The following. Here's a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football club, boys flowing out of the backfield, exploding down the sidelines. He's hanging with the boys, presented by Windstuff where flavor gets its wings. Now, your hosts, Nate Newton, Kurt Daniels, Jesse Holly, and Shannon Gross Tuesday. You know what that means? Call us eight eight eight eighty five two two nine seven or tweet us at HWTB.

You're looking live at Tostitos Championship Plaza outside of the Star in Frisco, Texas, and we are inside the SWBC Mortgage studio. But outside it's seventy three degrees and cloudy, feels like seventy three. High of eighty two loading night of seventy three. So this is as cool as it's gonna get. That's weird. SUPs to rain a bunch and Okay, yeah, it's supposed to rain this afternoon, but I ain't raining in here, and it ain't raining on you Dallas Cowboys

because they're winning football games right now. Kurt, before we get into it, Nate's gonna get mad at me if I don't bring this up okay, run through the schedule. Oh okay, run through the schedule of the rest the rest of the NC We're talking about what our NFC East Fox rivals are facing over the next few weeks. Let's see, we'll start with who do you want to start with? I guess Philadelphia. They've got the Buccaneers, the Raiders, Lions, should be an easy one. Then they have the Chargers

and Broncos come well, yes, a slaughter roof. Ain't no easy games in the Giants. They have coming up, the Rams, the Panthers, at the Chiefs. You get beat the Raiders loss by and at the Buccaneers loss. And then Washington. They've got ten City at Green Bay, at Denver, by Tampa Bay at Carolina, Seattle at Raiders. It's just brutal. We should be brutal. What do we got and we have New England, New England by Sea at Minnesota, will squeaked by the Denver at home. We'll beat them Atlanta

at home, and we'll brutalize it. By the time we go face that at Kansa City at Raiders at Saints. I mean, we could kind of have the but that's four games, four and one drink kool aid. Start drinking, man, I don't want to jinx this team. Give us a division. Come on, this team is good. This is a good football team. All right. Before we get to the phone, Stephen Burton has a Twitter question for us, and Chris will pull it up for us. Hey, hey, hold on,

hold on, y'all. Bet to get them shout outside of the way, man, Yeah, abody, get them shout outs out of the wait before we started this, Radley, what you think ahead? Yes, I don't have no right now, Okay and Roll you know a nice suite. I think I pushed the wrong tweet. Oh no, I got I got one. I got one, just as I wanted to twitter. Um to hope Hope. It is turning fifty today. Black don't crack baby. I see you hope, she says, because I can a long time Dallas fan. Get a shout out today.

Today's my fiftieth birthday. Hope the boys can win against win again this weekend DC fold life. Hope, Happy happy birthday from your boys. At Hanging with the Boys, she turned fifty to big five votes. She's looking good. Nate Black Dolt, crack man, Black no crack baby, Are you wait a minute. I got a question because there's a path, there's a pattern here. Have y'all noticed the pattern with Jesse shout outs kind of female a little bit. You're

using this as a platform to better your social life. No, I'm using as a platform better our shot. We got the man. I'm mad as we got the males. Am not mad if you are, But I just women are the most consistent at everything. They will watch a show, they will subscribe, they will like, they will spread the word. And don't nobody believe a woman. Nobody believes someone's take

like a woman's take. So we get women talking about, Hey, did y'all watch it hanging with the boys, didn't We gonna be good in there, y'all, y'all if we're trying to be thinking, if we're trying to be the best, we need everybody. Oh yeah, we need everybody. We got a text yesterday from NBD. You don't know her name, but we were talking about doing a girl's night and she said, you guys can't handle women. WHOA Kirk got

five kids? They can handle women. Tell you that right now, Tell that right now, Chris, I don't know which tweet did I push David do you want that, Okay, I said Stephen Burton. But David, we'll do David. We'll do Stephen right after. So David wants to know. This is a good question. He doesn't care what me and Kurt thinks. He wants to know, Nate and Jesse. My biggest worry is that this team is gonna need good coaching as

the season goes on and the playoffs come around. Do you feel comfortable that McCarthy will be able to provide it when needed? This man is asking about a super Bowl winning coach. If you feel confident if he's gonna be able to provide good coaching, which not only does one of our coaches have a Super Bowl our defensive

coordinator has been to two Super Bowls. We we got the super Bowl thing covered, like, we got that understanding what it is to get into the playoffs, to how to maneuver and navigate through the playoffs, and what it takes you get to a super Bowl. Kellen Moore is the only one, as far as like DC head coaches, who doesn't have really any playoff deep playoff run experience.

