Episode description

As much as he’s sorry to see the word “toxic” put in front of the word “masculinity,” Stephen suggests that this word’s ancient Greek roots might provide us with a helpful framework for understanding the damage a man can do. The Greek word “toxikon" refers very specifically to the poison on the tip of an arrow. When a man is “toxic,” he sends out poisonous arrows into his own soul and the souls of others. Toxic men harm themselves and others by abusing the powers that God has given them to use for good. Resources mentioned in this episode: Sign up for the GreatMan Digest.
