The following is a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. Blowing out of the backfield, x flombing down the sidelines. He's Hanging with the Boys, presented by Wing Stuff where Flavor gets its wings. Now your hosts, Nate Newton, Kurt Daniels, Jesse Holly, and Shannon Gross. Thursday edition of Hanging with the Boylife from the s WBC Mortgage living Room in Frisco. Shannon Gross, Jesse Holly, Nate Newton, Kurt Daniels, Chris bean Man in the board
talking to myself in the background. I love here, Chris be mutch us uh oh Man. Well, I think the show was gonna go one direction today, but I think we have to uh. I think we have to address some comments that were made by uh one Xavier Wood, Shannon, I don't want to get fired this week. Help me not get fired this week. Well, I mean, we got to talk about we bring this off top, we gotta tell it about it. I'm gonna let Kurt answer it.
Let it's national. It's it's national news. So we wouldn't be doing our fans justice if we don't talk about this. And I and you know what, and I have a I have an honest I have a legitimate question because you can't say what he said. So, Jesse, do you haven't pulled up? Do one of y'all have it pulled up? What is what his quote was, Kurt, do you have it? Yeah, go see if you find it. You kind of go
ahead the shorter version he said. Xavier Wood said on the fan Radio Network or Flagship we're in the NFL. You don't expect guys to go full speed for seventy plays. That's not possible. We're going to push as hard as we can. You don't expect expect a backside corner to make a play on the opposite side if he's running full speed the whole time. It's just not possible, to be honest, which I think it's probably true that you know, guy, if a players going the other way, the cornerback's probably
not totally busting his butt over there. But that's just not something you say, right, That's what I'm saying. That's my point is and that's my guy. West Monroe High school graduate, same high school as me and Brady James. I you can't say now it makes sense. Now it makes sense. He's from Westminrow, Louisiana, So it makes sense that the mental that there's a shortage between what happens in the brand and what comes off the tongue. He from your same hometown. Now it all makes s I'm
not not at him anymore. Now it makes sense. But you here's here's my question. I mean, my question you guys, is he's not wrong? Like you can't go one hundred percent for seventy plays. You got you have to save something in the tank. But is the issue that is the issue, just that you can't say that, especially when a defense is being questioned, when efforts being questioned and all that. I mean, he he's not wrong, is he?
Or tell me? I don't know. I've never played the game where I had to go out and run seventy plays at a professional level. Boys don't want to talk fear than Shannon Ahead. Please, you know I'm gonna tell you some fellas. To me, it ain't funny you just get gash for three hundred and seven yards, you're in the hole, missing tackles as a safety, It's not funny. You you catch your starting line back a jogging and then all of a sudden he realized the reverses coming
red at him. Then he start running you your interior office defensive line by the stats, and ESPN says, out of seventy six players versus the run, your ability to stop ranks seventy two, seventy three, seventy four. And then you make this statement and turn yourself into a national joke. And and that bothers me because that ain't That ain't the way we do it. That is not supposed to be right. So for all you guys and girls that
think that it's okay to do that, you're wrong. That's why the Ravens are where they're at, and that's why
the Cowboys, wait, they are because that's acceptable. Xavier Woods is wrong and every sense of the way, Nate and I know this every single day in practice, there is this drill that's called the pursuit drill that you see defensive coordinators, linebacker coaches, DV coaches where they do drills where someone's over the ball and everybody's engaged and the ball goes one way and then everybody rallies to the football, the backside corner, the backside defensive, then the backs. It
doesn't matter. You work on these drills every single day. Now, if you can tell me at any given time in an NFL game, when there is a play where you're okay with loafing or not going full speed, you let me know, because on any given play, you don't know if the guy in front of you is going to make the tackle. You don't know if that play is going to break, You don't know if the ball is going to come out. You see, this is the difference
between championship winning teams and sorry, sorry, a football teams. Okay, this is into that. I'm glad this is This is the difference because when you have guys who even think like this, let alone saying it out loud, when you have players that you are putting on the field that are supposed to be the leaders of your football team, and this is and this is the mentality that they have. Well, I can't go hard for seventy plays, bs. It's the
reason you are one in three. It's the reason why you are the laughing stock of the National Football League. It is the reason why you can't find a way to win football games because you have too many players on this football team with the mentality of I don't have to go hard every single play, and when you have one, two, three, it's contagious. It gets around the
locker room and it's infectious. And so you have these guys on this football team who think, who act, and who practice the way that Xavier Woods is talking about. And then we see the horse crap that you put out there on Sunday because you can't tell me when is a play available for you to loaf, because you don't don't You don't ever know when that play is
gonna break, when something's going to happen. When you watch the good football teams, the good football teams, the playoff contending, Super Bowl contending football teams, they rally to the football, eleven guy to the football. You learn that far before
you get to the National Football League. And so for Xavier Woods to utter that disrespect, that is disrespectful stuff to say to those who play the game the right way, for those who did not loaf, for those who wasn't looking for a way out, for those who was giving every single thing that they got on every single play, because you do not know when it's your last play, it is. It is upsetting, ended up setting. It is sickening to someone who's played this game. Who cherishes this game?
