers running backs are not bad and Kenyan Drake and what's
the other kid name? I can't think of his name. Yeah, they're not bad, man, I mean I chase that much. Yes, they're not bad. They're a good solid Uh seem to be technique sounds, seem to not get a whole lot of bad penalties. So they played with and then the quarterback makes you offen his line look even better. His willingness to get out of trouble and not take not take a loss. And that is what we have to do on other side of the ball too. We can't
take losses. That has hurt Cowboys. Third and long miss third and long. That first down is so key in this game. If we can stay ahead of the chains and I ain't Tibbou just running up in there slamming. You're heading to a wall. But getting that ball going forward, you know, Uh, it's gonna be a nice game. Man. I don't know how to our scoring and how low scoring, but this kid coming in here to show everybody with Texas, Texas,
with Texas been missing the last few years. I have a quick question for you guys, for for Kurt, for Nate, and for Shannon. So reports are and Mike McCarthy said that Layton Vanderesh has been active this week, full participant in practice yesterday, will be again today, and then he'll be getting some hitting in on Friday. Coming into this game, do you go with Layton Vanderesh and Joe Thomas or do you kick Joe Thomas off the field and go
back to Layton Van Dress and Jalen Smith? Or do you stay with Jalen Smith and Joe Thomas and you work lating Van drsh In there sprang way throughout the game. I thought he had a broke collar bone. He does what they're talking about. He might be able to play Monday, but I don't know. I hope they only play him if he's ready. I mean, I ain't for them to
rush him back and then they're losing even longer. But if the trainers ain't gonna go for that, did we know these guys, Yester, they you know it ain't no collar bone. It's just know in the world a linebacker, a middle linebacker who leaves with his upper body all the time. Something ain't write in this picture, and uh they and I promise you they ain't letting him back out on that field. Jim marred him. Got they ain't letting him. If he ain't ready, they ain't letting him.
So maybe some missed something. If he is ready, then they got to play him, don't they. I mean you have to play. Yeah, you have no other Chan and Van dress out, you know, Jess Jesse, you know what is gonna drive me absolutely insane is if he gets on the field and all of a sudden, your linebackers and your secondary start playing like a different team. When you have you know, you lose Sean Lee and we forget how to play defense. You lose Layton vander Esh.
Your defense looks completely different. You know, we've had that, we've seen that, we've read this book before. It's gonna make me lose my mind. If he gets out there and they know they know where to line up, they know assignment football, they they're they're able to not blow coverages. That that is gonna make me lose my mind. I think if he's ready to go, I think you play him in Jalen because I think Jaalen plays very complimentary football.
When Layton is out on the field. When when Jalen's the the guy, I don't think he's quite as good is Layton. And if he's, if he's physically ready to go and can take the snap count, I think you play those two together. I love Joe Thomas. I love what Joe Thomas does, but I think Joe Thomas is a lot better when he has, you know, a few less snaps than what he's been taken. But I would roll out there with jay Len and Layton, and like I said, it's going to make me, it's gonna drive
me nuts. Yes, this looks like a different unit. Jes If you can tell me that the middle of Devon's line it's gonna play on the line of scrimmage, pressing towards the other line of scrimmage, I'll go with Shannon. I go with Shannon. But if you're telling me that it's gonna be the same old pushback thing, what makes you think it's gonna change. What you think it's gonna change in week six and ain't been and ain't it ain't happened in five weeks? Well, many think it's gonna
change in week six or week seven or whatever. He because the player plan, hoping a plan, hoping the plan but so but so soldiers like turn them. If hope is your strategy, I'm gonna tell your butt up every single time. If if hope is your strategy, you went. You went in the world to try. Remember I went three and thirteen and I went to hoping for a better situation, and three he went working for a better situation. What you went for, You went working for a better situation.
You ain't hope for a better situation. You got to work. What's what's that old saying, Nate put you put put your hand, put one hand out and fill it up with hope, and put your other hand out and fill it up with crap. And you tell me which one gets full first. Yes, hope anybody, y'all, I'll tell you what. All right, we started, we started talking about dudude talk.
