What's up, dude? A DV guide? What state we're in? Texas? What are you hunting? White tailed deer? Richard k sixtrdy Jay? What's up? Dude? Now? Prepping for winterfield Day? Except it I think this year we're gonna do Winterfield Day Galveston. So that's
a thing, alright, get that. Uh you need to show mobile solar power setups. Yeah, we're gonna do that as well. Alright, So I know it's dark out here, but uh, this is my normal live stream time. Uh, hopefully everyone changes their clocks today and it is seven pm in Texas Central Standard time. You can see me on the screen behind me. That's what I look like right there. I was watching Josh last night if you're in Josh's live stream, and after chat, I was showing
a picture of that. So Devosoutdoor dot Com makes this outdoor project movie screen. You get your own projector, but they make the screen themselves and it's made for RV people and you can save a ten percent discount code with h I THINKM, I think Hamradio two. DeVos Outdoor dot Com they're the ones who actually make this light here. Also, that's their what do they call it, light Ranger. That's their light Ranger camping light. And when you
go to an overlanding show you see a lot of people with those. They're great USBC rechargeable with a solar panel option that you can get for it. So that's the thing. So welcome to the stream tonight. This is gonna be a short stream we're gonna do. I'm gonna go for like fifteen or twenty minutes something like that. It is opening weekend of rifle hunting season for whitetail deer in Texas always the first Saturday in Tech The first Saturday in November
in Texas is the opening weekend of deer hunting season. I've been into deer hunting since my senior year in high school. And I'm not going to tell you guys when I graduated high school because why would I do that? Why would I do that? But next year in March for my birthday, an I have a banner year next year and I'm thinking about doing a birthday party live stream. Yeah, I'm gonna do that. So Tank, what's up, dude? Hey, I got your message. Frank, I'm at the
Deer Lease. We're not using zoom tonight, so I don't know if you were Charlie stream toight. I didn't see either one of you streaming tonight at six, so I don't know what to deal is with that. Ad adv Guide Think thank for their four ninety nine super chat. Appreciate you, Appreciate your support. Special shout out to all the folks in green text in the chat YouTube channel members. We're gonna go around. I'm gonna show you everything
I have been using this weekend. I've been here since Friday morning. I left my house at about five forty five am Friday morning, got here about seven fifteen, seven thirty in the morning something like that, and been here ever since, so almost almost seventy two hours but not quiet. Two and a half days I've been here, and I'm gonna go through and show you guys what I've been using. So thanks for joining tonight. I am watching the chat. Thank you, Freddy Max Smash that like button y'all, Jody
Blair Blair which vibe ella, Well, yeah, kind of. It is dark out here, all right. So the first thing, this is my gel gazebo. This is the Gazelle Gazebo Deluxe kit. They actually have a black So I've been getting a bunch of emails about Black Friday sales on lots of different equipment, and I'm going to try to do a shopping video every week until the end of the year. I did one last week. I did not put one up yesterday or Friday two days ago because I was here.
I was going to try to do one from here, and I just ran out of time. I didn't get to it. But I'm doing one next week and the week after and all during Black Friday and all through Christmas and New Year's and whatnot. So Gazelle Tents has a sale right now on their stuff, gazebos, tents, everything, very high quality tents. These lights you see up at the top here is a LED light strip system from Kickassproducts dot Com. I just got in like a couple of weeks ago something
like that. Kind of opened it up yesterday and I'm like, how does this work? And I put it together and I'm like, oh, okay, that's that's kind of neat. So there's four of these strips. I've only got two of them up right now. That's one there, and that's one there, and there's two more in the package. I'm making a video about that, so you guys will see that later. But yeah, those are those are LED light strips that run off a twelve volts plugged into the
eco flow system. I'm going to talk about here in a second. Let's see, feel free to store some venison in my Fezer forty five auto says okay, Lon Moore says, what's the pew poo chambered in seven millimeter magnum Remington seven hundred eighty L seven hundred millimeter magnum is my weapon of choice and has been for about twenty five years. So gigabarts panels there ecoflow wave two
heater slash air conditioner. Dude. It was like seventy five degrees today, so I did not even hunt this evening because it was it was too warm. We hung out at the camp. I just like being out in the woods. I don't really I shouldn't say I don't care. I do care. I like to go deer hunting when I can, but but it was a little bit too warm. The deer weren't moving much today because they don't
move around when it's not cold outside. When it's not at least in the forties or lower, they do move, they just move more plentifully, more regularly, more freely if it's like thirty forty degrees outside or colder. So I hunted this morning, but not this evening. That's my Sterlink backpack there. That's my wave to runner from ECOO. This is my Eco Flow Delta two Max battery and spare battery, and I have been running my RV trailer.