To hear a guy come out of his mouth with crap like that, to think this is a guy that you're putting on your football field every single week as a brother in the game. I want all my guys to go hard every and if you need a blow, hey, I need a blow, tap your head, go get a blow. But while you're in between those lines, it is always one hundred miles an hour trying to reach that. But
if this is the sad thing? Is so? What you're saying is it would have been all right a week or so ago if the young rookie would have just gave up on that bomb that DJ Metcalf called. That was cool if he had just gave up, right, Is that what you're saying? See, you gotta think, You gotta think. You gotta think before you allow. You know. So you tell your kid, if you got a kid that want to play football, hey, son, when the ball way over there,
don't don't try, you know, I mean, it don't make sense. Now. Can you go full speed every play? No, you can't. But are you trying to get there? Yes you are? So I'm not gonna crush these kids exist, No, he needs to be crushed. But but but you can't say that name that is cannot I'm not gonna crush the kid. But like rich Da Rubber once told me, if you don't know what to say, son, because he had to look a bewilderment saying this, just speak quiet, Just stop yourself,
Just say hold on? What am I saying here? Never been taught that, never been asked to be that? Hey, shut up? Just how he think going to handle this? Is? This is the coach is gonna say summer to the players. Now. I ain't nobody gonna say that. He canna say that he been that loaf. All I'm saying is this game here? Does somebody get behind him? If he loath what is this? What's gonna be his excuse? Is that the play that I should have been running. So he heart itself and
put himself on alert. He ain't got to say that. Ain't nobody got what I'm trying to say. Somebody may say something to him, but what do you have to say when the game starts? What is your what is your forefront of your mind? Ain't blowing nor sign And I definitely ain't gonna be low and see that That's the way that I took it was like he was saying, it's not physically possible for you to go one hundred percent.
There's it's not physically possible, but it sounds like to hear you're in Jesse's reaction is you don't be trying to get that, bro right. But if you might only be a percent because you're winded or whatever, you you don't ever convey the message that I'm not going to give whatever my hunt like I only maybe at eighty percent capacity, but I'm giving one hundred percent of that eighty percent. The way that I interpret it was just
physically it's not possible. But you guys, sounds like you guys are really taking exception to you know, as guys the game. You don't say that. You don't say that,
But let me ask you this question. If if when you watch when you go back and you watch NFL games and the Kyle wasn't been playing upwards in the sixty five to seventy two apps, a game when you go down and you go back and you just really break down that film a football game usually comes down to about four or five players in that game that was made or quote unquote not made like you think about all that is going on is that you can pinpoint about four or five player, you'd black one or
two players here and there, and boy, we got this thing. And then I go back and I watched them do a fifty yard reverse to Odell Beckham for a touchdown. And at the end of that play, you see Jalen Smith trying to run down Odell Beckham, but only after he realizes, oh, by the way, after Joe Thomas and Xavier Woods and all the other guys ran themselves out of position of the play, which is beyond me. But I watched that play and you see it the last minute,
Jayala Smith tries to go onto another gear. But if you rewind it, you watch Jaylen Smith, watch the play, watch the play walk kind of jog jog, jog, and then it's that old ish moment happens and he takes off. Now, just think about because Xavier Wood said it's physically impossible not to go hard every single down, think about this.