We gotta take a break. We got to get this thing about all right, we come back, Let's talk a little more Cardinals offense, maybe a little bit of Cowboys defense, and maybe some other stuff that we don't even know about. I lost you guys on our rendezvous, so I didn't know if if y'all were still here or not. So good to know that you're still here, and good to know that the show is still on the air. So let's go to before we get into Larry Fitzgerald and DeAndre Hopkins brought up Kenyan Drake, what's the running game like this year? It's decent, It's decent. I'm just
hoping there open. You know, Levian Bell, they get him, it's gonna go off to charts for this game. It's a lot of teams that can use Levian Bell in his talents. You know, they just wait for him to clear waves. It's gonna be a little bit warm, you know. But anyway, Uh, they got an average, nice run game. It ain't nothing spectacler about it. I mean, I say the tackler about it. It's Murray and he's he's the key to the run game, isn't there? Yes, sir? But uh,
they do hand it off enough to keep you honest. Yeah, they do hand it off enough to keep you honest. Yeah they you know, so not hand it off more as far as when you look at attempts, right, they they they give him the ball as far as his attempts, and it's not, you know, really a lot. But he's six in the league right now with eighty five rushing attempts, So you know they're they're they're gonna run the ball
a little bit with him. You know they're gonna They're gonna give him an opportunity to run the ball again. This is this team is predicated on Kyler Murray. He is the engine that makes this Ferrari run. They use some of the run game and those RPO actions. He passes off that, Uh they want to spread you why and gash you. Uh different? So you gotta stay focused here, brother, you gotta you gotta stay just laughing about some You gotta stay focused. This is why. This is why I
never gonna put us on prime time for this reason. Right, That's why they never gonna give us these prime time out that we be wanting. Man, we gotta we gotta stay professional. But they go, all right, next subject, Man we go. I can't. I can't even finish my I can't even finish my breakdown. They'll run the ball with
Kenyan Drake when they have to. Yes, Okay, Which ship to the real what everybody really wants to know about these receivers, Jesse, You said that Larry Fitzgerald was having a down year, one of the worst years that you've seen him have. What why? Why the drop off? Is the age factor catching up to him? Is he still running great? Routes. Why why are you seeing his production fall off? And he's one hundred and seventy six years old, he's an old man. But the thing about and then
of course you got DeAndre Hopkins. He has forty five receptions. Forty five receptions. You know, the next closest person on his team, how many they have eighteen? Wow, okay, he does. He doesn't drop anything. He does not there getting the ball to DeAndre Hopkins. When you have a player like that, they are feeding, they are forced feeding him the ball. He's forty five catches this year. The next closest guy
has eight. Team that tells you all you need to know why everyone else's productivity is falling around him, because they got a bona five full good blood line boy, bulldog and DeAndre Hopkins he is just he is everything you want in the wide receiver. And even when he's covered, he's open. That's just the kind of guy that they have. And whether it's short, intermediate, or over the top, he can whoop you. And so you know, forty five receptions lead to league in receptions right now, I think he
might even lead the league in yards as well. Uh, that's all it's about. And everybody else feeds off that. So you know, Christian Kirkin, Larry Fitzgerald, they eat off the crumbs left over from from DeAndre Hopkinson. We talk about, you know, shutting down and selling out to shut down to run that kind of thing. Can you sell out to stop him with that? No, at the time, at no time, because you don't know when he's gonna run, and you don't know when he's gonna pass, So at
no time. Because against the jet see rush but nine times for thirty one yards, but he threw for three hundred and eighty yards with sEH rate. I mean he good man one TV one interceptions. If you want to get him, make him throw from the pocket and throw it in the middle of the field. Well, I meant,
can you sell out to stop Hopkins? Can you do whatever you can to take him out out of the game and just okay, you're gonna be you know how you know how a punter when I mean when they got to do punk and the guy lines up outside and they put the two vice guys on them. If you ain't guard him like that, good luck. So what if he did when you line up you gotta play cat and mouse with it. With it with it with the outside linebacker coming underneath and the safety coming over top,
you gotta play cat and mouse. Which one of those guys gonna help that corner, you know, or the guy over the top. But then when he going, if he was, I don't I don't remember seeing him in the slot. But this kid can play from anywhere. But that's that's that's that's the creativity of um of coach coach Cliff Kingsbury is that he lined you up in positions, those bunches, those tight formations, the motions. He lined you UPO site, You're not he's you're You're not gonna just a line.