But Mike McCarthy has done it, and he's you know, he went to the playoffs almost every year in Green Bay when he was there, and dan Quinn has done it in two locations. So if good, How these coins are calling plays? I am, yeah, I am, And you know I no wasted plays that up until this point. No, the very few wasted plays. That's how I look at my offensive coordinates. I do not need wasted plays. You have too much talent to waste plays with gimmicks and

fooler and fooler head. He's not done that this year. Did you see that quote? I think Jerry Epstein from your City Dad asked dan Quinn about plays they run what they He essentially said that the players don't like to play. If they're not comfortable with they get rid of it. We get rid of it. Don't need to force something the player that's not gonna work. And that tells you the evolution of a coach Like that tells

you a really a good coach. If I'm gonna send you out to battle and you're not as a whole, right, you may not one guy may not really you know, unless as a quarterback, but as a whole, but I send you out to a group and y'all just aren't feeling what we're sending you out there, then you're not going to execute it properly. You're not like you just won't have the heart into it. You're just like, yeah, how much? Then if it don't work, get rid of

bows up in your face. How many time we've all been given an assignment that we really didn't want or didn't feel passionate about it, and we'd probably done it, but we didn't do with the right zest and zeal as we if were something we've really really wanted to be a part of. Right, So, I mean, that's a that's a great that's a great way of being mindful

of what your players. I thought it was interesting that it was a Saturday and they're running through a play and one of the players said, hey, coach, can we run that again? And he's like, no, it's out. If you don't have it now, we're not gonna have it tomorrow. You know, I like it, So David, the answer is yes, yes. But and you know what, you hear this a lot. Think about this. You had you had questionable calls in the game with coach Garrett, right, you have them now

with coach McCarthy. That's every coach around the league. So like it's I think, because this is your team, you pay more attention to it. But every single Sunday, I guarantee you every podcast or on all thirty two NFL teams win or lose. But what about this call? But what about this call? There's not there's not a perfect coach out there. You have maybe sixty sixty five plays on your defense, you maybe have seventy plays on your offense. And some of these plays that the coaches are doing,

it's for setups. Every player ain't every player is designed to be successful, but every players, a lot of players, how many percent fifteen of some of the players are just setups to get something else. Going to see how a certain things gonna react. Now, you always want positive, y'all digital offense, so you always want to have a no game on defense or a possible turnover. But some things,

I'm gonna give you this look. We want to see how you respond to it, because they may be setting up a player or a certain formation, may be setting up a whole group of players to get something down the road. In the fourth quarter. This game ain't just played in the first half, you know, whole four quarters. Shout out to to Poppy p. I call him Poppy Pee. This is my my internet niece. She just turned six months today, Luna Bell. She's just so happy six months

half a year to Luna Bell today. She's just turned and uh and we got Jimmy Latine DJ jam. He also wanted to shout out too. I think he hit me up to so and who was our DJ? Who did the things that DJ sc Yeah? Okay, he's on tour with Nellie right now. Yeah, that's from Yeah Nelly Mo. Yeah, what's up with? What's up with our guy? Um d row row? He wants to come on show. He just camp people in the building, right, So I told him

he could call in. He was, he was down with it, but I'd rather get him in studio since he's here local. All right, one more, one more Twitter question then we'll go to the phones. This one's from Stephen Burton. It's actually a really good question. Between Training Camp and HBO Hard Knocks. What did the people not see about this team that covers them daily? Most wasn't optimistic teams before.

