Grassland fertilisation - plan ahead to optimise spring nitrogen applications

As days begin to lengthen again its time to start thinking about restarting grass growth, so in this episode, Ken Rundle talks to  Philip Cosgrave Yara's Grassland Specialist for advice on what livestock farmers should be doing to proactively manage soil fertility with spring fertiliser applications, particularly nitrogen, to maximise early grass growth while making the best use of nutrients from either manures and slurries, or fertiliser nitrogen.
