Episode description

On this episode of Guidelines I sit down with lecturer and researcher, Laetitia Cassells. Being the course coordinator for information ethics, publishing, and production and design. With research papers on digital wellness, information accessibility for visually impaired students, and early identification of ‘at risk students’ in higher education institutions. Laetitia has an interesting perspective on how information can and should be adapted for as broad an audience as possible. We met-up at Laetitia's office at the University of Pretoria, and spoke about what Plain Language is and isn’t, and how to go about communicating in a more inclusive way in South Africa. ____ Laetitia's University bio: https://www.up.ac.za/information-science/article/2650718/ms-laetitia-cassells Most recent publication: Laetitia Cassells, Nono Dhlamini, Introducing digital wellness to the School Curriculum in South Africa.
