The following. Here's a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. Cowboys blowing out of the backfield's flowing down the sidelines. He's hanging with the boys, presented by wing Stuff where flavor gets its wings. Now, your hosts, Nate Newton, Kurt Daniels, Jesse Holley, and Shannon Gross, let's go hanging with the boy. That's right, you're gonna live. Look at the Tostitos Championship what it called Tostitos Championship

field Plaza whatever. What the temperature is sixty one degree for the high, thirty nine for the low. Look at out there the Christmas ex driver against is going on. Kurt Daniels, Shannon Gross, Nick Newton, going in here. I am Jesse, Holly, Kurt. How are you doing today? Brother, great man, great, very glad to be here. Absolute, how good I'm I'm in the words of my co co host over there, I'm crunk you crunk yea please? You know what man? Nate, Nate first, how are you doing?

I'm doing great. I'm excited. We fit to beat the guarantee this week. I guarantee it's gonna be an exciting game. I got wrong. He's not gonna jump out of that can. No, because this is this kid first time. This is uh the young Gunslinger, first time playing against his team. Man, I ain't going against that. I hope he'd be so excited to he throw like three of us options, who my homes. This is the first time we've ever played

against the Cowboys. We just man and playing in the last three Super Bowls and Dallas coming to town, and yeah, man, it may shake you just a little bit. That's star Jeff, that's baby. Okay, Yes, sir, come on, man, you ain't you know what? You know what? Man? I just made start crying today because I'm so hyped and so emotional about this thing. Man, anybody got in them down to the pills that you take you back. You've been hanging up. You've been handling on Michael Irvin. He was crying the

other day. Now you want to cry today. He was crying. Mike was crying for other reasons, but as off, what's up? Fellas, what's up? What's up? Shan? I saw you down there talking to people, and I'm hoidly like, come on, because Jessing like, no, I don't don't bring it. I want to do the trustito plasta, don't bring it And I'm like no, no, And that's it was, What did you think, Kurt? Whatever Jesse wants? So see, I knew he was I knew. I knew he was getting ready. That's why I looked

at you. I knew where he was going. He was gonna try to throw us always do. Okay, I can't. I can barely talk to you. What's going on your voice there? Every year when the yellow know when the when the when the weather changes every year when the weather goes from cold like hot to cold. Yeah, I get this post nasal drip and it messes my throat up. I don't. It doesn't feel bad at all. It just it just I guess gets my vocal cords all jack and started started getting bad yesterday, so I should have

known it was gonna be cold today. But yeah, it started. I started losing the voice last night. So hopefully make it through the show. I got new love. If not, I guess Jesse, I got new love. You know, I'm all about it, baby, Shannon. Shannon said, it ain't a lot of guys that Shannon like. But I found out last night that Tyrone. Crawford is one of his favorites. Shannon showed up early to the show right well, going

at seven. He showed her about six his boy rolling about sixteen because we rolled in with him, Crawford and he's excuse me, nay, me and my buck Crawf and the gonna have a quiet dinner. I said, yeah, So when we thought that we were wait wait, yeah, we thought that we were. Yeah, you have a late dinner. Yeah, and now your throat hurt. It wasn't a late dinner. It was an early dinner. And I went home right

after Lizzie glad the work last time. Don't even put that out I don't wit you don't even put that out there. But I'm just saying, I'm joking. Yeah, that's that's the guy. Man. Know how he got so close? How is that close? When he came? You know what, cain't a lot of me, and I think that that could whoop your ass. But he's one of them. So you're talking to me, but you affiliate with He's a Canadian. He's a Canadian. He wants he wants no beef with anybody.

