In this episode, Carrie and Chris chat with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Ed Lobaugh, about all things mental health. Carrie and Chris both share a little of their own experiences dealing with stress, anxiety, PTSD and depression. So many of us, cancer patients or not, deal with some form and degree of anxiety. No longer should mental health be a taboo subject. Let's keep it real and learn from one another on how best to cope with this crazy life. Ed is a graduate from Univ of New Mexico, who is experienced in treating children, adolescents and adults. He has spent the last 20 years of his life caring for people with medical and mental health issues. He has had the honor to serve Veterans in the ICU, supporting and caring for families in the community and working with adolescents transitioning from Juvenile Detention to home. Ed believes his calling is helping people face death and dying, and or life-altering health that affects their mental health.