It seems to have shocked all of us. So I guess behind the scenes and being close to the team, he wants to know, did we see anythings that you didn't see in the national media coverage leading up to I guess the season what we saw from the team that might Kurt? Do you want to read the twitter? You guys talk amongst yourself. Yeah? Yeah. The thing the thing that we didn't see that it was do you see Kurt's pace? We didn't. We didn't think Jabril Cox?

Get what? Maybe Jabril Cox will be forcing the issue like it is. And I think by the play he made the other day, by him being on goal line, they're gonna expand him. They're gonna, they gonna, they're gonna give him a little bit more. You know. Was there stuff you saw at camp? Though? I think what he's asking that that you believe one way? Maybe the national media was spending the Jabril Cox man. When I asked when I when when I asked the uh, what's will?

I say? Will what happens if this Jabril Cox shows up? What do y'all do? I mean, I understand you got a bunch of package, but what do y'all do? Well? We got to play him, Nate, Well, guess what? You got a plan? And he's playing you know, as Jesse said, he you know wa et baby w ec you got he got a little bit of that. You know what I'm saying. And you were all you've been on steal ever since Man last year. Right now, I don't think anybody saw that coming. Why are they sticking with his kid?

Why are they sticking with this kid? And you kept saying give him a chance, give him a chance. Because because field coach Phil we have been talking, especially Jess, I have to give you all honors and all the glory on this from bro oh god, he said, development of players, development of players. We oh, these we don't

know how to develop players. Well the last two years, well this last year, coming into this year, that is what you do you get, not steal from, Like why don't we cut this guy to hey, he is our swing tackle. He is a guy that we can put in on extra deals. You seem mc govern doing more. You The only way you get better is to get this action. And these guys are getting this action. Look at Dalton Shawks shots. I mean even though it was an injury that got him in last year, now they

can't get him off the field. When Dak look around, he's like, man, we injury, But this I'm coming to you. You know what I'm saying, you can't get that's the development you've been talking about for how many years? Now years? Years and years and years because this team has always

been one guy gets injured, we fall apart. Were always saying, well, next year in the draft, well next year in the draft, and it's like, wait, we keep drafting these guys and and and they're not finding their ways, like because to me, you didn't develop Michael Parsons. You don't pick a guy in the top ten, top twelve, whatever it is in the league and develop them like those guys are made ready, right, That is that is the meal comes to your door,

just popping in the microwave. Let's go. But there's other guys that you you kind of bring along and you see their development and it may not happen in year one, it may not happen in year two, but that year three you start seeing, okay, now I got a player. But that's how you build a roster, That's how you

build depth. That's how you keep yourself ahead of the proverbial roster chains and not having to always spend so much money in the free agency and you know, you know, sell the farm to get a draft pick because you got a team full of guys that you trust, that you believe in, that you developed. Now you only got to do small little pieces here and there to complete the bigger picture instead of doing this wholesale of buying guys to come in to help your team. All right,

let's take our first break when we come back. Phone calls a D five five two two nine seven. You're listening to the most search podcast on the Dallas Cowboys podcast network. the people. And speaking of the people, let's go to the phones. Who we got on the phone today, Chris? We got Darius and California. Hey, what's coast? What's going on? Daris? Living the dream? Living the dream here in northern California? All right, cool? What's on you? By man? Well? First, hey, I want to thank you guys. First of all, I'm a surviving burn victim Greece. Us is three months old. I've been a cowboy every shing then I saw a star grabbed for it. I wasn't supposed to live through

the night, but here I am. Never give up on the star. Come on, now, that's what I'm talking about, baby, sir, that's sir. Thank you for listening. Yeah, thank you for giving us insleration and some meat and gravy on the subject. And Nate, you make me hungry every time I hear you man. I keep a bowl of grits nearby. Hear you man, put some cheese over. My question is mister Cox your bills? Hey, I've been waiting on him and waiting on him even you know he's from LSU, so

he's got some kind of morals to him. Now, how does he fit in our big league package? Because like he's an addition. Um, does he fit in with our nickels or does he fit in with the four to three base better? Well, they've had him on gold line. They're breaking him in on special teams and gold line. And that's the important part. When you get out in that rid zone, it you down there and gold and gold line. They got to believe you. You know what you're doing in it because that's a hot situation. So