He's a Canadian, you know. He said, Yeah, I saw the video. He don't want to beef with nobody. You just get up. When he got stabbed a couple of times, nobody now he So when he came into league, that was about the time we started social media, and that was before anybody had social media, and he was you know, we didn't I didn't ask players to do anything. It's all. It's completely changed now, but that was when you didn't really go on the football side and you didn't talk

to players and you didn't do all this. And he you put him on the cover of the Star magazine his rookie year. Got in trouble for that, I think later, but uh, you put him on the cover and um, and I wound up getting some extra ones and I saw him one day. I was like, hey, you want to send some of these back home. He's like, yeah,

how many can you give me? I was like, I don't know, I'll go see and I think I gave him like twelve or something, and just me giving him those magazines, well, I sent him back to Canada to his mom and everything, and like ever since then, like he was my friend and he was like probably the

first player that I was ever like friends with. And then he you know, his mom came into a MAVs game and I ran into him in the in the club and said high to him, and then wound up just really becoming friends with him, like in the building and then kind of spilled over him to anytime I need somebody do something, he would do it. And then and he's a really good guy, Like he's like that that whole thing in Florida was because somebody was jacking

with his brother. Yeah yeah, yeah, And it was like and just knowing him and his mom and his background and the trouble that he had growing up and all that stuff. He just he's just a good He's a solid dude. And I like solid people, Like if you're a solid person, like if you're a crappy person, Like, yes, you're trying not to say it, but I said, I'm a lot of things. I'm a lot of things. I'm a lot of things, but a ton of things. Yeah, we get, there's a list, there's a long crappy persons.

Now I'm a solid dude. You I used to be a crappy person. Did you live for I'm gonna let me say this. I live for that. I did when I first like first first met Nate, Like Nate was a rude yeah man, yes, sob yes, Like when did you meet him years ago? Years ago? Yeah, we knew then, but like that was and even their fourth and long was very minimal interaction. He came in like you know, if you know Nate, Nate comes in, does his job. He ain't sticking around you now, but like there are

my planet. Nate was very just crude and just too straightforward. Yeah yeah, I was. See and when I see crapping people now, I'd be like, I hope you change because if you don't, ain't no good ending for those types. When when did you change? You start being different when I when I when I went through the bad time bed spell in my life right after the Cowboys, right, I have to deal with my ex wife, you know, got into all that serious trouble. Then when I came out,

I was different. You know. I thank God for sparing me because the only thing was covering me because I burnt down almost every bridge, you know, and even the people that liked me used to just be kind of like just looking at me like they didn't know how to take me. So when I started my role back, man, I gave my life to christ Man, I just said,

you know what, enough of causing trouble being trouble. I mean, it would be so bad if I walked in this room, everybody would just get quiet and this show would not go on because I would find a way to wreck it. And I ain't talking me in the jawful way of trying to just have fun. I'm talking I would you think Charles was man? Charles cannot touch me at Charles

cannot touch me. I'm serious. And anybody that knew me, it was only a few people that could talk to me, Mike Irv and Dion Sounders and maybe Troy, but he would come at here to come at me ugly, you know what I'm saying. Emmett just stayed away, like, yeah, you know, I wasn't gonna be controlled man, And I was. I was a crappy person. And that those people, I promise you meet an ugly end. Even they die in

they sleep, they're gonna meet the ugly end. So when you're gonna change Kurt, you want me to get ugly. They love spicy Kurt, Yeah, they love spicy. I'm waiting on my you know, I'm waiting on my apology. I'm waiting for that young lady to call and get my apology for a suggested to apologize for. It's gonna be a long tow long. I don't know how many years you got left, but you're going to exalt all them years tomorrow. She needs to call the show tomorrow. What's

her name, Fox, Fox, pep, something like that. Call the show tomorrow. We'll open up the phone line for you. Five two two nine seven Man. Good people, Yeah, stay around good people. And honestly, I think that's why our show is so successful because we have four good nots and the other shows don't have good people. But we got four good, solid dudes who just love life. Who we got Chris, No, I'm playing Chris, Don't, I'm playing? Now? We got? We got five solid dudes on our show Man,

and we just love life. We love life and experienced life, and we just we we enjoy the We enjoy being joy, right, we enjoy giving joy. We enjoy that part of it. We're givers. And so that's why people just relate to our show so much, because they're just like, it's the drunk uncle, it's the you know, it's the it's the crazy one it's the sensible one, it's the quiet one. We just we we hit so many different emotions in people's lives that they can relate to. We're the most

relatable show. And the shirts shirts searched. Yeah you go, that's a yeah. And I feel like we've all in our and not a whole We don't know a whole lot about your past, Kurt, but like he's a punk rocker. He's a rocker. He's a rocker. It's a rock but we I feel like we've all been through we didn't take the easy way here, Like we all got here through a series of events that we probably never will understand or no why, but we wound up working for the Cowboys one Yeah, and two on this show together.