If Jayleen Smith, and I'm using him for an example because that's the thing that I remember the most, if he is on his horse from Jump Street, there's no touchdown because he gets to a point in a dead sprit where he's able to reach out and grab Odell's Beckham's arm, where he's after he's a loaf and taking
his time to get there. Just imagine if he had, if he had went one hundred miles an hour from the start, Maybe he calls a fumble, maybe they don't score it, and that they have to play another down, and maybe Baker mayfield those There's all these scenarios that happen when you go back and you look at these things. So to say that you can't go one hundred miles an hour every single down, that that is. Get off the field, son, Get off the field like that. That
is that is that is sickening. It. It boils my blood as someone who was a player who had to fight for every single rep that he got. God, whether I got one rep or one hundred reps, I'm giving you everything I got, whether it's black blocking backside route, running on a kickoff on a kickoff return. But to tell me that you you it's not possible to go every every down one hundred miles an hour. Get off
the field. Your mindset is the reason, a part of the reason why this team is as bad and this defense is as bad as it's been all year, Loan, because you have people who are who are playing ninety percent or more of the snaps who think like him. All right, we're gonna take our first break, and when we come back, we're gonna try to cheer Nate up. I'm sorry that I started this show off on the wrong foot and got you guys angry. Y'all are mad Nates like rubbing his four Nothing to do with it, man,
It just it just it's just man. I'm a cowboy fan for real. I'm not a fake. And I played when we were down, and I played when we were up. And for when I hear people say this, who's spend their heart on money that can make excuses for a guy not performing? That don't make sense to me. It doesn't make sense to me if we can make excuses for guys not performing. All right, let's take our first break. When we come back, we will not be this somber

mean fifteen seconds. Cut them down from thirty seconds. I was like, you know what, they've been so good to us, and they keep coming back to this show and help pay No man, they help, you know, they helped get that ten dollars a show for for Jesse and Nate. I was like, if they wanted to be thirty seconds, you let it be thirty seconds. So there you go. We got thirty second live reads for Tommy John all right,
stab my pockets up. I just looked at Dernay Holmes come up on the running back safety just come up on the running back giving masters meth for trying to get on well Nate, Nate, I did, h what used to be Cowboys Happy Hour last night every Wednesday night that's on one of five three to fan our our flagship station. I did, It's it's changed to uh Cowboys Cross Talk now. And last night we had one of your former teammates on the show. We had Tony Cassie
Us on the show See What's Up? Without us even saying it, he said, the prescription for the Cowboys is coming down this weekend. Did he get a Nate credit? And he I did. I jumped in and I said, I don't know what? Did he give Nate credit? No, he didn't even know that. He didn't even know Nate had talked about university. You're not say universe the thing we use. You know that to use it too, you know? I told him. Nate said, the drug store has been coming to town all week, so he's on the same page.
He thinks that this is what is going to cure the Cowboys this week. They should handle business. You got coach Garrett coming to town running their offense. Nate, what are you expecting from the Giants offense this week? They I look at them, and they're trying, but they're just not good enough. Their quarterback is taking a step back for some reason. They've lost their main running back, the
two wide receivers, the big horses ain't doing nothing. I heard or something because I don't even see them on the report. So they're just trying to get through games. They're just trying to survive. I mean, you can see what they're trying to do, but they're just not good enough to do it. And and and if you play turnover free, if you've if you get some turnovers, expect if you get some turnovers, you can crush these guys offense.
