He's never been on the show before with well that he's never been on the live stream before. I
have. I have done interviews with him at his place, at his shop in Paris. We actually did a live stream for one of his ham Radio days out there, so we're going to uh, we're gonna tease him about that here in a little bit too. He needs to do another ham Radio day. So yes, the the eclipse is a week from tomorrow, April eighth. Once again, Frank talked about this on his channel. Ham Size
got a big thing going right right now on on their website. Uh, and Verns texted me, I don't know why you're texting me, Vern good evening, but uh, yeah, eclipse is Monday, April eighth. I have some plans for that, but those plans might change due to weather. So I'm going to talk about that with everybody once we get everybody on the live stream here. But the solar eclipse q SO party is happening. That

So, hey, today's Easter. Normally, I mean we're not doing a lot of business on Easter or anything like that. But you know, the tomb is empty and all that, and that's awesome and I'm happy for that. We went to church this morning, went down to Clarksville, Texas. My in laws are down there, and we had a big feed and kids and Easter eggs and all that. But man, Friday Friday, they said, look, and I mean, we'll get all this out in a minute. They said, look, Richard, you're gonna have to go ahead and
do this. So I'm not ready. I'm still not ready. The new website's not ready. You know, I'm sending emails. Hey, big news is coming and all that. I know. We talked talked about it a few months ago and you said, when when you get ready to break the news, you know, be sure and let me know and we'll bring you on the live stream. So I sent you a text or something and we talked Friday, and I see it. It's about to happen. You said when May first. I said, no, Monday, you know, April,
April first, April. We can't do it on April first because everybody would thinks of joke for April four. So this is no joke. It is so big, This is big, big stuff. It's gonna shake the whole Ham Radio girls. Jason, Okay, all right, all right, dude, all right, well whenever you're ready, man, I know people were biting, chumping at the bell already. Are you all really ready, because the news is about to break right here, right now, all right,
two months ago. Let's just back up to the beginning. Two months ago or three months ago or whatever it was. I mean, I'm sitting at my little day job and scrolling the internet and doing what I do, and this guy emails from Italy. He says, hey, Richard, you don't know me, but have you ever heard of experts amplifiers. I said, yeah, I heard of him. He used to be a guy here in Texas that rep those. And he said, yeah, we're looking to
set up another distributor. There a distributor. There is a difference between a distributor and a dealer. We're a dealer. My little company's been in business for what almost fifteen years is we're a dealer for Yazoo Icon, Kenwood, a Linko, MFJ and Marytron and lots of other stuff. And I can't even remember it all right now. But he said, we need a distributor, and I said, we'll send me the information. I mean, we get stuff like emails and text all the time China and everywhere, you know
what, you know whatever. I didn't think much about it, but I started reading into it and all that, oh, you got the website up, got the website up, Lash deals and yeah, Wood deals. But hey, look, so long story short. I'm gonna try to make it short anyway. I don't know about that. I look, here's the deal starting April first. That's tomorrow, tomorrow. There's a brand new company that's about to be launched, a brand new website. I can't even launch it.
We signed like legal documents. Christy has been Christine my wife. She's been so busy behind the scenes. We formed a new LLC. Here it is. It's expert amps US, a l l C. All right, there's gonna be a new website pop up here early this week, maybe tomorrow if I can get busy tonight. Expert Amps USA. I'm looking at her because I don't know. You know. It's experts dot com. Yeah, expert amps dot com. And we are gonna handle all the cells of expert
amplifiers s expert amplifiers. They're made in Italy, all the cells from North America and Central America in the world. Baby, I mean, if you want them. But we're the distributor for like, you know, this continent and stuff. It's gonna be big. I mean, this is gonna be so big. I said, I don't even know what an expert amplifier is. So they said, anyone I hooked it up, Jason, there's a
little set up. I want sid thing and all that. You set it up, it will take your hundred watt radio and turn it into a fifteen hundred wat radio. It doesn't even need a hundred watts. No, it takes like thirty watts or something to drive it to full power. You can take it. You could take a G ninety and get leave it or twelve hundred wats out of it a bit. What's a G nine kenwood Jazu and icon baby this? You can take that and hook it to it, and you tell it. You go in the thing and you tell it. I've
got a kenwood and you can hook two kinwoods to it. You can hook kenwood in an icon, a kenwood in a Yasu, and it knows you can key up either mike and it will y'all see my hands. I'm excited, you know, but it'll know, it knows which mike and which radio is transmitting, and it'll go. You can hook four antennas to it. I mean, I'm terribly excited. This is not the old tube type honkers.