And like a lot of shows, like I don't I haven't been on a whole lot of other shows, but I feel like when the mic goes off, like it's like okay, bye, right, Like we actually go do stuff we don't we don't do it often enough, but like we go do stuff with each other. We support each other, Like our text chain is our our group. You know what I've gotten off the chain, y'all. It's hilarious that two nights ago nine, my wife said, baby, who is that? I say, don't ring that. I get the I'm like,

it's either Jess Shannon because Curtie's gone to bed. You met him? You you have I met her? Yeah, man, but you know I'm gonna tell you something. That's what you call her. But we we can talk about us all we want, man, but I promise you we need to go to KC. Man, we need to just load up right now, go to case Bro. Something big for them. We either gonna blow these dudes out. We made lose by half a point. Were either gonna blow these dudes out and what I call a blowout if we may

beat him by seven points. You think you can blow these guys out or they might have to have a bad day on offense, right, Yeah, they're not to have a bad day because that that kid, that kid along with his offensive coordinator and kid coach, they they they special. Man. Yeah, what makes him so good that my homes Is it because he extends the players? It just because he can make every single throw? Or is he smart? He is? He is a he is a combination of it all.

If you say ABC and then dB, all of the above he's all of the above, because most times you'll say, okay, well this kid has a crazy strong arm, right, but he's not athletic, right. Or you say, well, he's super smart, but he can't make all the throws, so he gotta pick throws, you know, he gotta make And then you say, man, you know this guy is athletic, but he can't throw a lick. You know what I'm saying. You can say that's Lamar Jackson or guys like Cam New, whatever it is.

This dude is all of the above. He's smart, like y'all. Remember he took the league by storm, and after that season he said, yeah, I can't really read defenses like he After his first year, he's like, yeah, it took me a little while to understand what I was looking at. He's like, wait what he had like forty five times? You know what He's like, Well, yeah, I didn't understand that. I didn't read defense much in college, so when I got to the league, I was kind of still trying

to figure out how to read a defense. So he's intelligent enough, he's athletic enough. He he can make every single throw and then he can throw with his left hand too. Right. So it's like, then you couple that with the mad science scientists genius of Andy Reid and and arb me that combination when your officeive coordinator have to tell your head coach, come on, man, that's enough when your office a coordinated to tear your head coach. Man, I know you just saw what ye tell did. So

what's the key? Do you you pressure him? Do you drop more men back? How do you how did you battle this guy? No? You gotta go get them. You gotta go get them because the more time you give him, the harder it is on your back end. Um And what I mean, wow, you know as soon as you say this defensive secondary, the more time than pressure they get. You don't defend him, Nate, don't defend, but you gotta go get Patrick Mahomes because and Mike McCarthy mentioned it.

It said, you know it has to be in sync because I don't care who you are. I really don't care who you are. You can't cover for four or five seconds, not with that speed. And they all got speed on that team, from the tight end to the third fourth receiver. So you give Patrick Mahomes, who has the ability to throw any pass ten yards fifteen yards, forty yards, sixty yards on the run. You give him time. There's nothing that Digs Brown, Lewis, Kaze jk not they

can do. It's just you just can't cover that long. So the best bet is to get after him, make him take his eyes off field. But you gotta get home because if you don't, and that and that that, those secondary players relax. And we've seen it. If you watched, if you watched enough Kennas City Chiefs games, film highlights, whatever, you think, the player is over and all of a sudden, Tyreek Hiller sixty yards downfield doing this to you, and it's touchdown. So it's it's for the most part, you