I don't know how they will expand it. But the kid can run. He can flat out run, so his covery skills normally young guys got to work on that coming in, but he seemed to be all right with me. They just got to easy him in and give him little bit more each week, a little bit more, and by the end of the year, let's see where he's at. But I don't know what the packages they have. I have to go to the coach and say, what besides gold line do you have for this kid in what

you for seeing him to be. We've been playing like a lot of big nickel using the safety. Yeah, he's a guy that could another guy with like you said, size and speed that could maybe feel that. Yeah, he's gonna be in that rotation. He's gonna be in that rotation. And to Nate's point, just give him a little bit

more each and every week. You know, I suspect that there will be some more assignments for him coming up in this New England game this weekend, but just not you know, you don't have to overload them because you have Keano, you have later this common man playing. Um, so you don't have to like, hey, throw them to the wolves, right, you can you can say, all right, cool, we're gonna adk. You know, you did four snaps last week.

We gonna give about ten to twelve this week, and then we'll give you fifteen to next week, and then the next week you may not have none. Because I'm telling you something, Layton. It's coming back to that guy. We knew. I'm telling you that. Man. Maybe I'm looking at the film wrong, but he's a little more aggressive. He's a little bit more quicker to the ball. And I'm telling you something about that. But that pond who to your mind. I'm telling you, see, I like that

competition brings out the best in all of us. Man. Let's say competition breeds excellence. Yeah. Man, So, but I keep saying this, and I'm gonna continue to say this all throughout the year. It is contagious. Not the pink guy, but that's contagious as well. We won't talk about that. Do not have I just you know, I do not put my seventh position to have that. Okay, so you say no to the groceries, brush stop, Okay, But on the competition level. Wait, man, we said we were not

going to talk about but he did that. That man, you try to drive a man all sides. That's what he doesn't. That's what he does. Everyone else run yeah, everything, man, pick guy brought up a soft subject for young um. But it's contagious when you see the way guys are out there bawling on defense and how they're getting the praise and the accolades, and you know, Treyvlon Diggs, everyone's talking about it, and the defense has become more of

a sustained asset than a overwhelming liability. You want to be a part of that. You want in and you're like shoot and and and and make no mistakes about it. When you see your boy go and then you pick up your fifth year, you're doing all you can to keep Jabrille Cox off the field. And if that means I gotta go a little bit harder, study a little bit more, whatever that is that brings out that fire in you, so be it. But it's it's a contagious thing. Man.

When everything around you was going well, you want to be a part of it. You saw your boy get get getting let go, and you know that they got they lining up Jabrill Cox to one day possibly take you off the field. So you gotta make it very very hard for Will McClay and crew to do that. Thank you for the call. Who was at Darius setting Darius Northern California? All right? Thank you? Who we got now, Chris,

we got Jimmy and Boston. Jimmy and Boston. Listen. I have to tell you I'm a first time caller, but I listened to your show religiously. Wicked, Nate, Kurt, Jesse, Shannon. You guys are the best number one up in the lifelong Coboys friend since I was eight years old. Even though living out here New England, I got the Cowboys start tattooed to me. I'm telling you right now, Cowboys come to Boston, New England, Clarksborough. They bring their a game.

They're going to kick their ass, all right. I like it. They need to come and make a statement. They haven't won in New England in a very long time. Thank you, bro. Come on now, they need to come in and make a statement. And um, and you guys are the best. Love y'all. Where are you gonna be watching the game? No, I'm not. Actually my goal eventually is to come to UH, to Dallas, UH and to watch the Cowboys in their home stadium. So that's on my bucket list. Well, hopefully

you can get here soon. Man, thanks for the call. That's thank you guys. Keep up the great work. Yes, Sarah, thank you all right bye? You know what I think? I like? Wow? We I like taking calls on the show makes me feel good about myself. Accent well that too, oh sorry, but just you know, people hearing people love us like, you know, after we get bashed internally for every other show, Derek likes to point out every week you're still number two in the ranking, and then everybody