He's not gonna be in one place. So it's gonna be so hard. You know. It's not like back in the day where you know it was twenty one personnel and you knew that extraceiver was always going to be outside on the ball. It ain't liked that in today's football.
And you have these young innovative minds where he may line up outside the numbers one play, he might line up tighten a bunch, he might go in motion, and and so they're doing different things with all these receivers where it's so tough to get a beat on him.
That even if you break the huddle and you decide we're gonna do it like this, but what happens when he goes in motion That throws the count off, That throws guys off, Guys getting lost, and you know, in the mix, and then at the end of the day, you're still trying to chase this this this, this this little runner in the backfield with the football and Kyler Murray and it's that, it's that that second breakdown where he finds Now and DeAndre Hopkins, where you had him
lockdown over here, but then he broke containment and he kept moving and now he's one on one with your corner, you know, running across the field. It's it's it's a it's a difficult task in today's football when you have an innovative coach to shut one guy down. It's it's tough because they don't line them up in one place every single time. So we faced you know the Rams with with McVeigh and his his schemes. We faced you know, the Falcons with Ryan and Julio Jones. We faced the Seahawks.
You know what they did to us, even even the Browns they had a you know, Landry and Beckham. Is is this the best receiving corps we face this year? Best passing attack we faced this year besides Julio Jones if he wouldn't have been hurt obviously, uh no, but Hulo Jones were hurt, So yeah, this one guy makes that big of a difference. How is that? And DK mint Cafe ain't far behind? Bro? This dude is coming how how how is it going to? How is Diggs
gonna match up against Hopkins? Because this is gonna be a This is gonna be a beast that he hasn't seen yet in his short NFL career? Is he is he gonna get eating the line? Dropping the ball? Right? I can't dropping the right? This dude ain't driving the ball so out? I mean, is this gonna just be a nightmare all day long for for Diggs? Because so far this year, I don't think the Cowboys have traveled
cornerbacks from one to shadow or receivers. So do they change that up this week and do that or do they just stick with the game player they've had. I don't think they got anybody that can do that, right, right? That's the other problem. You can't. Whatever you do, you can't. And maybe you try to sneak a snap or two.
You can't line anyone on our defense. I don't care if it's unless you unless you found a way to give prime Tom Machine and you're gonna line up Deon Sanders on a ten day contract to come out here and defend nineteen nineties Deon Sanders. There's nobody in our defense that you can line up one on one with DeAndre Hopkins and think you're going to have success. It's just impossible. There's nobody. You can't. You can't line up who's the best corner in the league, Stefan Gilmore? You
want to do? Uh? The kid White and Buffalo or Jayalen Ramsey. Those guys struggle with him and these are the top guys. M So what do you think you know nothing against? You know, Treymon Diggs. And I'm not trying to be Debbie Downing, but let's just call facts facts like you can't line up against this guy yet. Yeah, you can't line up? Can't line up? Yeah? Come on now, Shirty got trucked? Yeah? Is that what the shirt was? Nate? Yeah?