gotta get after him. You gotta get after him and throw the timing off because a lot of what they do, those home run plays, takes a little bit of time to develop. So if you get after him and and and dirty him up a little bit, now he doesn't the timing is off, the system is off. Now they can crack you in the head at any point in time, but more often than not, you get him off, timing off schedule. That helps you out as far as covering that speed on the on the back. It's a route

just Tyreek Hills deep over. Yeah, that's that's him the depot. But I'm saying he ran a route where he ran like five or six yards up, but he turned and went five and six yards in and then he went out up into the corner. What route is that called? So they called a multitude of things because it's set up off his deep over right. So what that's what they like to run. So he'll run in up and then he'll just say my speed and your speed to

the sideline right, and you can't win. So he'll go in up, and then they call a deep return route okay, okay, And so he'll start going like he's doing that deep over and all of a sudden, you like, I gotta go. Now, you get on that horse and you start going. He goes, and then he's going back that way. But again that route takes time. He got to go in up and he got to sell it for five or six yards to get you to sell it in the safety to go,

and then I come back the opposite way. If you get to the quarterback ross like that can't be accomplished. The dude thirty five for the Raiders came up, missed his jam, got over, extending while he was on his route. I'm talking about everybody can run that route because number one, everybody don't have this speed, and number two, he can cut. He's one of the few blazers that can cut. He cut on the diamond, went back out. The dude was behind.

You could just see the dude straining. I'm like, and if he wouldn't have just ran out of bounds, right, So, how do you do we have anybody and keep up with him? I would Anthony Brown is the fastest, keep trying to tell him. I would put an Anthony. I would back Anthony, do not jam. Do not try. I figured you'd say jam him because if you miss this over, that's what that dude that route, he gonna take this

his main route away from him. And then when he went to turn to get on his horse, he cut back out and he had to stop, turn around and try to that's design because that type of speed automatically put you on high alert. Yeah, and when you miss it automatically put you in a panic. And once you once a dB is in a panic, you're done. You can't function well. And the reason why they get and here's where Travis Kelsey comes into play because they run

those routes and everyone's lifted. And then now Travis Kelsey, he's just in that ten or twelve yard range with nothing but space if you look at a lot of his yards. And I was watching him a couple of weeks,

and I'm gonna tell you what. Let's go to break because I want to spend a lot of time on him because I got some questions about Okay, take our break, and when we come back, let's talk about Travis Kelsey and more cowboys Kansas City when we come back on the People's show, Hanging with the Boys, Honey, big news, Gary, Are you okay? You don't want to listen to it, Go listen to whoever else. Well, you could talk to Mickey.

So all right, So my question about Kelsey is, since you're going down that road, is he one of those Is he a Jimmy Graham kind of guy where if he was in a different offense, he would be good, but he wouldn't be near the guy? Is he is he Kelsey because of what they able to do by taking the top off of that, and then you got a mobile quarterback in Mahomes or would he be top three guy no matter where he went in the NFL?

Because you've seen that a couple of times. You've seen a couple of guys that had moved and just like they were, they were a product of the system and then they didn't perform anything like that. And in the tight end position, this dude can block, he's mean, and he can catch that rock, he can get, he can body up. It would take a dumb offensive coordinator, a dumb head coach not to realize what his kid is. Jesse, you got to flow in this seasons before Mahomes got there.

He had over a thousand yards in two thousand and sixteen or one thousand yards. I think. I don't think Mahomes really started till two thousand and eighteen, So he had two thousand yard campaigns before Mahomes really became the starter. And then what's he done after an eight hundred before that? And then he said three straight one thousand yard campaigns with Mahomes and let the league, let the entire league

in receiving yards a year ago. Yet fourteen hundred, uh yeah, fourteen hundred read off his read off his yards starting with twenty seventeen seventeen, he had one thousand and thirty eight and one thousand, three and thirty six, one thousand, two hundred and twenty nine, one thousand, four hundred and sixteen and he's still passing. You can get two, you can get two hundred of yards to to read. Yeah, now put that into context. Jason Witten played sixteen season,

