this one here. This is their red Odo one hundred smart battery. It has a self heeter in it and it has a power button that you can turn the battery off and on. But I asked him, I said, they told me it was They call it a smart battery, and I'm like, does it have bluetooth? And they said no. I'm like, typically when you say something smart like this, that means it has bluetooth, like a smart charge controller or smart battery or something like that. I guess you
can kind of define out however you want to. But this is their hundred mp Hower smart battery. This is their hundred MP hour mini, and this is the one we're going to talk about today. It is smaller. It's like ten percent lighter and thirty percent smaller. They were kind enough to send me this battery. usually somewhere around four to five percent. rated right at one hundred mp howers. I did the capacity a test on their fifty battery and it came in right over sixty MP hours, so I was incredibly happy with that. I asked them if I would get the same results with this one. They said no, this one's actually rated closer to what it's actually advertised at. I'm like, great, that's fine because it's the smallest one hundred damp live pop four battery that I have ever seen. So let's take a look. Well, it's good to be in the shack
with the air condisher and out of the cicadas. This is ka is. They're kind of soothing, but they're loud, all right, So red Odo one hundred many, we're gonna hook this up. It's right there, there we go. We're gonna hook this up to the West Mountain Radio software that we normally use. We've got battery type as life P four. Voltage is thirteen dot eight, capacities one hundred and sells or four. I'm going to click on detec to haven't done that yet. Okay, it reads the voltage
is thirteen dot four. Wait, and age don't really matter, so they cut off. Voltage is ten. I could kind of change that to like ten dot five or ten dot eight. I guess the BMS will cut it off. I could put that at zero and the BMS. Provided the battery we're testing today has a good BMS red Odo does, some brands may not, the BMS should cut it off when it says, oh that's enough,
you're gonna damage the cells. We don't want to go that low. You're done, So the bms should always take care of your battery for you. So we'll see. All right, let's click on start. This is one hundred amp hour battery, which is going to take just over four days because twenty four hours a day times four is ninety six. So it's gonna take four days and four hours for this test to complete, presuming that we get the results we're expecting. So once again, thank you to red Odo.

All right, holding true to its word, red Otto, the one hundred mini lives up to extandard several uh like like other red Otto batteries I've tested in the past, this one comes in at ninety eight dot one five nine amp hours twelve hundred and seventy six dot one for what hours, for an efficiency rating of about ninety eight percent, just over ninety eight percent, So that's I'd say that's pretty good if you look right here. I don't know if I can zoom in on that or not. Right there,
yeah, right there. I bumped it while it was running. It took just over four days to run this. I bumped it while it was running right there, so that little spot, it acted like it was going to stop and I was gonna have to start the test over again. But I paused the software. You can, you can while the test is running. It doesn't. It's great out right now it's a it's gotta pause button. You can pause the test. You can stop the test and start the test.
I think if you stop it you have to start over again. But you can pause the test. So I pause the test, reseated my connections and started again and it kept going.