comes in here after us talking trash. It just feels good. It's no people care. It's something to when a person said number one in your heart and see we can be number two right now. But I know what Derek feels in his heart. Yeah, yeah, wither hey. But let me say this right, that's why that's why they keep sabotaging us on you know, all across the all across the board. Is that man, I saw that Yeah first first it was will now as Apple Like, I don't

know what's going on that because those outload automatically. So it's something with the stream. We gotta figure that out. Will's got to look in at that. You got an eye on you, Derek. We we see you see us, You see us, you see us coming. Don't trying to sabotage us. Dat. I want to send a shout out to Anthony Brown, cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys. Man, keep doing what you're doing, Bro, because I'm sitting there looking at Anthony Brown and turning your brown against against these

uh Patriots and he burning them up. So you don't want that was just a bad game for you, bro, against a great player. I'm gonna tell you something, and that is where the great coaches are. Good coaching never waivered. And I'm talking about our Dieven's a coordinator. Never waivered. You know. I may have wavered a little bit. A few guys outside of the room may waver. You never waiver.

But Anthony Brown, Anthony Brown. But the good coaches keep working on your technique, keep pushing you, competition, keep pushing you, you know. And I told y'all at the beginning of y'all say number eighty one for the Bucks, gonna burn up a lot of folks. He did it last week, he did it week before. But anyway, I just want to send us out out of Anthony Brown. Keep keep rocking, yeah, real quick, before we go back. Still don't like him, Blake Jarring coming, God, come on now. I love you, Dalton,

I love He's the toughest dude man Matt. Every week mattin would seek him out. That is, you know what. Some dudes don't know how to tackle, get tackled. Some dudes don't know how to fall like he one of them dudes. Like he gets hit. There's no turn to the side and shoulder roll. It's it's full on contact. Before we go back to the phones, go back to Twitter real quick. Chris Zay from Twitter. He wants to know would you make a trade in any position group

moving forward? Or you satisfied with the team we have going into the playoffs. Two things. One, this man's already got us in the playoffs. Like the way you think too, Why do fans always wanted Jack with stuff? You got a good young group of guys that you are developing. Why do you want to go get somebody? Will says, They're always looking, they're always shopping, They're always seeing what might be out there, all right, But what position group

needs help? Right now? I don't think tell me no, no, Kurt, answer the question what position group needs help? What position group needs help? Yeah? Who would you go? For? Depth? I just don't think you can get an impact player in here without giving up an impact player. So I wouldn't do anything like that. But is there a position group that needs needs help? I always need more depth. I mean, you're gonna add to the dodging the question,

the quarnerbadging the question which position group needs help? Who would you Why would you go trade? I just said I wouldn't see injury people that's injured is gonna give us what we need? Yeah? So hopefully, Yeah, yeah they are they gonna I'm gonna tell you something. That thing we just talked about two seconds of goal that's gonna make them coming in and get it done. Bro out you can you want about Anthony Brown. I don't trust Anthony Brown. That gets good players and good quarterbacks. And

we see the combination. Okay, but what but what team? But what team? What? What team is gonna send up under these two dudes? Man, I don't trust so pound for pound to take digs out. They got a better secondary than us. I'm talking about this J. J. JACKSONID. Yeah, yeah, but why are they getting d up by this dude? Why they're getting ed up by number eighty one? They're getting d up r killing them. So it don't matter. Some players are just like that. I'm serious, you know that.