You know that you have and all that. If you have one of those traded in, traded in, I'm gonna hook you up with a deal. So four antennas, two radios, key it up, it'll go to the right antenna. It has a built in antenna tuner, what meters built in. You're saving money right off the bat It's a big deal. I'm sold. My customers are gonna be sold pretty soon because this, I mean, this is the next generation of HF power. This is not Russian tubes
that you can't get anymore. This is not three five hundred z's or three x eight hundreds that are five hundred dollars apiece. This is the real deal, Jason. This, I am so pumped up. I haven't been this excited. I am so excited. I quit a six figure job to go do this. I must be insane. Christie is like, you have lost your mind. Maybe maybe I've done it before. I'm jon I'm sorry that good man. That's awesome. That is awesome. So okay, so people are asking, okay, so a couple of things. Number One, I
want you. I want you to tell people about the case that it comes in you and I talked about that a little bit yesterday, and people are asking the price of it and whatnot. But I know there's four different models, So why don't you talk about that? Oh my gosh, look, I think I've got to pull up over here. There's right, yes, there's three. There's actually three core models right now. There's a hang on, let me move this out of the way. I've got too many monitors
and stuff going here. There's there's a one point three K model with the built in antenna tuner. All right. I'm not gonna tell you the price. I should, but maybe i'm not. It's under five thousand. We'll just say that under five thousand dollars, all right, which is a bargain at twice the price. And the thing weighs the one point three K it weighs like eighteen pounds, not even that. And it comes in a cool case. Ruby Jack's here, Ruby Jack, hand me that case. She
just daughter, y'all look at my daughter, Ruby Jack. Can you see it? Can y'all see it? Yeah? Yeah, she's in there. Yeah. Look. Oh. It comes in this cool case right here, and you can carry it the amplifiers in here. It weighs like nothing right now. I mean, it's crazy, and it runs on it when they come into me, it'll come in with the European plug on it. I'm gonna hook you up. If you want it to run on one hundred and ten or two twenty, I don't care. I just change the plug or
you can change the plug. And if you want to take it on your d expedition down to I mean, if you're going to Antarctica or tarks and Kkos or wherever you might be going, you can are the picnic table at the lake. I mean it weighs like this. Look there's an amplifier in here, y'all. Wow. Yeah, there's no light and you can plug it in one hundred and ten or two twenty, it doesn't matter. It's at home in the shack or out on the park bench. Either one.
That's the one point three K. They make a one point five. It'll still run on one hundred and ten and two twenty as well, and then they make the two K model as well. I don't think that one is quite as portable as the other two models, but hey, they are all awesome, every one of them. I have a one point five in my shack. I'm fixed to put a two K. And there's news of a a new model that's coming that's going to be announced at Dyton, and it
will be in my boot. The president of spe Italy will be in my boot at Dyton. So I'm so excited. I know you are. I can see it in your face. You're excited too. You you won of course, Yeah, of course. I'm always excited, man, I'm always excited. That's great. Okay, all right, so we got at least three Yeah, I that is amazing. How lightweighted is I thought you said that amplifier was in that case. I'm like, no, that's an empty case, dude, Come on, it's stretched a little bit. Okay,
all right, all right. I was like, you can throw that thing and bounce it off your head. Okay, but they're still not They're still not very very heavy. I don't think right, no, they're not. It's like I think it's like eighteen pounds for the one point Yeah, and you can really the case though, this is like carry on. You can carry it on on the plane if you're going somewhere or whatever, or yeah, put it in your glove box. You got a big glove box and you know, I mean, go to the park, have some fun,
throw up an antenna or let's talk baby. Yeah. So okay, so it'll run on ten twenty yes, and that and you said you just you just have to change a plug for that. So I mean that tells me that it's really kind of always one one ten or one twenty and it just takes an adapter to going to the two twin or how does that work? Well? Like I say, when they when they when I get them, they come in with the European plug right And by the way, I'm building
like a staff of experts right now, experts. Right now. I've got service working out. I've got where there's a guy in Florida. I have a guy out in Snyder, Texas that I've known for thirty years. And then stuff that's happening right here in Paris, Texas. When the amps come in, they come in with the European plug on them. We take that off. I'm gonna put a two twenty plug or one ten, whatever you need. But there's no jumpers. There's nothing to change inside the amplifier.
