While we were in Wollongong for our podcast with Featherweight UFC King Alex Volcanovski we also sat down with the man behind the man Joe Lopez. Joe is the owner and head coach at the Freestyle Fighting Gym in Windang and is the man that has taken Alex from day 1 to now.

A lifelong martial artist, his story is anything but conventional. Starting his career as a bouncer he ran a large security firm before focusing full time on his athletes in the gym.
