The Christmas Lottery in Spain is a tradition. Even the people like me, who never play anything, we do it on Christmas. Every year on 22th December, thousands of Spaniards participate in the raffle that is popularly called El Gordo.
In this episode I tell you the origin of this raffle, how it works and why it is called like this.