seventeen seasons. I think Whitton had two, two, three, maybe one thousand yards seasons. Kelsey's eighth this year and receiving yards, a's a tight end, it's a running that thing cross there allows him to make stra running after catch yards, you know, but about two hundred of them yards just because he running streaking cross that. What does that? What does that do? Does that allow him to be one on one? Does that make a linebacker cover him? Like? Why does why is Tarik taking the top off make

him that much more dangerous? Tarik Nicole Hardman when they had Sammy Watkins. Yeah, because the first thing you're taught as a safety or dB is don't give up the big play. Don't let anybody behind you, let anybody behind you. So now when you when you when you cut the table, one thing is visible when you cut the nit Kansas City offense. It ain't none but speed all across the board. So now there's another heightened awareness of I'm already taught in Nate in me to not give up the big

play and you know, not get beat with speed. Then now all I'm facing a speed, So everybody is like, man, were getting back, We're getting back. So when you get back, I take one of the most athletic tight ends in the league, and now I match him up on the

the linebackers, maybe your big nickel safety. And the thing that I've noticed over the last couple of weeks, and you can go back and you can watch film, watch this little subtlety that Travis Kelsey does when he most of his receptions, if you look at receptions, they're eighty five percent of them, they're over the center area right give or take a yard, you know, give or take a couple of yards either way. He does this little thing where once he post up, like you know, throw

me the ball. As the ball is coming, he begins this little turn. Now it is it goes against everything that you're taught as a receiver, right to start turning before you got the ball. That's why he has six drops this year. It is because he is concentration, hasn't allay, hasn't all been there. But he does this little subtleties and it's it's he's turning as the ball is coming. And you see him turn and he's like this, and it doesn't look like anything, but here's what it does.

When I have a linebacker who's screaming down or a safety who's screaming down, those guys are a c man hit man. So they're hitting it. They're they're going to

hit a stationary target. By the time the ball actually gets there and that dB actually gets to that station every man he's no longer stationary and just this sub movement of you not getting a full man to hit when you go when you were going at that full man and you just may catch the half back, you know, back end of my shoulders or whatever it may be.

He breaks so many tackles and the first guy always miss because he turns left, he turns right, and now he's already heading up field as you're coming down field to make the tackle, and he's breaking so many tackles and he's getting the yack yards, and where it's effective is at well, remember Tyreek Hills already taking the rest of those guys twenty five yards down the field. So if he catches it at fifteen and the rest of those guys are twenty five, there's ten yards of space

where now he's getting the yack yards. He's picking up blocks down field, and now everybody's rallying to that. And so that's the key thing when you look at how Travis Kelsey really eats, he eats over the middle of everybody's he does his little soul turning. He's catching the ball, breaks the first tackle almost all the time, whether safety or a linebacker, and he's picking up six, eight, ten.

And then when they really get into a good groove thirty forty yards down the field because everybody's lifted up from the from the from the speed, and then he's picking up blocks along the way. You know what's amazing is And I was telling some of the guys him the other show. They you can change the running backs, you can get other wide receivers, but it's two guys that's gonna beat you with this quarterback. And he just

talked about both. So they coach Andy Reid and Eric b Anderman is so good as scheming and working off what they have. It's just ridiculous. It's it's it's ridiculous. I mean a new offensive line, virtually a new offensive line. Yeah, and and they're doing it man, and and everybody else. We you know, everybody's got three receivers. Great running back, this dad another this dude's been working with the same two cats and his quarterback and man, you know great

the great Randy Galloway. You always say it's all about the quarterback. And I used to be fight him every inch. You know what it's all about the quarterback? Who would you who would you put on Kelsey? Would you put JK on him? Yeah? I would put size persons man I would put no, no, no, You're gonna need Parsons. You're gonna need Parsons to still be a Roman guy. Pressure. Yeah, yeah,