The RV trailer I've been having all the problems with that, you guys probably about I've been running the RV trailer on that the whole weekend. I've had to charge it one time. So I set that up and plugged it into a battery and it's been running on battery power. It ran out battery power for about thirty five thirty six hours, and I charged the battery up with the generator and that was last night, and then this morning I turned
the generator off and it's been running on battery power all day today. So h video on that upcoming on the Unplugged channel. You will see that very soon. But yeah, I wanted to run on battery power this weekend because Ecoflow has been very gracious to me to send me some battery powered products, the Delta Max, the Delta two Max, the River two Max. They've got their Wave two air conditioner, a couple of solar panels and other stuff
and been real happy with the performance of those products. And I wanted to see how long I could run on on battery power with the RB. So that's my that's my Remington seven hundred right there. That's in the Everly Stock backpack. Those are AC ducts for the for the Wave two thing. That's a Biolinos forty watt light solar panel right there. I've got some rope lights I'm gonna put up here at camp. This is a Seek Outside eight person
TP. Hooked up with those guys at the Overland Expo show in Colorado last year and they sent me that TP. I did a video for them at the show and they really liked it, so they sent me a TP and I'm gonna set that up here at the Deer camp and camp in it one night, maybe a couple of nights, I don't know, So that's gonna be a fun video. This is the kick ass this light system that I showed you, that's right there. That's that's in this bag right here.
So that's all that I've got my I don't know if you can see it or not. It's dark out here. That's my electric bike XP two point oh. They just come out with a three point oh a few months ago, and they just come out with a new product last month. So been really happy with the electric bike. And I ride this to the Deer stand in the morning, which is like a four to five minute ride. It's not very far, but that doesn't make any noise, so gotta love it.
And then this is the Deer campaign I know you can't see it's it's too dark. I wish if the time hadn't changed yesterday then be able to see a lot more in here. So let me look at the chat real quick. Don't shoot your eye out. Yeah, June is a bit early for veil passes and't I don't know you guys were talking about something else. I guess Okay. Gazelle Gazebo has become my family's favorite piece of camping. Yes, agreed, Zach. I've had that. That's the Gazebo Deluxe I've
had. I had the uh, the previous version, which I really liked, but this one comes with the rain flaps on all sides and the awning on the front and the waterproof bag. So I've been happy with with that product. Lot Gazelle makes a really cool product. I've got their T three tent that I used at the More Expo last year. Kyle and I both had those those T three tents last year, and we're gonna have that at
the More Expo again this year. So those of you who don't subscribe to me on my second channel, my RV slash Overlanding channel, it's called Unplugged, I'll put a link in the description blow after this livestream ends, but someone can share that. I see Steve in the chat, Frank's in the chat. One of you guys have a have a link to to my second channel. But we're going to be t O and t O has an RV
channel also that I hope you guys know about. We're gonna be starting live monthly live streams on that channel an hour after my ham Radio two point oh live stream on Sundays. We're gonna just do it once a month. And next week, a week from today, we're gonna do the first live stream of the RV channel. We're gonna talk about some of this stuff. So I've got this uh, Forest River Salem f F F s X platinum trailer
that's been a kind of a total nightmare. If you guys have seen those videos in my channel, then you know kind of the story behind that. It's been. It's been the pain of the butt, but it's been some really good video info. So I don't know, I kind of like making videos about it. But but that's that's the thing. Two of my favorite things. Dang, you have channels for two of my favorite things. Yes, Mike, I do so. Uh so, Yeah, the morex More
Expo. We talked about this on Josh's stream last night. I've talked about this this several times before. And what's up, Josh. It's dark out there, Yes it is. You're right. Well, you're in California, man, so you're two hours earlier than I am. Uh I'll go in here where the light is. So morexpo dot Com go to the website morexpo dot Com. I will have a discount link four tickets to that show. They emailed me last week and they said we're working on it. You should
have it next week. I don't have it today, but but I'll share it later. It's in Springfold, Missouri. It's the second or third weekend in April, I can't remember when it is. Morexpo dot Com go out there and look, and we're gonna get a big Ham radio presence out there
next year. Shane Kyle, Robert Digital Rancher, Bill Hemriyo Tectonics and I and Frank I think is gonna go with us, and and I'm not sure about Mike or Scott yet, but we're gonna get big Ham Radio group out there and we're gonna do some live streams on this probably somewhere in the March timeframe and announce it to everybody, to everybody, to UH to to try to meet us out there. We're gonna go out there and camp in the in the parking area. We're gonna set up a hex beam so that people
can walk by and say, what are you guys doing? What is this clothesline hangar thing you guys got out here? Because hex beam always gets some attention, right, So we're gonna do that next year. Next year. But we're really looking forward to been to that show the last two years. It's a great show. I do a presentation on radio using radio in your overlanding rig. We go through GMRS, we go through CB and we go through Ham Radio, and I do a comparison of the of the three.
