In this episode the enterprise has come face to face with an enemy from their past. The Romulans. 100 years has past since the last encounter with the romulans. To prevent another war Kirk risks the crew and his ship to prevent the romulans from getting any further into federation space. *trigger warning* this episode deals with bigotry toward the Vulcan and romulan races. As many trekkies know the world of star trek closely examines issues like this.