Let me ask you. I mean, last week they rushed for one hundred and thirty six yards against the Rams, which the Rams, you know, they're not gray. They're eighteenth against the run this year, but Dallas is last. I mean, what makes you and we you know we can talk a little about you can ask you the same question, right, what makes you think they can stop these guys. Our offense is better, way better than their defense. So our defense and their office is about the same. And I
hate to bring this up. It's gonna come down to who won't to the most. Oh okay, thank you. It's gonna come down to who wants it in the most, our defense or their offense. Okay. And I hate to bring that up, but you set me up, Kurt, Thank you. Nice bye. Just said my correct. I mean, we got the better offense, your special It's gonna come down to who got the better office of defense there must and what they're and what they're gonna And here's a thing.
And Jason Garrett came out. He said today said this defense looks way different than what I remember it being a year ago. Um, you know, just same same players, but it just looks different. Um. They alluded to it the other day, say look different. Yeah, yeah, he said, same guys, it just looks different. Um wow, he said, I'm a real Then Jason dolins Jason Norman to say, hey, that's a great team. They're smart, they do all your coach phrases that you hate. Yes, but this is a
copycat league. And if you see how how coach Garrett is trying to run their offenses. They're trying to limit the times that Daniel Jones has to drop back and throw the ball downfield. They want to be able to establish the run, you know, have him pass the ball, you know, two hundred yards. But really just being now, their defense has been keeping them in a lot of football games. They've been playing to a point where they've been able to keep themselves in football games, keep themselves afloat.
It's the offensive side for the Giants that has not been able to produce points. Of course, when you lose your best running back in say Kwan Barkley, you know, that's your bell cow. He does so much stuff for your for your offense because he's a kind of guy that can take, you know, what looks to be maybe a one or two yard game and turn it into a fourteen yard game or something that looks like it's going to be a ten yard game and they go to the house or catch passes out of the backfield.
So now when you don't have in you add your backups and you don't have much talent at the wire receiving position. You know, the golden take is one of those guys who's always tried to have big games, and he's had big game. He's been a cowboy killer for a couple of years. Whether it's been in Seattle, whether it's been in Detroit, he's always come in and had a pretty good game. But they they want to do, they want to do what we what got done to
us last week. Okay, they want to try to be able to establish the line of scrimmage, run the football, use play action pass. We know what Jason Garrett is. Uh. The problem is they don't have as good, nowhere near as good as an offensive line as Cleveland has. They don't have anything close to the running backs that Cleveland had um and so they're trying to do things. You to Nate was perfectly when he said it. You try
to see what they're doing. They just don't have the Jimmies and Joe's to execute with the exes and os. You know, you you that it's gonna look very similar to what it did a week ago. The problem is they don't have a hunt or uh, you know, a conkling upfronts. They just don't. They don't. They don't have the horses, they don't have the dogs, they don't have the Nick Chubbs, but they have Colombo as their offices line coaching. He he is gonna be upset that he's
not nosensive line coach here. Yeah, listen, you can do whatever you want when you just when you can have And that's the thing about this league is you can you can design whatever XS and O that you want to design if you don't have to Jimmies and Joels to execute it. And we're seeing that on our end as well. You're just you just out here, just you're just trying. You're just trying to hold something works. That's the concern. I mean, do we have the Jimmy and
Joe's on our defensive line? I mean we got the Jimmies and Joel's. Yeah, yeah, we literally got the Jimmies and Joes. Leave me. Hey, what's more? What's more? By the way, it's Mark Colombo's birthday today, Shout out Mark Colombo. What more? What's more frustrating as a player knowing you have the talent and you're not capitalizing on it and not executing, or just knowing you don't have the guys to put to try to pull off what you're trying
to do. The first part knowing you have the talent and just got doing you know, you know, you know, the last the last six Cleveland coaches have had the talent. Stemfaski, Stefoski, whatever his name is, the one that's making it work. Okay, Cleveland has been that team, man for the last two and a half years. They have been that team. They half the talent offensively and defensive and special team. And we saw what they did with just decent coaching. You know,
but do we have the talent? I guess what the question is. I mean, we got the Jimmy's Jones. He's just told you, but we got the goes like you said, it goes back to one two. I saw somewhere where like Cleveland gained five yards average five almost five yards after contact last week. I mean that's just poor tackling, right, I mean, but they also gained almost five yards before contact,
