can do to maintain this starting position at quarterback. Not only is he not better than Dak Prescott just flat out he's not a better player than him if you look at what he's done this season. And let me say this, there is this, there is this misnomer that when people say he is a bus driver or a game manager, that that's a bad thing. You know, every morning, when I'm taking the dog for a walk, I see these kids waiting on the corner in my complex, in

my community for the bus. Right there, they're they're waiting, and these parents send these kids out to wait for this bus every single morning with no in trepidation, with no worry and no judgment, that they're gonna get on that bus and make it to school. Right that bus driver, that bus driver, and every single morning, day in day out, that bus comes the same time, same place, picks up these kids and gets them to their destination with no harm.

And there's nothing wrong with that. There is nothing wrong with that. Okay, So when we say that Cooper us is a game manager or a bus driver, that makes it seem like he is less than what it is. Let's not forget people, this was a guy who thirty one other teams passed on when he was a free agent. Yeah, it's a team. When we released him and he was back out there in the world. Nobody else touched him. And what he is doing right now in the absence of Dak Prescott through injury. If you look at I'm

looking at you too. I'm looking at you too. I'm looking at you too. If you look at what he's done, he only has a little bit above six hundred yards and his three in his three and a half games he's played this year. You know what that puts him back in the National Football League? Dead last. It puts him dead last. It puts him and if he continue on this pace, he's stay at day last. And that's what Davis Mills, that's what jakoby Ber sets out there.

That's what Baker Mayfield being out there. I mean, there's a host of bad quarterbacks that are out there, and he has not thrown the ball less than he's yet to have a two hundred and fifty yard passing game in the National Football League. That's just not sustainable. But what he's done is exactly what you need him to do to be steady Eddie, to be a bus driver, to hold the line, no no, no, no, no no, no, to hold the line until Dak Prescott gets back. That

is what you need him to do. And there's nothing wrong with being a bus driver. But make no mistake about it, there is nothing that he does, nothing that he does that is better than what Dak Prescott does. And I'm not saying that Prescott is elite. And then on top of that, you know this, Nate, you know this, Kurt, and if y'all are being truthful to yourselves, you know this too. There is forty other million reasons why he will not remain And I don't care if these the Rams.

I don't care if he beast the Eagles. There's forty million other reasons why he will not be the starting quarterback when Dak is one hundred percent healthy. So please do be a favor. And I don't care about the hot hand all this kind of that ain't hot. This works. Y'all been begging for Tony Potter to get the run and get the snaps and all that kind of stuff. You know why Tony Potter don't get the snaps because they're given the GUD number twenty one fifteen million dollars

and that matters in this business. So no matter what Cooper Rush does in the next two games, hell in the next one hundred games that he plays. There are forty million reasons why Dak Presscott, outside of the talent discrepancy alone, will be the starting quarterback when he's one hundred percent healthy. Now that I got that out the way, man, you feel all right, you know, But all of that

he neglected the wins. One thing is fun. That's cool again, He's done what you ask The only thing that counts. He's done what you asked to done. That is the only thing that now you know, you know, you know what this you know what this is done. I'm gonna give you two other second, okay, all right, and I'm gonna talk the hole. I'm gonna the hole. Thing that Cooper Rush has done for himself, Cooper Russ has he has done this for us him more wave wise, he won't hit him up, and he is he has gotten

himself a check. There are a lot of guys in the National Football League who stick around, and one who I call the goat. He is he is the goat of all backup goats. Chase Daniel forty million dollars in his career and has played less than probably fifteen at less than fifteen NFL starts, so what Cooper Rush is now done so you don't have to worry about waver rides anymore, and if you do, you don't have to

worry about being on there very long. And someone's going to continue to pay you three four five million dollars for the rest of your career because of what you've done in these first couple of weeks. Congratulations, this is what you want it. You may not never see forty million dollars a year, not many guys due the only thirty two jobs in the National Football League. But what you've done now for you and your family is you've secured the bag as being a backup quarterback in this

league for the next ten to twelve years. You have the fo Okay, now say something of importance. It is the only thing that counts in this league is winning. That's the only thing, and yes it is, and winning gets you more of it. If you're the right marketing guru, which we have the number one almost the number one in the world, it means everything. And winning keeps your stands full, and winning keeps hope more than anything. We got a guy in Denver who gave hope who have

they ain't gonna with this kid go out there. So it's it's that doesn't come back until that is one hundred percent. Yes, and the winning has helped that. That

is the part that's held out a little breathing. They have some like they've found them because even if they go if Cooper Rush has to play the next two games right, and they go, oh into the next two games, they still find themselves at five winnable games with two winnable games against the lines and then the buy right and then now that's more than enough time where Dak

