thought i'd walk through the flea market this morning. It's Sunday, of course, and um it's not as there's a lot of there's a lot of the flea market guys that leave on Saturday. They don't even like pack up Saturday night and they just head So that's a lot less crowded today, but there's still stuff to see. There's I mean, even with that, there's more stuff and more tables set up right now at this flea market than there are like hardly any other flea market at all, even with the people who left
yesterday. So I thought i'd do I walked through. I did this last year and it was well received, so I wanted to do it again, and we'll see how it goes. Stout out here with the Poda booth. This is outside the flea market right here. Flea market is technically inside this fence here, although they have spaces out here as well. Change parks on the air. Pretty good showing here. It's always always people hanging at this booth. James h M radio adventure guy. He was sitting in that chair
right there yesterday acting like he was the King of photo. But you know he has a good he has a good argument to be made about that. All right, let's go in the flea market here. Last night I had a lot of people there. I didn't stay as late. We left out of there there about nine thirty last night. I got here back by ten and I just crashed. Man. Just exhausted. Long week, long and fun week, of course, but just a lot of up time, short day, short nights, and long days for the last

What was the most unique thing you saw this year? Uh? You know what. That's a good question, kind of like test equipment there, most
unique thing I saw this year? Um, I don't know. I mean the nine O five is pretty unique. And then it's a super high frequency radio and they had that on display. And you see how all this is cleaned out right here. I probably should have done the flea market yesterday, but I wanted to see there's still some people left here. The D seventy five from Kenwood was a big hit. People were wanting to see that. I found a guy selling or manufacturing Momo, m o m o or mama
or momo, however you say it. And Tenna's there, Yaggi's I think they're from Italy. They're sold at HRS. You can go to HRS website and find them. And I went by this oneting to interview him and he had shut everything. He had taken all his display stuff down, so I didn't get him on interview. I don't like interviewing people on Saturdays. They're usually just too busy, and you know, they got crowds at their tables, and I don't want to interrupt their sales process, so I try not
to do much on Saturday. But I mentioned them briefly in the live stream yesterday, but I didn't get my interview with them, like I wanted some motorole of stuff right there. But that's okay. I got interviews with VHQ Hacks again, Dave that we interviewed at Orlando last February. I gotta follow up from him. I got a new I got an interview with Buddy Pole about a new rotor they have for the Buddy Hacks antenna, so you'll see that soon. And then I got some video of the MCom row where they
have display vehicles in the front of the ham Fest. H R only has the six meter Momo beam. According to Momo, they have all of them maybe they're out of stock right now. I don't know. They have a portable beam that's six and ten meters that they were kind of pushing with a
show special. And while that's cool and all six and ten meters or two of those bands that you're not going to be able to use every time you go out and activate, so that they were selling it as a portable PoTA beam, which is great if if ten meters is up, you just happen to catch six meters being up, which I know that six meters has actually been up last couple of days. There's been people working ft eight on six
meters. That's kind of fun, but very hit or miss bands. You can't just go out and activate every day on six meters if you want to, like you can't on twenty meters. They basically don't want to do. Yeah, or a lot of motor roll of stuff out here in the flea market used motor role of gear P twenty five DMR who knows. This is probably a good day to find deals because if there's stuff left at tables people don't want to take it home. They might make you a better deal on
it than they did yesterday. Granted a lot of the tables are closed down, so it's kind of a catch twenty two. You either missed it or are you gonna get a really good deal on it? Y? Yeah, why are you're there? Find emil the operators from FM thirty eight in Wisconsin. Huh. I think I know who those guys are. I don't know what they looked like, though. If they came up and shook my hand, I wouldn't know unless they told me round sixty five gus, there you

The weather this weekend has been fantastic. It rained overnight on Friday night,
so not during the show at all. After dark, woke up in the morning. Everything was wet and it was cloudy, but there was no rain falling from the sky, and uh, it's cleared up later that morning and sunny all day yesterday, sunny all day, clear sky, not a cloud in the sky today. Yeah, I talking about walk over here. My sinuses and allergies have been acting up on me too, because hot cold hot cold is cold and are cool in the evening and warm during the day.
Trying to I think I'm actually losing my voice. Oh look at that. Somebody doesn't like FT eight. That's funny. I will not pick a bou Fang and CB or FT eight today. I will not pick on pick on. I got to walk all the way around this fence here. Looks like a lot of that's cleared out as well. There's still some stuff left over there though. Great to see Kenwood, Yes, agreed, great to see Kenwood at amp Benching. I'm glad they made it back. Damn more.

yesterday as I thought I did. Yeah, Frank put a Instagram reel up either this morning or maybe yesterday, probably yesterday about him stealing that new reg expert from Giggle Parts. It's funny. It was Giggle Parts's idea to do that. No, not today, not today. I think I wanted a thousand dollars for US seventy one hundred. That seems a little high to me. Ye had two of them. I don't know what they came with. It looks like you had some other stuff that came with it, ancient Chinese
ox cart wheel. Okay, never know what you're gonna find it a ham fest, this thing, this, this whole field was full yesterday as well. Yeah, pre estate sale. Oh look at that, some old military stuff. Those are cool. Signal core radio receiver. That's neat something down here, but probably not much. We'll go look at that and we'll make it run back up the other row. How's that? The weather has been perfect? Weather has been perfect. It rained overnight Friday night, started after
dark. Apparently it rained when we were sleeping and I didn't hear it, which means I must have been really tired. And then it's just some stuff they're packing up over here. Okay, we'll turn it round, go the other way. And then it was. It was cloudy that next Saturday morning, but those clouds burned off pretty quickly. By I don't know, nine or ten am, it was pretty clear again. It was clear all day yesterday, lunchtime, afternoon and evening got kind of warm, although the wind
was up a little bit so that kept it kind of cool. But today there's not a cloud in the sky. Beautiful day. I don't remember ever attending a ham bention in the past where it didn't rain at least one day, so the rain was perfectly time. This time rained over night on Friday for a few hours, not during the show at all. Didn't make everything muddy. One enough raindow make a mud pit out of the flea market area. So I think it worked out very well this year. It's more outcom

We decided it was gonna be right here. Okay, this part doesn't matter. The name is from No, he's probably a bad idea. Oh boy, his kids are climbing into that that that ice machine back there. You see him in the middle of that. Just got just toed off. I missed a

Sweekend's been great. I was telling the audience earlier. You couldn't ask for better weather. I mean the only rain we had was overnight on Friday, and it didn't rain too much to make things muddy, and it didn't interfere with the show at all. So and then there was a little bit on the Saturday in morning, just what early before it opened. Okay, So I did I got. I slept in a little bit on Saturday morning till eight. Yeah, and uh so we got here. It was done
