David Shoebridge: Stop arming Israel, justice for Assange and McBride

Green Left's Suzanne James talks to NSW Greens Senator and Greens Defence spokesperson David Shoebridge about Australia‘s arming of Israel.

They discuss the increasingly prolific Australian arms industry, the lack of transparency and compliance around taxpayer-funded defence and munitions contracting, how Australia continues to arm Israel and other countries suspected of war crimes and genocide, and how the Government and its contractors use data and national security to deny liability.

David also summarises the legal status of Julian Assange’s current appeal, and the further postponement of David McBride’s sentencing.
