Got a new Group twenty seven smart battery from Power Queen one hundred and twenty five ampowers. We're gonna put it on the tester. This has Bluetooth five point zero in it, and it has low temperature cutoffs, so when you get down to a low enough temperature, it will cut itself off and will not continue charging the cells,
which could potentially damage the cells. So I've worked with a few other Power Queen batteries in the past, and I've been very happy with them and really grateful that they sent me this brand new one hundred and twenty five ampower. One thing you'll notice about this is this basically the same size as one hundred ampower. It's a Group twenty seven battery, which, if you don't know groups on batteries, it's basically a car battery sized. It's about
what size this one is. This first one that I sat down was their one hundred em power Mini and it's a really small, compact one hundred amp power battery. Been really happy with this one too. Use this in a battery box for a while. I've got new plans for it soon. But this one hundred and twenty five ampower is just a little bit bigger and again Group twenty seven size included with bluetooth and low temp cutoff.
So we're going to put it on the power meter from West Mountain Radio right now and see what it looks like. Instead of testing it at one amp per hour, which is what I've typically done in the past, it would have taken like twelve or one hundred and twenty five hours, which is what like five days something like that, I tested it ten amps per hour, okay, and that's
more realistically of a load. Nobody's going to use a battery like this and only draw one amp an hour, So a more realistic load gives you a better estimate about how it'll perform, and of course that's what we got. So this came in. The test time was about seven hundred and seventy nine minutes, which is just under thirteen
hours one hundred and twenty five amp hours. It should have been twelve and a half hours at ten apps per hour, so it came in a little bit over that one hundred and three percent efficiency rating and one hundred and twenty nine point eight amp hours is what was read on that. So you can see the graph here, the little red line kind of wavered in and out the whole time, but once it started to drop, it was about four amp hours over the one hundred and
twenty five mark, which is what it's rated at. So that's really good there and overall successful test. I would totally recommend this battery to anybody looking for a battery of this size, or a battery with Bluetooth monitoring services or low temp cutoff control.