But you just said about that. But to curse point, if there was a situation where you can go, you can go add another impact player, Gilmore has gone. I didn't want him anyway. I'm just saying I wanted him. I wanted him. You see, if you're looking to impact your team and to better your team, better your team, if you we need some depth, where at where do you need to kurt where you're talking about cornerback? Gilmore

was there? Give up the sixth round pick, get him in here, n him for one year, let him cover the world we got look at him. Go dig my thing with Gilmore and we didn't get into the that. When it came to Gilmore, my biggest thing for him was I don't want more players coming off injury. And it would have taken him another four or five games to get kind of in play. But when you play one on one, it doesn't matter when he comes back. He's ready. He went on one ready. And so now

what did that do for Trayvon Dick? He won on one ready. We're shutting down the world, baby down the world. They're gonna have two traveling corners. You're gonna have one traveling That's what I'm saying. Hey, you you over here, you over here. Yeah, but he's the boom was man. But Gilmore was best at when he was the traveling corner, you know, with the best brother. That's what we got. Quinn. We got Quinn. We got a break. Let's take a break.

Do you want you want to better the team? Get players that's gonna shake the team him up and make it better. Don't go ahead and getting them are back end players eight eight five five two. That's get pink as right back on. Hang with a boy in the back end players. Hey cowboys fans, ready to spice up your next watch party, Bring yokiero guacomole and be the

game day hero. I shout of hope earlier. Howard, did you yeah? Cool? All right? Man? That it? Yes, sir? Can I finish my sentence? I apologize up the gun. Sorry, I didn't mean. Anytime you talk on the show, it's a bonus. I'm gladly step aside to let you talk. Well, it doesn't sound like

you're really happy about this. Is really out to enthusiastic, just giving Kurt. Yes, I can't say yeah, we know. I've already had a cuss word dropped on the show you started yesterday. That Kurs word came in out yesterday. That was twice. Yeah, it was one of today. I missed it. It was just it was asked. I don't think that's a cuss word. What are the words you can't say on here? Chris? Do you have a look?

He could say We're on the internet, so I can really say anything, right, you pretty much saying no, I don't do that. Don't do that. We're trying to keep it more family on end. Right, Well, we are a friend. We got a kid calling yesterday, Jacob, Jacob and his son build it right. You know what? You know what, I don't believe that was a kid. I believe that was Chris for your kid. I really sound all is your baby not Chris? He is five? Yeah, that was it.

That was Chris. That was Chris boy Man. First of all, that was the dad that dialed. And Susie heard me tell you that's one of your boys. Yeah, at like a dumb dad. At like a dumb dad talk to him. That's awesome. All right, Chris. We got on the phone. We got Bruce in Illinois. Bruce, Bruce, Bruce whatever, Bruce. What's going on? Fellows? What's happening? We're good man? How you all right? Hey, Jesse, I do not trust Anthony Brown.

That's Kurt, I mean Shannon and uh Nathan boy get on this show, Bruce, this show bird get bunked up too much, man, and I just don't trust him. But my question is and Jesse, you may be able to answer this the best because you know the Belichicks. What do you think they're going to try to take away all one game or uh pass game to try to tell because I know Belichick not gonna just stand by and try. Great question up, That is a great question because that go ahead. And even though you don't agree

with me and Nate, that's okay. Everybody's in time of their opinion. Thank you for Colin who got that pick six to close it out. The second game was over. You over stop it. You want the game to be over the game and over to a zeros. Yeah, he helped it close a lot faster. But that's a great question about Bruce because you heard Nate say Belichick's gonna shut one of them down. It's gonna be it's gonna

be upfront. And because just thinking about Bill Belichick where he's come from, you understand the importance of the line of scrimmage. And if I can dominate or at least win the line of scrimmage more often than not, I give him myself a chance because the percentage when you got Tony Pollard and Zeke both averaging over five yards to carry the percentage of them running the football at that clip hurts me far greater than the percentage of

passes being completed down the field. If I can control the line of scrimmage, now I and push guys back, I can disrupt timing. I can get some sacks, I can get some hurries, I can get some pressures, and then that will affect the backside of the defense in the passing game. Bill has always had a decent secondary. That's where he puts all his money at. That's where we put some of his best players at. They're going

to have a decent back end. So for me, I just think he's gonna say, you know what, we're going to commit to stop in this run. We're going to commit to controlling the line of scrimmage and we're gonna try to make Dak as uncomfortable as we possibly can. Now will that work, we don't know, But I think that's going to be the thing that he tries initially to do and saying we're gonna live with whatever happens

on the back end. I think that we can cover or whatever on the back end, or create some kind of zones or some some of the schemes or whatever on the back end to mitigate some of the big player that they may get in the passing game. But what I can't do is allow Zeke to be the dominating force upfront and allow Tony Pollard to continue average almost six yards to carry and be the thunder and lightning combination. So I think control a line of scrimmage and then the back. I take that all day long.

