Selfish vs. Self-less

Lately I've been thinking about why some folks seem to be selfish in their actions. I didn't want to get the lazy answer of, "oh their just assholes". Nah, I wanted to dig a little deeper as to what can cause someone to become an asshole. I've found some interesting information on that search. Then I remembered what my mom always said to me, "never complain about a problem, if you don't have a solution". So, I went digging, and I think I came up with a solution as well.