if you get pressure, be a Roman guy. They're gonna try to run the football with Williams a little bit, and you know the young Frank Gore's son, and and and and Mkisson, So they're gonna you're gonna need You're gonna need you know, you're gonna need him to be in that position. But also I think this is one of those games as well when you add him to that mix of Russias, get him into that mix of rushers, because he's probably with no Randy, no tank, he might

be the only one. Honestly, he might be the only one that is big enough, strong enough, fast enough, athletic enough to run down Patrick Mahomes. Because Patrick could get back there and he'll start doing all this hurkey jerky stuff. Mike is probably one of the only ones that can go is athletic enough to put his foot in the ground and stop and turn down and run him down. Does Mahomes Does he run a lot? I know he scrambles a lot. I know he extends play. He's like

behind the line of scrimmage. Does he does he run for a lot of yards or is it all extending to play behind? It's both, he does both. He wants to extend it, but he'll he'll drop back and and you know he'll let he'll let those tackles take those guys up field, and you'll see him step up in that pocket. And while he's stepping up, he's like this. And again you got Travis kelce Hilver here, Tyry Kill over there, mcole Harmon over there, and you're like, well, what do I do? You know? What do I? What

do I do? He's like this. The next thing you know, he'll take off and pick up a first down or you'll go I'm gonna get him. He'll go He'll look this way and go yeah, no, look over there and to a guy, you know, do you vacate that area? He'll throw it in there behind your head. The thing about him, if you go back, because I was talking about it, you go back that first Super Bowl they won,

and look at him many time. I think he averaged maybe fifty yards rushing the game because he needed to know, he needed to He knew that it was taking his players time to get done what they need to be done. And that's the thing about when you play in the big games like that, where teams are does does have skilled position players that can hold up just the minimal

amount of time. And I mean, like Jes said, nobody can hold him three, four or five seconds, but you do have corners that in a playoff situation, a big game situation, they can hold up a little bit longer. So you know, and you got deep his linement that can get to him, and I hope we got enough to keep the rotation fresh. Yeah, he's got two twenty seven yards scrambling this year, so not a ton, but enough to hurt you. Six point one yards enough to hurt you. Yes, you read that tweet before we go

to Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We have the best. And I don't call them fans, I call him family. We got the best extended family in the world. This tweet came from Boston man D and he kept it in football terms. He said, time of possession, mister fourth de Long thirty minutes sixty one, Nate Newton ten minutes, sending underscore PG four point five minutes, DC Star out of the Kurt point five seconds, hanging with the Boys should

But love one or Texas uh um legend or Texas. I

don't know what you want to call them. But Waterburger just opened their first store in Kansas City on Monday? Did they really? We're invading? We're coming, all right, I'm gonna go. We're going to dinner at Q thirty nine. Yeah, that's a great place to good spot. You know why Waterburger opened a store in Kansas City? Home Holmes requested, yeah, are you kidding? When he signed his big con for the universities, Like I love Waterburger. It's like his favorite player.

Are you kidding me? So somebody want to responsors? Yes? Yeah, they got about four or five more going in there. They're not as big of a sponsor as Wingstop and seen this. We need to wing drop. We to have wings out here on the block. Yeah, man, it's covid. Do we have new management at the wings stock Covid. I need to get us some wings. And what's her name? What was it? What was the young lady name that had the dunkin donuts? Margot will Um? I don't remember.

We had the donut lady and we had the wing lady. Yeah. Remember, we need to get those back. I need to get them back. Oh we had Ah, we need to have these sponsors that we really. Tyrone was on the show last night. I got to ask y'all a question because they made a big deal out of it on a fan This morning, Troy Hughes was on with us and he, uh, would you guys? Tyrone said he's going to the game.