Give me, give me, give me the way Dak's playing. Shut Zeke down, and give me Dak in a shootout against Mac Jones. Give me that. I'm I'm gonna tell you something. It's gonna be a nice game. I think it's gonna be. I think it's gonna be tight. Especially we're gonna try to break this thing. What's the weather gonna be like up there, Kurt, they're trying to They have a home losing streak. I think Kurt alluded to that, and they're gonna try to break this home losing streak.

What better team didn't do it against America's team? What better team to say, you know, to get your your troops going. You know, I don't think coach coach Beli check good speeches or he let his work week work do the work for him. Yeah, he's not the raw Ross Scott. That's gonna be okay. Yeah, he let his week's work c Jimmy was good at that too. Now some teams he knew that. Okay, just sell or something because they already fired up. But the week's work normal

to be. You put it in the work. Lady transferred to the field. What's the weather over there, Kirk, supposed to be sixty seven motion Sunday, nineteen percent chance of rain. That's wrap up, We wrap up weather. That man up a little windy because start in the daylight because it'll be a four twenty five kick there and then it'll end up being chilly that night a little bit. And they have that stadium where the wind comes that it'll swirl around them, all right. Chris who we got on

the phone. We got Eli and Corpus Christy Eli, what's up hey, guys. First of all, Um, Man, I love the show. There's no I don't want to sound like a kiss butt or whatever. Not tell the true man. This is the greatest show. Y'all's chemistry is everybody else has a good chemistry, but y'all just together. Man. I love it, Um, I love that they was talking about Judeans, Like, that's who worried me, Like six and a half of fact,

I don't seeing no games from them yet. Um. I'm gonna go back and see how he got his sax? Were they like in the middle? Do they move him around? Um? And then my big question is the one I can't seem to is there all twenty two because I want to see who is burning this Like who who? Who did Darius Tony byrne? It can't be Anthony Brown every time? And I know it's hard to tell, but who are these who? Who are they? Who was on defense at

the time that we're getting burned by these players? Obviously not Digs And it can't be Brown all the time. It actually was Darius was He was an equal opportunity employer as well. That one hundred and eighty nine was spread around and a lot of it came from number seven. We praise we played Tray because he got the interceptions and he had some plays early in that game. But make no mistake about it, if there's a if there's a type of player that gives Digs trouble, thank you

for the call. And there's the player that gives dig trouble. It's the it's that kind of player. It's a it's a short shifty you know, because he's a taller guy. And anytime you didn't with the taller guy, they just don't. They want hands on and when they can't, they want to. They'll run with you, they'll want to put hands on you. But when you got all that sudden, quick twitch, fast muscle movement, that is always a problem for the taller, tight corners. And so yeah, because Darius Tony, he was

he was serving up a little bit of everybody. If if he want to finish yourself off, I should do this in practice sometime when I want to finish off. Yeah, and uh wow, I would get I would get Charles Haley because I can handle the bull rush guy, the one with the guy with the one quick step. I could always handle them guys. But them guy with the multiple moves, I would get Charles Haley. And if I'm if I'm Diggs, I'm like, you know what CD I mean, sho you know what, Amari, I need to get a

little bit of you. If he was healthy, I need I need you know, you need to work with me because Amar them five or six steps on Amar is unreal. You go back and look at this some of the even with a bad ham, he working dudes, and I would work with him if that's perfect. That's a perfect example. Who we got Chris, we got Eric in North Carolina? What's that man cooling? Guys cooling on my way to the dinner. Man, it's not fun for me that what happen when you come to a game and fall. You

didn't tell us about that? How do you do? But I'm gonna be real quick. I'm gonna be quick. First of all, Uh, Jesse, the world is going on our tarys right there. Man, that's just like got the tchuckle mister high with these guys. You know, I'm just sometimes so frustrated to working on with those guys. Basketball seasons around the corner. Yeah, late night, late night, late night is Wednesday, So let's focus on that. Yeah, we're playing on But my question, I'm gonna pick you a next game, Jesse.