half a dozen, six and another. You know what I'm saying. Hey, I agree not to harp on this and not to go back and try to bring the show down, but we only have three minutes left in this segment. So if I do bring it down for three minutes, I apologize. We'll lift it back up when we come back from break. But to go back to Xavier's comments, can that be a good thing? Not that he made those comments, not that he did that, but can it be a good thing that for this team that Okay, now the national
spotlight like we can't loaf? We Could this be a turning point where players are calling each other and calling themselves out and it's like, Okay, we gotta get this fixed. Could this be like a come to Jesus moment where it's a turning point in the season for this defense? Or is that just is there no good that can come out of that? If I knew this, see, if I knew their core and who they were in the first three games, then I'd be like, yeah, yeah, but I don't know they core. So I'm just gonna wait
and see. I don't I don't know, you know, I don't know. Yeah, it's just there as a certain thing that's become wild to me is when you have to start finding things to motivate you. I just and maybe I'm just different, Maybe I'm just cut from a different cloth. Yeah, I just like, you need to find things to motivate you to go play the game of football. Are you kidding me, sitting grows like, are you kidding me? Like
I do? I need to say something dumb. I need to have this foul doodoo come out of my mouth and have people across the nation ridicule me, laugh at me, call me names, for me to go out there and play hard? Are you freaking kidding me? Come on, like, I just don't. I don't understand that logic. Will something great come out of this? I have no clue. But if you gotta do, if you, if it comes to this in order to get you to play hard, or in order to get you to not loaf on a play,
damn it, don't play. Just go do something else. Go play backgammon, Go, go go read a book, Go do something else. You should not have to find exterior motivation to get up for a football game. You this game hurts too much, Shannon, This game hurts too much, Kurt, Chris Beam that you know this. It hurts too much. You put too much time, energy and effort. You sacrifice too much. You'll spend more time in this facility on the practice field than you do with your natural born family.
And so for me to have to hear someone to say, I gotta find motivation elsewhere or this, or you ask the question, will this help galvanize this group? It's mind blowing to me that I like, this is what you do. Come on, I just don't. I don't get it. I don't. And again, I'm I'm a little bit older than these guys. I was raised under a different group of circumstances and a different set of principles than these dudes. But god lye, it drives me say I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
It drives me insane to even think, Oh, it's just we'll see. Man, this this is this is a good game to watch. I mean, everything is building right, Everything is building right. I mean we're going up a hill now. Everything is building right. Shandew we will see, Okay, we will see. And I will get your opinions when we come back, Kurt, We're gonna get you to give us some staffs. I want to get your opinions. Is this. This is a division game, and the worst division arguably
in football right now. So you're right in the thick of it, even though you're one in three, you're in the drivers. How do you not want to compete. I'm just I'm over hit tripping. We not want to compete at a hun All right, go ahead, let's go to break. Okay, we'll go to break. I want to know when we come back. Is this a must win game for the Cowboys? Five games into the season already. We'll get into that and much more when we come back. I'll hang it
with the boys, ladies, and gentlemen. It's that time again for tailgating with the Auterbox boys. Autterbox the company that builds wildly overproductive phone cases, the one and only, but cases are just the start. Auterbox is the official outfitter of tailgating. we need those. We need those. Yeah, my tight Friday. Yeah, I'll see. I'll see if I could work that out. No promises, but we'll see what we can do. Right. Okay, you're welcome. Last ten minutes of the show, Kurt. You got some stats for us? You want to run through some stats? You want to what do you want to do? Listen, this is your segment. You weren't you weren't here yesterday, so this segment, Yeah, take it away, Kurt. Kurt Daniels,
ladies and gentlemen. Well, you had mentioned, I guess before the break that you know is this a must win game three of the next four games or against NFC's opponents. So this is the worst division in football, So miraculously the Cowboys are still in it, obviously, but how important is this game? If they do, they need to make statements now, I mean i'd assume they obviously do. But what do you guys think is this? Is this a
must win game? I thought last week was a must win game because I saw the talent that Cleveland had and I thought it would be a great thing for the Cowboys to win. So, uh, you don't know what this season bring, how it would be cut off short, will it go long? You don't know. So every win is so much figger this year because it's a pandemic gear and uh and one in three and you know, and we can say we should have beat these teams. What you're saying is if we should have beat these teams. Uh,
you're saying that this is a playoff bound team. You know, I don't see it yet. I don't I really don't see it yet. I think this is a must win this, This is a must win for the Cowboy. First of all, you can't afford even in the standings, but just from the the the the outside world perspective, you can't afford to lose another game. You can't afford to lose a game in this conference, your your team morale, You're talking, you're talking about it. It's bad. Now, lose to the Giants.