Of course I like Ham Radio better, but the the theme, the theme of the presentation is get everything, use everything, because there's there's there's nothing wrong with any of it, so whatever you want to use is just fine. Let's see, Uh looks like a really comfortable deer glamp. Yes, yes it is, you're right. Count me, oh gray man, count me in my overlanding channel. In on the more Xpo next, good gray Man, we'd like to get you on one of my live streams upcoming.
I'm gonna try to have a different guest on my live stream upcoming every month on the overland channel. T O is this month, Hank Strange will be on next month. I think probably Kyle will be on in January fifty to fifty on that. But if if Kyle is on in January, if you want to come on on February, gray Man, Poda, you're welcome to do that. So we're gonna do some live streaming once a month on that channel. But yeah, more Expo next uh, next April gonna be a
really fun time. We're gonna we're gonna tent camp out there. If you don't want a tent camp, you can stay there's there's local hotells and whatnot. You can stay out and whatnot. If you live locally, you just drive out for the day and drive home that night. That's cool. Also, whatever you want to do is cool. But yeah, tent camping for Friday and Saturday night, so we'll be there for about three I think we're
gonna get there on Thursday. Actually, Shane and I are gonna drive Shane and Robert and I are gonna drive up on Thursday and meet Kyle there. Frank might come with us too, I'm not sure on that yet, and then we're gonna spend the weekend there. So we Shane and Kyle and I went into a poda. It was like ten minutes away last year when we were there, so it was it was, it was. It was a good show. Good show. This some poda can't ever go wrong with that.
But that's uh, that's that's next April. Like I said, we're gonna be live streaming on once a month on the Unplugged channel starting next week, and I have t O on and we're gonna just talk about r V stuff because he's got an RV channel. I've got an RV channel, and we're gonna go from there. So you gotta say hi to Elector real quick, real quick. Here she is, she's waiting inside the trailer. She wants to come out, but then when I let her out, she she
wants to go back inside. So typical female, she can't decide what she wants. Ooh, did I say that out loud? I saw my wife in the chat earlier, so I probably would not have said that if if my wife was not in the chat. Yeah, but yeah she's yeah, Electra's Electra has fun in the in the woods out here. She likes to hunt rabbits if I let her off the leash. But that's the thing. So uh, yeah, you can see this. This Devils Outdoor out camping
or movie projector screen is really cool. I picked this up at the More Expo Lasher Devils Outdoor is at the More Expo. They usually run a sale and you can get their camping light, their light ranger, led lantern, USB retrouble led lantern, and uh and this screen and they have three or four other products as well. Great folks out there, if you if you do contact them, make sure that I do have a coupon for them and
I'll put it in the chat later or in the description later. But if you do contact them and buy something, make sure you tell them you heard about them on my channel. So I do get a little bit of credit for that. So that's that's cool. Let's see my wife in the chat now, me and two other dogs really interested in what you are using for power? Is it solar set up at them? Uh? Yeah? So okay, so right now, right now, I empowered everything. Although the
entire RV right there lights water well. Okay, so the heater and the water heater are propane powered. The fan that runs the heater is electric. The eight the refrigerator is twelve volts. And everything's running off of this ecoflow system right now. And like I said earlier, it ran for about thirty I got here Friday morning and I set it up by lunchtime and it ran
