[SPEAKER_00]: Let it out slowly, as you do remember that this is advent, a season of waiting, hope, and quiet expectation. [SPEAKER_00]: In this moment you are not alone, Emmanuel, God with us is here, closer than your next [SPEAKER_00]: He sees you, he knows you, and he delights in drawing near. [SPEAKER_00]: Let your heart slow down, let your mind be still, settle into his presence, and allow his peace to meet you right where you are today.
[SPEAKER_00]: I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world. [SPEAKER_00]: Just as I am not of the world, I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the evil one, sanctify them in the truth. [SPEAKER_00]: Your word is truth. [SPEAKER_00]: John 17, 14 through 17 ESV. [SPEAKER_00]: Jesus, you remind me again that I've been set apart, not because of what I've done, but because of what you've done.
[SPEAKER_00]: You've given me your word and your spirit. [SPEAKER_00]: You've redefined who I am. [SPEAKER_00]: I belong to you now, and you've prayed that I would be sanctified in truth, that I would live differently, walk in freedom and grow in holiness. [SPEAKER_00]: So today, I say yes to your prayer, yes to a life that looks more like yours. [SPEAKER_00]: Still, I confess it's easy to forget who I am. [SPEAKER_00]: To fall back into old habits, to carry shame you've already removed.
[SPEAKER_00]: But your word says, I'm a new creation. [SPEAKER_00]: The old has passed away. [SPEAKER_00]: The new has come. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm no longer a slave to sin, a free to live by your spirit. [SPEAKER_00]: So I renew my mind in that truth today. [SPEAKER_00]: You've paid the price. [SPEAKER_00]: I want to walk in the freedom you've given. [SPEAKER_00]: Father, I lay down anything that's not honoring to you. [SPEAKER_00]: My failures, my weaknesses, and the places I struggle.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for your forgiveness, that is faithful and immediate. [SPEAKER_00]: Plans me again today. [SPEAKER_00]: Reveal the root of what keeps calling me away from your will. [SPEAKER_00]: Expose the lie, and lead me in the truth that sets me free. [SPEAKER_00]: Holy Spirit, lead me step by step. [SPEAKER_00]: Make me sensitive to your voice. [SPEAKER_00]: Help me obey without hesitation, even when it's uncomfortable. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want partial freedom.
[SPEAKER_00]: I want to be holy yours, sanctified in truth and transformed by your love. [SPEAKER_00]: You've sent me into this world, but you've also promised to keep me. [SPEAKER_00]: I trust you, to guide, protect, and stay near. [SPEAKER_00]: In Jesus' name, I pray. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen.