should be one hundred percent. And now you're saying, all right that I've given you back the keys to this car with a five hundred record, go do what you gotta do in these next in these next uh the remainder of these eleven games left. Yeah, that's that's what I'm encouraged about. Is it's not house money, but they're ahead of the game, right, Now, I think if people if we went into the buy four and four non Dak wasn't going to be around, people would be thrilled

with that. And the hope is still there, the stands will still be filled, and all, all and all is ahead of you. But please, please, please please stop stop with the notion that Cooper Rush can do anything on that football field. I don't care if he sets himself on fire and doesn't get third degree burns and plays four quarters number four? Is help? Right? Does Dad gets such negative? in a very isolated place. This was a guy who was thirty seven, thirty eight years old, with Zeke, with all those other guys, and Dac and all the other young guys. Terrence Williams, all those guys are hanging together at the club. They and here's Romo over here, married two kids. All he want to do is golf. Yeah, he in the band. By nine thirty Those Jokers is his hit. They at nine thirty, they still pre game it. They didn't even dressed yet for the club. They went

to the club twelve thirty. So it was it was a situation where Tony had already made a bunch of money. He was at the tell end of his career. This was like the second or third back injury he already had had, and it was like okay, and they were going. They would saying, looks in the future, looks super bright with this kid, Let's go ahead with him. That's the part of when this Hooper Rush thing is is Dak is still technically in his prime. know all those like three times three three blocks. At the time, I know it's still early, and I know that a seventy percent micah is better than one hundred percent. That's elite. Elite gives you that, yes, But I started to watch him. I'm saying, like, is he wearing down already? And should how should dan Quinn handle that? I guess his pitch count. Yeah, I mean I think it's a concern for this for him, the wear and tear aspect of it. I mean, like you said, he's he's rushing

So he's definitely taking more pound and they're like they did this last game, They're running at him. That's when one way to defeat him is run right at him. And so I don't know how you manage that pitch count. I mean, it would him playing more linebacker. Just saw some of that.

He's playing eighty eight percent of the snaps and eight so like he's not coming off the field very much. But Nate to your point, like you're you're giving Kurt the thumbs up. That is why, That is why I try to tell all you listeners, especially the people that knows football, understand what I'm saying. It's best for him to come from a linebacker position, and they don't know where he's coming from because when he lines up at either defensive ends, he's subjects to a lot of games. You gotta understand. We saw him against the Giants just flat out run over guard. Remember remember that play that hurt him too. Yeah that's a hit he delivered it, but that hurts too. And so I'm telling people he's coming off of a sickness of

illness that we don't know anything about. We don't know how much that drained him, how much that took out. Now he's going on his super elite reserves, which is greater than most, but the human part will come, so you don't have to pitch count him just moving back to his mind, back of position, let him, let him run there a little bit, let him see what you know, let him mask some free runs downhill, you know, because we got guys that can play defensive men, you know,

so let that happened a little bit inside banking. They're banging, they they are. They are trying to be that physical team that we talked about last year. They are trying to be that defensively so uh, because when you take him off the feel we become average. So you so the best way to say, you know what, let's give him from linebacker play. Let's give him from the linebacker play, because when you take him off the field, now our big two guys, now, I don't think you can just

run slap on us. But like me and brod Us talking, he was leaving, you know, I listened to his show, but we talked about all with jests have just spoken of and then our our Thievin's emends, including Michael Parson. You put him at that backer, especially that

to go. Yeah, it's been. It's it's been literally every offensive line that we played, even though we lost the Tampa they had offensive line issues. Yeah, they had lost three guys up to that point. Uh, same thing with with the Bengals, they had offensive line issues. The Giants offensive line issues, and you're saying, man, both of your tackles for the Giants are aren't playing really well. And then last week they that was their third center they had in there, and you know they're left guard and

left there was like, it's it's become so enticing. Yeah, can you can you like start chasing sacks? Yes, you know where that because well you use something mose Man, he's because we're sitting like you said, they have so perfect They'll have four guys up on that line are all under three hundred pounds and we're twenty seventh and

rushing guards allowed. That can you get so involved, Like, man, we should be burning these guys, but you're giving up in other areas outside of right on the outside butt of the guards, the left and right guards, left and right guards. We are vulnerable. Our horses in the middle are finally holding up. Our big bacon babies are finally holding up. And na our spake eaters outside want to

rush the passer. Like you say, they're getting at your board knees, but they ain't getting that other guys knees. All he're doing is half even if the tight ends that's blocking down on them, dog ain't doing no great job because they got the eyes in that backfield, bro, like you're selling them corners in the red zone. Look at the man, get your eyes off them on peep in that backfield. These dudes looking at that backfield. Yeah, no, you can definitely they are. In this split second, they're