Dan say he handed it out two guys, you know, we got ran over, got burned real bad, like big old long shirt and say home he got trucked. So we had a we had a group, a group taxi going around and what was that one of the ESPN shows, Jesse, Yeah, yeah, Lewis Riddick. They yeah, they were talking about Dion had a shirt that if you got truck like uh Josh Norman did by Travi or Derreck, Henry you, Dion made you wear a shirt all week and he couldn't remember
what the shirt said. So Nate, you're saying and said, homie got trucked. Yeah, when he got truck that's so great. You know what what Dion told me. I don't know if he even remember, but you know, I'll tell you like this here, man, we need to have that kind of shirt for this show. If somebody gets run over on this show, you got to wear that shirt the next week on the show. Got that mean That means Chris Bean might have to be in this suit. Yeah,
Chris go out to be in this suit. But I'm gonna tell you like this right here, great question, great questions, fellas, but you know, and Jessea agree with we've already asked too much from from Diggs. He it's only a few corners could come in his league like Ward did for Cleveland a year ago or two years ago and be elite like that. You know, we actually the second round pick. We had great cover skills, but still learning because he didn't play corner his old three years at Bama. So
we're asking them to learn. And I'm glad that he's still psyched and he's still in his mind that he lives for the next play. But fellas over a long NFL season, you don't want to continue to do that. That that I trust me. I've seen a lot of guys go down up under that flame and they just have to float the safety over and that kind of
thing to help me. Yeah, just safety over the top, a linebacker underneath, just something the cotton candy, mister Wallas League working security Bret Brett Brown come out there and help cover him a calf for something, you know, you know, like like you know how you know the NASCAR they come in. Everybody merge on it. Workable books, all right. We tried to stay away from it, but you guys won't stop talking about the defense. Let's let's take our last break and if we have to, I guess we'll
talk about the Cowboys defense when we come back. On the last segment, I'm hanging with the boys, ladies and gentlemen. It's that time again for tailgating with the Auterbox boys. Autterbox the company that builds wildly overproductive phone cases, the one and only, but cases are just the start. Auterbox is the official outfitter of tailgating. If they can keep my phone safe, what can they do for my parking
lot party? Kurt, you got all kinds of pro football focused stats and rankings and all kinds of good stuff. Throw them out there. Man. They got DeMarcus Lawrence listed really high. They've got Jalen
Smith listed pretty high. I want you to throw some of these stats out here in the last ten minutes and let the guys give you some feedback. What you got, man? Is this overall stats or last week stats? This is overall? Actually yeah, Exit, I gotta give a shout out to our man Clarence. He listens all the time. He says, if we got a shirt, it shouldn't say you got chucked it. Said it should say you got snake bit so I like it. Said in mind, get a little, get a little cobra, kailogo on it. I like it.
I like it. There you go. Yeah, I was kind of shocked to see this that. You know, DeMarcus Lawrence, we've given a lot of criticism because he's being banged up. You had a lot of sacks, that sort of thing. But yeah, Pro Football Focus has him as the fourth highest rated defensive edge rusher in the league, which I don't know. Do you guys see that? Do you think he's played that? Well? What are the cri what's the like, what are the criteria, what are they what are they using?
You know, it's just theird on evaluation of it. And they have pasture rush. They have him is one of the best UH brought best ends against the rush, which helps so but they overall they say he's doing a good job. I'm not gonna argue with all of the numbers. Yeah, you know, I'm a kind of win loss guy. I kind of think that when you pay guys like you paid number ninety nine, you know that you should get sacks.
If you look into the stats, you'll see the number ninety nine who he got paid comparable to he's leading the league in sacks. Yeah, y'all know who, number nine, number ninety nine. And Madden he number nine nine, y'all know him. We feel, Yeah, so when you get paid like that, you should be helping your team determine wins and losses. That's what that That is when pro football focused on saying guys that have gotten paid, are they having their teams in the win lost collar rate them?
From that point of view, damn yeah, struggle with I'm with Nate. I'm with Nate on that one. Like numbers say one thing, I pop on the tape, you know, and I look at what the tape says, and sometimes, you know, sometimes numbers can be misleading you. You want to see more impactful stuff on the field from the guy that you pay that kind of money too. And I'm not necessarily talk always talking about getting the sacks, but the sacks are important. You. I don't think I
don't think Tank has been as disruptive. I don't think he's been a part we're saying, man like every week we we we don't talk about him, And that's not that's not that's not the kind of conversation that you want to have with your name at that position. You want your name to be brought up in the conversation of a football game of you know, in the in the right side of it. Yeah, man, look at that pressure. He was almost there, bat it down ball, tackle for loss. Oh,
look at that pressure. We haven't been talking about him like that for the majority of the year. So I'm not listen. I'm not smart enough. Um I went to Carolina and say what you want about our classes and whatnot. Uh, but I don't. I mean, analytics and analytics and numbers are the numbers. But pop on a tape. These bad boys don't lie these things right here, These brown eyes right here, they don't lie. Wow. Man like that Wow,
always trying to find a way to pose someway. Let the women know his eyes a brown all right away? Sell me. I'm always gonna sell me. I'm up for sale. What's up? I keep taking out? Man? Go with Google Rally Rowley Salarly he may can nice chuck a changing here, not say a word a fellow Pam on the serious side, isn't this kind of you know, like Kurt said, a server shows back. You know, I was so pumped for two guys, you know, done Terry and Griffin. You know,
we just knew without a doubt. Okay, the Mark is gonna come in and he gonna be healthy and he gonna Hey, we should be looking at right about round about four or five sacks minimal at this point, with maybe seven or eight hurds and six or seven quarterback hits, you know, along with being one of the better run defenders. But it is not happed. For some reason, it is not happened. And I think, you know, and I'll keep saying this because I just you know, and I understand hope, hope.
