Fridays for Future and a Conversation about Racism

Heloise and Elisabeth, 8th graders from King Middle School in Portland are bringing attention to climate change Friday afternoons on the steps of City Hall.

In the second half of the show we discuss how some religious communities in Portland are dealing with racism. Allen Ewing Merrill, executive director of the BTS Center (the organizational successor to Bangor Theological Seminary) in Portland; Reverend Ben Shambaugh, Dean of St Luke's Cathedral in Portland and Liz Parsons, an environmental activist and also a member of St Luke's Cathedral share their thoughts and experiences.