Lose to the Giants, and you you think you think they're laughing at you. Now you think they pointing at you saying ha ha. Lose to the Giants and you're gonna see, you're gonna see he'll break loose. Now. I'm with you, Nate, But you're fool about if you want to lose to the Giants, you're gonna be You're gonna you think you're laughing stock of the National Football League right now? Boy, oh boy, oh boy? How much I know we've talked a little bit about it before, but
you know it's since Scarrett was here. You know, there's it's a new defensive scheme, there's some new players. But how much influence can he actually have in this game? How much is there a carryover as far as he knows the players? He knows the players, the ones that are still here, you know, in some passing schemes what they can and cannot do. But where his guys, his Joe's whatever Jesse call him, will they'd be good enough to to to translate that to the field. We'll see.
I mean, coaches know you it's it's and I give example, you know Rick Sprost for the heat. He know Lebron. But see, like I ain't had to go gets Lebron seventy game. It is a different story going against that man, you know what I'm saying. So it's do we have the guys to make it work? Uh? I don't know. I hopefully had the guys to make it work. Hey, Kurt, you know, fellas, I'm gonna tell you something. Last year we was all on coach Marinella for simplicity. But you
know what guys got. If guys got beat last year, it wasn't because I just don't remember a game like that, do y'all? I mean just think guys were better than our defense, but I don't remember. I'm just trying to remember helped me out here, and I'm honest, where did the effort go? Is what I'm saying. From the Browns game that I thought that that was the first game I thought were they just didn't really have the fight
in them and sorry they are. They missing guys like you know, Byron Jones on the back end and Sean Lay some of those veterans that that could maybe straighten us out a little bit. Are they. Is it gonna make a difference from guys like Lee and even last year games where teams were better than us, the eight losses that we had except the last one against the Eagles, teams were better than us. Now nobody wants Jets weren't better than us, but teams were better than us. The
Jets weren't better than us. The Bears. Nah that na that Yeah, they wasn't. But at least the guy tried to run them on the eighty bomb. Least the guy tried to run and catch him. I mean, the effort was there. I think the guy the teams they lost to this year are better than us. So this is so, this is a big game. I guess this is a team they should be better than should that and they
should win. They better win. What I can't figure out, Fellas, is that you know and now it's and maybe it's just a learning curve this year, and maybe it's the new coaching staff and the new whatever. But every year for the last four or five years, including this year, we hear about the talent. We hear about the talent. We hear it internally and we hear it externally. This time, this team, they got the talent, they got the talent, they got the talent. Well, we used to be able
to blame it on on coach Garrett. You know that was the that was the catch all that was with the fans. Well, the offense is to vanilla, the play calling is not aggressive enough. Well now you got you got a new coaching staff, and we hear about the talent. The talent, especially on the offense. You got all these offensive weapons and thee oh they're producer now. But you know it's it's it seems like we always we either overvalue the talent or the talent isn't living up to
the potential that they have. And I'm just baffles me that you know, we we're back here again this year after we all, I think everybody on this show thought, hey, this is this is the staff that's going to get the most out of the talent, and through four games, we just haven't seen that yet. This is what I believe. I've been let down by done Terry Poe and I've been let down by Everson Griffin. Those are guys that
I knew would make a punch. Now Tyrone Crawford, I'm thinking, Okay, we're gonna start seeing the old tyrone, the effort, the effort guy because he's coming off injury two double hill surgeries. So but other than that, those are the two guys who have really let me down defensively. Offensively, you you can't have nine turnovers because everything is predicated on our offense. Every every everything is predicated on our offense. And all our specialties have to do is don't make a mistake. Dude,
played by the numbers and you will be Okay. We gotta learn offensively, have to take control of games time of possession along with thirty eight points? Uh is coach Kellum got to that point, is Zeke gonna continue to put the ball on the ground? Is is that gonna continue to throw interceptions with fifty seven passes a game? What a what A what a crying shame? Nate? You know not you, but I'm saying, what a crying shame. Is that we're asking for the bear minimal from professional players.