Don't do that for most folks, but I hope and pray that the middle of our if the middle of our defense, can fix itself somehow, some way, all of this. We wouldn't even be talking about a lot of this, I promise you. But when the middle of your defense is not holding up, even wrong, Tyrone Crawford is playing better, Antoine Woods is playing better, But we can't depend on these guys for maybe thirty snaps we need for the other part of this rotation. You know, we've lost Trian here,
he was flashing. You know, we got Gallimore in there now, Gallimore need to learn how to go back to who you were Gallimore penetration, getting on the other side of you know, don't sit there and catch no guys that needs you do that. When you get all season of working in the weight room, go go get some folks, Son, go get some folks. Do you think Casey Gallimar you know, um Donovan Wilson's starting now? Do you think I should be moving to these young guys? I would? What's the
different three hundred yards? It's three hundred yards. But if I got some young guys given effort and learning and you can see him, yeah, you know. But when you ain't got no no, I mean you you're doing it with guys and I am not. He possibly gonna be here next year. The officeive line is moving to young guys. They're not the best, but they're getting out. But hey, next year, if you draft a better guy, man, you got a value. But backup in this same don't have
a choice offensive line. They don't have a choice defensive line line. Don't I want to argue that, don't. I don't remember this conversation from a year or two ago where we were debating on hey, do you just go play the young guys, because what's the difference? I said it back again, Yes, sir, right, play these young guys so you don't have to go in a year in
the year out. But it's tough when you when you talk about playing five and six young guys, that's a lot of youth and a lot of hundred yards Russian. Tell me that from a young guy and the old guy. Y'all Russian? Of y'alls Russian? Here? Wait? Wait, what is today? October fifteenth, Thursday fifteenth? It is one thirteen pm in the afternoon. Jesse, Holly does not have an argument? Mark it down being put it on the calendar. Brother, I'm gonna tell you something, Jesse. You know I'm right. You
know what. Listen, brother, what I just say? I have no argument? What is man? Because I'm bounding down to I don't never want you not to have argument, but I don't have one. You made a solid point once in the lifetime. You got a solid point. Now, don't make me find an argument argument I'm giving you. I'm giving you the point. You made a solid Pointachi and just ride off. Hey, Jesse, n Nate Nate just curted you. You know he does that to Kurt all the time.
Kurtlby says the exact same ain't saying that Nate said, And Nate just wants to argue, so he'll argue the same point, but he makes Kurt look like he's not saying the same thing. So you just got curted. He just curted you, man, you got you told me all right, Fellas, This was a hell of a way to end the show. But we gotta go tomorrow. We'll play nice, not nice. We'll talk about keys to the game. I'm will come
up with something crazy that I don't know. I want to get to know y'all better, so I'm gonna come up with some kind of game. Chris Bean, we might in that room yesterday. Man, when when Shannon showed me man boy, he called me all type of nice names. Man, I should did it'd been too lost as that senior person. Man, you were a lot sexier than I thought you used to be. Let I remember, all right, Fellas, Nate, thanks to get used to it, Kurt, nice, great pull over
you got on to day. Jess Hey, cow looking good, keep looking good. Christ Be thanks for keeping us on the air. We'll be back tomorrow. You don't want to miss it. Friday Show, Jess Coach God. She's been a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club