for about thirty about thirty six hours. I had the fire of the generator up at midnight last night, so it ran from about noon on Friday until midnight Saturday night, and it ran everything. Now. I'm not running the air conditioner. It's not hot enough outside for an air conditioner right now, so it's running the heater propane, the water heater propane, all my lights, refrigerator. I haven't run the microwave yet, but if I had the
microwave, it's one hundred and ten volts as well. But the ecoflow battery system right there has run everything for thirty six hours. I charged it up last night. It's got about thirty hours left on it, so I think I'd get about thirty six hours off of that battery pack is running my star Link right now. It's a charging charge my phone, of course, charge my cameras, charge my gimbal, charge my I haven't plugged the bike into it yet, but you know, everything I had to charge I plugged into
the trailer, and the eco flow system powered all of that. So I wanted to do a And it's nice to have a battery powered system instead of a generator running because it's quieter. It's much quieter now. I don't mind. Frank's always complaining about the noise of the generator and some people don't like that, and that's okay, that's okay. I like the soothing. I
think this the generator running is kind of soothing. I think I like to hear a generator running when I'm in the woods because it's like it's like a rumble noise in the background, and it helps me sleep better. But this week, you might hear it right now. So my buddy's over there. They're camp just like fifty feet that way. They're running their generator. It's if I I like a very low rumble that I can hear at night, but it's quiet here in my camp because I'm running on battery power, So
that was that was kind of nice. But it's a different experiment. It's just what I'm doing this weekend, and I wanted to try that. And like I said, I'm making a video about the battery power system and how I'm working it and how I'm doing it and everything like that, and that'll
be posted on the up plug channel probably next week. How many amp hours is the ecoflow so it is about four thousand watt hours total the eco flow the main unit is about two thousand watt hours, The one on the top there is about two thousand watt hours, and the bottom one underneath it is another two thousand watt hours. And you can actually add a second one, so I could have a three stack right there. I only have two they only sent me to. I'll probably buy a third one, honestly because it
works so well. I really enjoy this. But it's two thousand there, two thousand there, so four thousand total right now. I can add another battery to it for another two thousand and get a six thousand what hour total out of that, and presumably it would run for about with another with a third battery on it, which is a maximum capacity it'd run for about another eighteen hours, So thirty six plus eighteen is what fifty four hours, So I could get just over two days on it, which is great because most
weekends I come out here, I come out here on like Friday, warning or afternoon, and I say through Sunday, so it's a weekend trip. So if it would run for fifty four hours, it would run me for the whole weekend. Again, not running the air conditioner because it's cold out or it's supposed to be. It's not really cold right now, but it's supposed to be cold outside during hunting season. So heaters run on propane. Everything else runs on electricity, either twelve voltes or a hundred and ten volts,
and that is that's how that works. Oh let's see, have you done or will you do any videos on soft start for an error conditioner. I have not, and I want to because cam for Ack Jason has a soft start on his air conditioner on his trailer and he was telling me about it at the Huntsville Show last year, and I want to try to do some research on that. So I have a question for the community here.