Listen to special teams. If you just just don't mess up, that's right, I mean deep, if you can just hold them. One thing, how pathetic? Yes, is that we are asking for the bear minimal from the best of the best in the world, Craig top flight security in the world, were asking for the just just don't mess it up, please, just just We ain't asking you to We ain't asking you to be great, we ain't ask you to be sorry. We're just saying, please please show us a little grace
and just just do a little something right. Just please don't hurt us. Now pathetic that we have to ask for the bear minimum in order for us to stay competitive with defense. If you can just give us some effort, I mean, if you can just make a play, if you can please just get one turnover, then maybe we'll have a chance. This is the National freaking Football League, and we are asking the bear minimum from the best athletes in the world. Yep in Washington and New York
actually the same thing. And that is pathetic. Yeah, it's three twelve and one is our division. And so if we play heads up special teams, if we play want to defense, our offense, your obliterate day defense, and now we'll be two and three. And if we I don't care what the rest of your division does. It is
what it is. Until you see better, you can want to ask for what for what you for what you've seen we're living week to week on and if if the defense will just show up a little bit, if like, if the offense don't turn the ball over your I mean, but you know what, I'm gonna live on that. Niho's gonna live on that. Yes he is hurt West Monroe, but I'm gonna live on that. Kurt before we get out of here, zoom in on King Chris, I see, you got your a little ode to h Eddie van
Halen passed away yesterday at sixty five. Got your little van halendin on the n the Devil, Yeah, I got my little van Halen pan got a little Yeah pictures with the Devil, man, big one that hurt. They was tough one, bro. They had some good music. Man. What was what was your favorite the big blow you? What was your favorite with Devil? Were you? Uh, Sammy hagar
fan or David Lee Roth fan? Uh? You know I liked him both, probably Roth the original band better, but I was a big hagar fan before he joined and and so it didn't he ran up one of these one of the other ran out. The police ran out the message bottom. What was your favorite album? The first one? Obviously? My favorite song was unchanged. So yeah, okay, I heard a lot. But back in the day we spent many a night rocking out to Van Hayland. Yeah jump was
did you do something else? Why you was rocking to him? I ain't no, I hain't no. My lips are stilled. Okay, so you know how you know what to say and not what to say? Okay? Yeah? Was actually the whatever I was probably that was a skate, That was a skate and rink anthem. Whenever I was fourteen or fifteen, that's all it would come on and everybody what was it? I saw roll, skate, bounce, jump and Panama. Oh man. I never saw him in concert. I hate I never got there and got to see them. So all right,
fellas out of top. You know what, I don't even know if we I don't even think we can play Grayson Grayson nice and not nice tomorrow. I don't even don't you think we can do it? Maybe maybe, I don't know, maybe we'll figure something out. Maybethetic, no effort. No, hey, listen home things of home, and you may call me a lot of things, but you will never question my nay. Thank you for breathing a Jesse good stuff. Today, Kurt r I, p Eddie, Van Haley, Chris, thanks for keeping
us on the air. Tomorrow we will have We'll figure something out tomorrow, Friday, hanging out with the boys. I don't know what I just said, but come catch us tomorrow. See you, see you bro. This has been a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club.