He'll be at the game this weekend and he said he didn't hadn't decided if he's gonna wear his d Law jersey or his Anthony Hitchins jersey or you know, I made them no Cowboys Anthony Hitchings, and I said you should get one of those that's kind of cut down the middle. Would you ever wear a man's jersey, a football jersey or any sports my sons? Yeah, that's my sons. I haven't. No, but I haven't. What about you? Oh, I'm very clear in that stance. No, it's super weird

for men to wear other men jerseys. I've said that for a year. Killed me on Twitter for it. So you don't have a Jordan jersey? No? No, really, if it was, it would be signed it on his wall. Yeah. I had. I had one jersey that someone gifted me when I signed to Carolina. This was back when throwback jersey were kind of the thing, right. They got me a Carolina James Worthy throwback jersey and I had that my freshman year at school. And then after that I

was like Kanye. Literally, Kanye came on the scene and Polos became the thing. Everybody through their jersey's away. I got rid of the jersey. Really, Yeah, that's only jersey. I had that one when I was a kid, but as an adult, No, how about you, Chris, Yeah, I currently own one jersey, black Hawk's jersey. It is a black Chris Chelios. No, it's Kine. Okay, what about you? No,

don't own any jerseys? Would you? Though? The only way, the only way I would do it is if it was somebody that would you wear a Tyrone Crowford jersey? I was gonna just ask him about right now if it was a special like, ok not just like not just out in public, but like if it was some kind of like he came back and played a game or he retired here, and you know, maybe not even that. I don't know. Maybe well I changed my mind. I was another man's chairs out because I do. I wouldn't

eate news cheres. Do you would do? What about the president's jersey? Who? Uh? I get? I signed one. I got to get him to sign. Why I put it on my wall? Would you ever wear it? No? We ain't loving the president hey in the Hall of Fame. No, No, let he forced me. I ain't got another charge. Let me run down the before we get back into it. The schedule for Kansas City, because we're not knocking you guys. If you want to wearer no, we just choose. I

just choose not shots. Yeah, I don't see anything wrong shot off. Um, this is how they started off. They won versus Cleveland, they lost versus Baltimore, lost versus the Chargers. They got blown out for Baltimore. Yeah, beat beat Philly. Uh no, thirty six thirty five? Was that all garbage points at the end? No bottom the late last field? What the game? They got blown out Buffalo Buffalo in Kansas City. Okay, that's the one. Sorry. They beat Philly

forty two to thirty. They lost to Buffalo thirty eight to twenty one at Washington thirty one thirteen, lost at Tennessee twenty seven to three, and then they won three in a row, the Giants, Green Bay and Las Vegas. So they started off really green Bay didn't have have two blowouts. Yeah, they won that game. I believe it was thirteen nothing right, thirteen seven or seven? That's right,

there are two blowouts. They had four turnovers. Buffalo didn't have any Titans head they had three against the Titans. That's the best humanity and one Tennessee. Tennessee got the best human even without Henry. But they they they are playing well as a team. Yeah, but I mean you think of them as a high powered offense. But they they've put up thirteen twenty three twenty they had the longest winning streaming the league right now six games current Tennessee.

Are you talking about Tennessee? N I just do that. The biggest thing for for Kansas City is what Kurt was just mentioning is that they've turned the ball over at an extremely higher rate this year. Interptions. Yeah, like the charter three four four turnovers to none for charters a team. No, no, no, no, they've been turning the

ball over. They've been turning the ball over. And then they've had a bunch of uncharacteristic drops, fumbles, interceptions, and we talk about like think about in a game, you have four turn ups, that's four possessions that you don't have in a game to do something with, and you give another team for extra possessions that they probably normally wouldn't have in a football game like that, that that

puts you in a very difficult situation. And they were they used to have a list of the percentages, like if you turn the ball over one time a game, you're fifteen percent chance to lose a game two times a game forty percent chance, three chance eighty five percent chance of losing the football game. And four it's almost a four gone conclusion. You turn the ball over four times in the game, you can you can count that as a loss. So for Kansas City, it's it's been that.