I have a question those of you with with RVs or with more importantly, those of you with backup solar generators, backup battery systems for your houses or something like that. What is what is it called? How do I get? So? I have a generator? Let me show you, guys my generator. I have a Champion generator Right where the heck is it? Oh? I put it here right there? Okay, I don't know if you can see it or not. Maybe too dark? All right? You see
the fleshing green light. You can't see that. It's too dark. It's too dark. Okay. So I have a Champion generator with a battery electric start. It's a push button, so all I have to do is push a button once and it turns it itself on. Push a button second time, auto chokes and auto starts itself. So if I wanted to hook my generator up to a battery system and have it auto start by itself, which it has a remote for it, so it has the capability to auto start,
either push button on the unit or a button remote. If I wanted to hook that up to this battery system and have it auto start when the battery got to a certain voltage, down to certain voltage, is there a system or a device that I can get that will do that, That will allow an electric start generator to start when it's connected to a battery and the battery gets down to a certain voltae. Because there's a bunch of overlanding rigs
and vans that have a built in generator that do that already. Just like oh it gets down to like say eleven point nine or eleven point eight. Voll it's oh, the generator starts to charge to back up, generator shuts itself off. What can I do to get that type of system set up here? Is there a thing for that rather than just buying a van that already has it built in? So put a comment in the Put a comment in the chat below, because not in the live chat, but a Raspberry
Pie, Steve, we can program a Raspberry Pie to do that. Ecoflow generator already does that. Ecoflow generator already does this one does not ecoflow gas generator sure generator start dingus? Is that what you said? Okay, you guys in the live chat. I appreciate you being here, but put it
in. Put it in the comments of the regular so that or email me or hit me up on discord or something, because I want to have a because I've already got the generator, I've already got the battery system, and I want to know how to hook the two together so that the generator kicks on auto start, charges the battery and shuts itself off. And I want to know how to do that myself, a DIY type thing. That's what I want to do. So and now on my campaign buddies are sitting over
there in front of my screen watching me. I've got the volume turned down and they all think I'm a dort because I do YouTube or ham radio and that's okay, I don't I don't mind that. That's I mean, they're not wrong. Right, Let's see, what you really need is an automatic transfer switched battery bank manager Node red well noe red would probably do it, that's true. Uh, yes, okay, So battery bank switch, auto auto start manager that that that might be a thing. I don't know.
I don't know how to do it. I don't know what to do. But I would like to try to do something like that so that I can build it myself and then make a video about it and make it several views about it. But that's the thing. So, so the weather out here has been too hot. It kind of cooled down in Texas two or three
days ago, and then we got here on Friday it was nice. It was nice in the forties on Friday, and then yesterday it was in the It was forty five degrees when we woke up yesterday morning and got into the sixties yesterday afternoon. Today it was fifty seven when we woke up this morning, and it got up to seventy four or five in the afternoon. And then tomorrow and the next day it's supposed to be in the seventies and eighties. So it's not cold, not cold, and the deer don't move around
outside much when it's not cold. So yeah, so I'm probably gonna go home on Tuesday. If I do go home on Tuesday, which I'm planning on doing right now, We're going to do a live stream at lunch on Livestream on Wednesday, which I haven't done in like a month or so, so I've been really wanting to do that. We're gonna do a shopping video on Friday. I've already got my video posted for tomorrow. If you're on my Patreon or buy me at coffee dot com. You can see my video
that's posted for tomorrow. I'll put it up live to the public tomorrow tomorrow morning sometime. It'll go live at probably two thirty in the afternoon regular time for me and Central Time, and then I'll be home on Tuesday. I'll do a live stream on Wednesday. We'll talk about some deals and stuff. Black Friday has already started, guys. I got news for you. I've been getting emails from all kinds of main training company, Gigaparts. I haven't
got anything from Ham Radio Outlet yet. I should have gotten something from them. Bridge coom RNL says. A lot of people are doing some Black Friday stuff. A lot of overlanding sites. Eco Flow started their black Flaty, Kickassproducts dot Com, but Bigfoot, Bushcraft, who else several of the places. So Black Friday has start. Black Black Black Friday is actually Black November now. So we're gonna do a video a Friday about stuff like that.
Sales and deals. You guys can find lunchtime livestream on Wednesday. Sales and deals video probably Friday this week, and then a week from today we'll do a Ham Radio two point live stream at seven pm Central Time, like we always do every week, and then and then we'll cut that off right at eight or maybe five minutes till eight, and then we'll go live on my Unplug channel for the first ever RV live stream on Unplug with t O. So that's the thing. That's that's where we're going from there. So I
appreciate you guys being here tonight. It was It's gonna be a short stream tonight. Really like that. You guys are hanging out with me at the Deer camp and we're gonna go fire up the projector and watch the big screen to me out there in the campsite since it's a dark outside right now. So seventy three doll hope to see you in the chat tomorrow for my premiere. I've got a premiere video tomorrow about how to work pile ups at a park, so it should be a fun video. I have fun making it,
so I hope you guys have fun watching it tomorrow. So I'll see you guys tomorrow in the livestream chat. If you have an idea about the generator auto start thing, the charge battery, send men email, hit me up on Discord and I appreciate you guys being out there. Seventy three to all, I'll take care