It seems like we're playing sound couldn't literally, which is leading to some of these winds a better place? How much um credit should we give our research because this is coaches like our hairs A Thurday and Joe Finnel, then how much credit to these guys can for this tournament because to me, the techniques and things aren't. The play is different times that the coaching. I just want to put yall brain on that Cowboys for life. And I talked to y'all boys later. Yeah sure man, all right, man,

tell how you shook your teeth losing? No, the biggest thing, but that is practice. Yeah, last year and this is so critically important when we dealt with that COVID year last year and there were so many restrictions and you couldn't be here, you couldn't have meetings, you couldn't have practice. That is such an important factor in building players, teams, schemes, all of that. Most coaches, I don't care how technically

advanced you are. Most coaches and you hear me Nick said, they just are better when they can put their hands on you, when I can physically say you think. No, hey, y'all got spre career. Here, here you go. Next, we're gonna go, We're gonna we're gonna go to Twitter because because okay, all right, here we go. We got we got someone who's been trying to call for an hour. We got Denise and Maryland. Yeah, please don't mean about the mom. What's up? What's up to these ladies? What

I'm so excited about. My husband is a Washington football fan, and so hey, I've been killing him this year, righte Hey, hey telling me look at that schedule and see who they got to play. You're just gonna be some more happiness. Yes, they don't want to see us, so I know that. So Cowboys fans here in the Washington, DC area, we have a great time during football season. I wrote a lot of things down I wanted to say, but I

know I gotta go through it real quick. So I think that we're not afraid of anybody on the schedule. I think that m dak is so cool about it, and every time someone challenges him, he is up for the challenge. I think we're feeding off of each other's energy and it is next man up mentality. But I think they're ready for it and it makes them compete harder. And so I'm just trying to get everything out. We

last thing Trayvon Dick. So he's from this area, and my husband and his mom and her shide of the family that aunts and uncles they grew up across the street for one another. So I cheer for him a lot. I call him my nephew, even though she doesn't know me. But what you guys think about maybe lining him up in a game as a receiver. And now Chris got to hang up on you. You were doing so well.

I mean your questions were phenomenal. You would get into the point and then you did that, and I was get ready to ask you, to ask you, nephew, how he got the pain guy? But then you did. You got right to the end, and I thought you would get ready to like, but you know what need dolls, somebody laying your disamount. Somebody on Twitter hands up sending the same question. So what do you think about it? Trey Bardings is not playing receiver. Get it. Let's get

it out of our minds, out of our energy. We got eight thousand great receivers. Yeah he taking off the fame. No, no, no, no, we got eight thousand great receivers. How would you do thirty fourteen? Guy? Be like really and not even that. I know everyone's gonna say, well, Dion did it. At one point in time, one's too. The Cowboys were down at receivers when they gave Dion a shot at playing

a little bit. We need they needed some help. It wasn't like they had in the Maori Cooper and the CD Lamb and the Noah Brown and Cedric Wilson and and that all that kind of stuff. So and we don't forgot about Michael Gallup, Michael Galla about gall like. I know, it's a sexy thing to say. It's it's a it's a fun topic to talk about. It ain't gonna happen. It should never happen. I don't care if we if we sixteen and one, if we got the division locked up, I don't care none of that. You'll

finally be right. Leave him over there at at cornerback and let him do what he does over Denise. Thank you, Denise, Kurt, we gotta go. That an't good seeing that that was it underneath. Yes, thanks for bringing it. Nate, thanks for being hey man, y'all make sure we get some spray. Chris, you're the only one to thank you for keeping us on the air, for keeping the live streams up.