And most teams this year have made them change the where they played football because they've stopped allowing the big plays. And it took them a while for Patrick Mahomes, for Tyreek Hill, for Eric b Enemy, for h Andy Reid to realize, Okay, we got to take the underneath stuff. Hey, throw it out to the back of the flare. Throw it. They'll throw that check down. Throw that right over the you know, right over the ghost tight end, right over the ghost center. Like take the profitable plays to allow

us to get to the home run plays. They were so used to hitting the home run plays at such a high rate that they were just constantly going to it. What teams were saying, like, you know what, we didn't give you the we didn't give you the big home run plays anymore. And it took some time to adjust to saying, you know what, I Patrick Mahomes said, I never threw the checkdown route because I was always I was going down field. We were always just they were

the Steph Curry Warriors of the NFL. It's like, you know what, why take a layup? What I could shoot the three? You know? It's like, yeah, I know, I had a layup. That's a ninety ninety five percent chance of converting, and there's three pointers more like a thirty five percent chance of converting, forty percent chance of converting. But yolo, I'm shooting the three. And if I make enough of these threes, if I make ten threes and

you make ten twos, I win. And for a long time, the Chiefs were just saying, hey, I'm going for the yolo. You know, I'm going for the fifteen to splash play, twenty plus yard play, and the whole time the back is in the flat, and they're just like, oh, we don't care about you, Terry Hill. Go deep and we'll just keep chucking and chucking and chucking it as long

as they didn't turn the ball over. You gotta believe that if I throw four, if I got a chance to throw three goal routes and I connect on one, that's forty that's forty forty yards, we move the chains right, we go down just like that. So they were so used to just taking those chunk plays that now they had to convert back to doing something kind of normal, saying you know what, yeah, running back, go do something. And it took him a little while to adjusted that.

And I don't I don't want to say they found their rhythm last week against against the Raiders. But good though they look good against the Raiders, they're run game where you know, I think they're one of the lowest teams in run percentage. I mean, is it your boy? Even Jordan ain't gonna make a difference. A little kid out of this you coming back? They say, miss last week just so he'll be ready this week's But that don't make a difference that they just throw it him

to him. Hey, Kurt, pull up Twitter, put it put a put another pole out on Twitter. So that one did so good yesterday. We like, we like the pole your shot, so asked asked the people who they want to be our wing Stop guest on the show next week? And I'll give you a list of guys. All right, make sure you tag wing Stop. Let's see. Let's see who we want Jordan get Can I get a bone? Yeah? Who? Who put your guy in there? Who's your guy? Oh my god? Was you know the flax huh flags? Chicken flag? Yeah,

that's who I want. Oh he want he want Flats to be his guy? Flats? Oh you want us? I work on that Tuesday. It's throwing there. Let's throwing there, Jordan Lewis, Lewis, man, come on, you know that's my guy. Come on, man the other guy. Let's put in Cedric Wilson and come on, you've making me fight. Let's do c J. Goodwin for Jesse for the special Teams guy, okay? And then who who do we want our four to be? It can't be like dak or Zeke because I've got

too big time for us. Who else we want? Zack Martin, Sir? Who else? Who else? Who's the fourth? Bakers Ville Butcher? Can you do more than four? What nominees? Again? Jordan Lewis, Cedric Wilson, C J. Goodwin? And then who Butcher? Let's let's go with your guys. Who Malik Turner? Yeah, that's going him all receivers and what was that shuttle? Like? I don't know Malik? Okay, you're believing him yet I don't know him? Like to you don't believe him enough

him to be on the show. You believe in him enough, like a killing the Neils. He good interview, Yeah, right back, Michael Gallup, Michael Gallup, Yeah he done enough yet now he's him get more? Oh big, Still he's on he's on a You can't be a It can't be a rookie. It's not a rookie. He's on the rookie. He's not he's on his contract contract. Yeah, rookie contract. Yeah. Oh they came to a rookie contract. Yeah, talk off air, all right, money up, Zack Black Martin, let's go put

Zack in. There's actually a good interview, Like he's a good but he's awesome, all right, but the resident watching pick watching watch him pick? Uh, somebody I can't get. I think I get all those guys. Yeah, well it's the short works next week too, by the way, Oh yeah, it might be tough. Whenever we're able to get guys next it might be the following week.
