Grief is usually associated with death, and therefore not often discussed in survivor communities, but what if I was to tell you that for all survivors, we go through the 7 stages of grief just like others who have experienced deep loss do? What we lost and the cost to us can have us reeling between denial to anger in a heartbeat. have a listen as this may offer some insights into how you have been feeling.
The 7 stages loosely defined are: Denial, Anger Bargaining, Depression, Upward Turn, Reconstruction and Acceptance.