The power supply knows because it's a smart amplifier, Jason, like Alexa and stuff. It's like smart and it knows what voltage and if you get the cable, here's the whole beautiful thing to the amplifier. There's a sky down I think he's in a livingstoner down around there. That's Texas. By the way, Dan Tassel, Dan builds the cables for him. He's done it for a long time, and you take Dan's cable, hook it to that amplifier, hook it to your Kenwood. I can yazu. The amplifier knows
how much power to pull out of your radio through the ALC circuit. It knows, and it will drive it to perfection. You cannot overdrive it if you use Dan Tassel's cables. I'll have all this information on my website soon. It's a very smart amplifier. It's way ahead of anything else out there. I'm sold, I really, I'm so so. I told you I quit my job. I can't even sleep at night. I believe it. I believe. I've seen you do stuff like this before. So oh yeah,
I take risk all the time. And you said there was a people are asking about service. There's a there's a guy in Texas that will service them also correct. Well, I'm I'm not seeing the comments. I see there's like a million of them on there. Yeah, a lot of people to yes. All right, So right now, service, let's talk about that for a minute, because currently, as of March something, I don't know what it said. It was earlier this week, the current distributor has
ceased business operations. And I want to assure everyone out there listening that your amplifiers are still under warranty. Richard Lenore Main Trading Company will take care of all your warranties as long as they're in warranty. I have. I've been talking to Steve in Florida. He's going to continue to service him. I have another technician in training right now. He's out in Snyder, Texas. That's Paul Brady. He's a Ham, been a Ham as long as I
have just about. And so that's happening. There's gonna be two service centers here in the United States, and maybe even a third before too long. So don't don't worry about the service. Richard's got you taken care of good in warranty or out of warranty. That yeah, done, okay good. Yeah. And you said that there's some guys that just they send them in for that, they send them in for servicing when they don't even need it. It's like a tune up or something, just like like a once over
check or something. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, I mean it's it's it's the coolest thing. I mean there, I mean I've ran like old heath kits and and stuff and tube types. I'll take them outside and blow them out with the air hose or whatever, you know, a couple every a couple of years or something. But these amplifiers,
I mean you should you probably should. You know, if you're really taking them out to the beach or whatever, get them sucked full of sand and elements and all that, you probably should send them in and have them serviced, you know, in an outdoor environment and blow them out, clean them up, check everything, and we're gonna get all that worked out as well. So you can send them in and and have them looked at and cleaned up and tuned up if needed. But there's really no need for if you're
running them in the home and your shock and all that. We don't have to do that very often. Yeah. Ever, I mean I've been reading. I've been lurking. I think that's the term. There's a couple of websites. There's a Facebook group, there's it used to be Yahoo, it's something else now I owe groups or something like that for yeah, yeah,
yeah, for expert apps. I've been really lurking in there for the last couple of months, and you know, studying and reading and seeing what all is happening and and all that, and yeah, a lot of people send them in just to just to have them service and good. So we're gonna we're gonna offer that. We're gonna offer that in warranty and out of warranty, uh service center here and real close to Paris, Texas, and another one in Florida and possibly another one a little further north soon. Good.
Okay, Okay, I'm outscited. I can tell yeah, Ham Radio Hobo's asking if it's dual moss moss feed and I know you talked about that a little bit yesterday. Tell me tell us about that. Yes they are. Hey, there's a new one that's coming out, the Taurus. I have emails into Italy right now. But yes, they these are uh dual moss fat amps and there's hey, there's even a lot. I mean, two months, how long has this been going? Going to Christy too much?
Two months? Three months at the most, That's all I know. I mean, whatever you can learn in a few hours at night and just running them. I'm still a little green on them, but I'm still learning. I'm reading every night and I'm running mine pretty much every couple of days and learning the stuff so I'm there's there's users. There's thousands of users of them out here in the United States and North America right now. That they're way more of an expert on them, expert by the way than I am.
But I look forward to learning as we go, and I'm gonna help my customers. I can't wait, and I will talk more about that. I can't wait to help everybody get one if they want one. FCC type selected, Yes, approved, Uncle Richard only sales quality equipment approved by the FCC. Ten meters Yes, ten meters works right out of the box, right to Australia. On my I wish I could take this camera, but it's wired. I want to take it in my shack, which is like through that door right there and show you, but I can't. You know, maybe I can get
on my phone or something in a minute. I don't Yeah, maybe maybe, But yes, ten meters that works out of the box, no problem. Fifteen hundred watts with the one point five or the two K, thirteen hundred wants with the one point three K and some I think you said something about a power sply. You don't need a power supply it plugs in the wall one hundred and ten volt. I'm old school. That's I guess that's one hundred and twenty votes now yeah, yeah, yeah, one hundred and
twenty or two forty. Just change the plug. Plug it in and go change change the plug. Change? Are you change the adapters or the what? Look the correct power? Hang up? I stand by. I don't need to do this because I had to do mine. Can y'all see this? Yes? I can't see it. Yeah, that's that's that's the European plug. Look on this end of it. I cut those off. They come in, I'm gonna change that out and put a us A ANEMA UH type accepted plug on it, either one hundred and ten or two twenty.
