Episode description

Ousman Sanyang, 18 years old, from Gambia, West Africa, shares his story about his struggle in Gambia since his father died 3 years ago in a timber harvesting accident, leaving Ousman as the man of the house hold with a mother with Parkinson's & 5 younger siblings, one of which now has Maleria. Dax's goal is to make listeners aware of how they can help Ousman with a GoFundMe campaign.

Now, with the owner of Ousman's house wanting Ousman and his family out by , after the rainy season, which is before Oct. 15th, they'll need to find a new place to go. But without a bread winner, it would be more ideal to finally own their own land, where they wouldn't have to be hit with the monthly bills & so they could grow their food.

The goal is to raise $9,320. This amount would go toward helping Ousman's family buy land, build a house, put food on the table as well as provide much needed clothes and medicine. His GoFundMe page is www.gofundme.com/f/ousmanofgambia.