I've already ordered those in. They're coming. And when I get the amps in, I'm gonna check them out, make sure they're good. I know they're good from the factory, but you know they come from Italy. That's a long boat ride over here, right, So I want to make sure your ramp is good, and then we're gonna ship them right out. I'll put the plug on it, your choice, and is it the standard computer
plugs on the amplifier end plugged. It can be if you want one hundred and ten you know, or one hundred and twenty volte whatever we can. We can put that on either the one point five or the one point three. That's that's no problem. Cool cool. I like two twenty though. I like vaulted and watts you know. Yeah, find that in Texas, right right? Yeah? Good, okay, okay, good? Uh that for me, y'all hit me with some questions, man, I'm one about
what about Belton? What about Belton? I love Belton, Texas. It's the greatest hand fast in Texas, that's for sure. Well, they want to know you're going to be bringing these to Belton. Probably not. We won't have them in in time because because we don't officially expert amps, LLC does not officially exist until April first, so we will not see our first shipment until the second or third week of April. So I doubt will have them there. But I will have plenty of brochures and plenty of pricing and
hand fast deals and all that at Belton. Awesome. I saw a couple of questions. Does it have bluetooth? I don't think it has blowtooth I don't know of any amplifier that would have Bluetooth. I don't know why you wouldn't both, but it will remote. You can plug it in to your network and you can man all you guys. You guys out there in ham
Radio and Cyberland, you know more about this than I do. You plug it in to your network and you plug your radio into your network, and Jason, you know all about this remote roots and shacks and all that stuff. I mean, you turn the radio on, the amplifier comes on, and if you're out there in cyber Land on your phone, you can control the radio. There's programming software, not programming remote software available that I'll have
on my website. You download it and you can remote right into your amplifier from anywhere on planet Earth. Baby. That's great. Yeah, no, that's it's good. It's good to have. You know, I've always I've been wanting to take a radio the next generation twenty that are crap. This is the deal, man, Oh yeah, this is the deal. No, this is much better amplifier than an amertron. But yeah, Meeritron amplifiers
are good. There's nothing in the world wrong with them, but this, you know, this one's lighter weight, solid state and all that kind of good stuff. So yeah, and I don't think you can remote it America. More to Go first class, baby, yeah, more to go first class. That's right. Cost you a side johnt up to Washington and back. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, no kidding. So what else, Frank, we got anything else? How does it do the s w R match? This is from Wayne. Oh. I am so glad you asked
that, and I hope I can answer it correctly. All three models, the two K and the one point five K come with the built in antenna tutor. All right, So once you go through, once you get the amplifier, I'm gonna have a document on the website, a fast start deal. It's pretty easy. You go through, set it up with your radio. You can hook four antennas to it or just one. You know a lot of m's like may you just have one. You go through and set it up and you tune. You go through every band. This is when
you get it out of the box. You go through every band, go to the bottom of the band, tune it, go to the top of the band, tune it, go through all your bands that you're active on. It's done, and it has the tuner built in. The wat meter is built in. You don't have to have a five or six hundred dollars tuner or more that that will handle fifteen hundred watts. You don't have to
have a watt meter. You don't have to have any of that. And then once it's set up, once you change bands on your radio, if you get Dan Tassle's cable, by the way, it will it will remember and it'll go right back and it'll tune your antenna every time. The tuner is built in. Now, the one point three K of the smaller amplifier, I say small, that's thirteen hundred what that's not small, that's not a six hundred what rice box or whatever? I mean? This is the
deed one. I'm telling you. I'm pumped. You can't get the one point three there without the antenna tuner built in. But all three are the other the one point five and the two K comes with the tuner. And and here's something pretty cool. The one point five it's so far it's my favorite amplifier. I think it'll tune antenna's with a five to one mismatch. I'm pretty sure. That's right. Yeah, that's Justin Man. Justin he's in the chat and he's I kind of got the impression he like works for
him or something. I don't know. He's going to another we're letting out, he says. Yeah, he says, it's a five point it's a three point one on the two K and the one point three one point five handle of five point one five to one mismatch. So yeah, yeah, you're just to reiterated that a bit. You're tuning the tuner to the antenna and you're not tuning your radio into the tuner, so when you tune it
up, you're gonna be tuning on the amplifier. I might have said that those uh that box wrong, but you tuning from the the amplifier to the antenna, and then you you're not gonna tune on your radio, gonna tune it on the amplifier, right, Yeah, you just turn if your radio as a built in antenna tuner, just turn that off. You don't, you don't need that anymore. Yeah, yeah, perfect, Yeah, just go. I mean, I have a I wish I could take this camera.
It's wire. We'll do it another time if you want to. I'll show you my shack. I have a Kinwood. I just if you cut me, I just bleed out Kinwood everywhere. I'm a kin would you know? Yes? I'm thinking June or July something like that. We had some permitting issues with the city. They didn't know where we were
moving. And I got online and did a Facebook live, you know, and and we were good. The people that were doing the work didn't have the permits. And and then but once I walked outside and showed everybody on Facebook where I was at, you know, and where we were moving to, then the city came in and shut the whole operation down. So fun.
