Didn't spin anybody. We haven't had a bank hold up in five years. In six years, No, here's how it stacks up, Chief. Five men went to the bank at eleven this morning as near as the bank until they got away with close to one hundred thousand. Ran for the street and this bank gun pulled a gun exchange shots with one of the hold up men, Julie L. Bilatti. Yeah, that's right, Billati and the gutter both in pretty much shape, unconscious and I like people live. Sergeant
quins over with Bilotti in case he regains consciousness. The other forem up Bulotti on the sidewalk pilot or a Green Sadan. Witnesses say it was either a Chrysler or PLUMBERT couldn't get the license number code with one. The witnesses have identified two of the hold up men, Lam and Jack Holster there. We'd like to have those boys. They've never operated a hare chief. Well we
know about him is what you've got from dinner. They've been on the circulation for about seven months, never pulled a job this big before, but that doesn't mean they couldn't. Originally from Oklahoma, a couple of brothers who started out both of them time skipped out on their parole a year ago. Well, this Bilatti is a local boy, we know him. I probably landed here in case the job. Then rounded up some local talent, and that's
what we're hoping for him. They've got Billatti, but may die before we can tell us anything. The other three boys are local talent. Maybe we can trace that green Sitdan if it wasn't stolen. Even if it was, be easier running up some of our own local hoods and a wood the house set a bruns. We've set up the usual roadblocks, covered the airports, the bus stations and trains. He witnesses in the bank got a good look at all five of the men, and they say so. They identify the
house at a brothers. Let's hope they can take the other two. And what about the sixth ma'am driving the car. Nobody got a good look at him. Just look, he's probably the one who owns the car. Jeep Bailey speaking, Yeah, okay, you better get down to the hospital. Let was climb. Doctor say, lad is regaining consciousness. Here comes Quine. Is he's still conscious? And no too late. Yeah he didn't even get a statement, just opened his eyes, took a look at me and
died. It was a coffee man. Oh yeah, please, Well they didn't come up with one identification. I sent him home for no, no thanks. Let one identification. No, they were a little vague. They all got a good look at the host that are brothers, but the others were off near the door or by the side of the room. They identified be a Bobby's picture all right, they all got a good look at him while he was lying on the street. I'm keeping Belody's death out of the
papers. I want the host that of boys to think he can still talk. Yeah, I got them in. You wanted them in the take contenant, Okay, I'll see him in the interrogation room. Stoolies. Yeah, I haven't been able to find out too much on Bulotti that maybe some of the stoolies might give us a lean. I'm sorry, I won't be able to finish your coffee. Man. I don't hope something comes out of this. I hope so. Jenny Cooky, heh Burt, have I can climb?

Yeah, FBI has got every available man on it. We've got every precinct in the city working on it. Sooner or later we're going to turn up with something. Yeah, alsis and I look at we don't pick up one of the house stead of boys, and we might find Merit and he lead us to the rest. We don't
find him. We may get a lead on the green sedan, and so few green Christless sedans in this city. Maybe you'll have a better suggestion. No, but I have an alternate. Make some coffee, and I'm sick of coffee too. Well, man, you think of something, Hand me the coffee. John John Guthine is QUI lieutenant. That bank guard just died. He never regained consciousness. Okay, come on him. That's swell, Matt bank God just died. No identification. Oh, where the devil are

You can have additional schooling and training while you are earning one month a year vacation with pay, a chance to travel and most important, you can serve your country at a time when you are needed. Sounds good, doesn't it. The Army is now offering to young women with college degrees the opportunity to become second lieutenants in the whack regular Army. That means a lifetime
career with security, with all the advantages and privileges of mail officers. But you will have to hurry. Applications must be received by six Army headquarters by January fifteen. So act today, right now. We must see ourselves as others see us. If our nation is divided in any way by rumors or acts against other groups, races, or religions, we suffer. In these times of crisis. We lose not only abroad but at home. Judge your
neighbor, your fellow worker, on his merits alone. Dan coverly speaking, this is CBS where you find songs for sale every Friday night at the Columbia
Broadcasting System. Welcome back, Well. This is an example of a kind of typical pre Miranda case because because in addition to the Maranda warnings, when they were questioning the suspect with the car, the moment that he said I want a lawyer, that would have forced an end to the questioning the way that the Miranda Law has developed, And there are a couple of episodes like that I've heard. I remember one episode of Dragnet where Friday and Romero tried
repeatedly to get a suspect downtown for questioning without his lawyer fighting out. Of course, the Marina warning situation makes that whole tactic kind of pointless. Speaking of Dragnet, over at Great Detectives dot net, we conclude our countdown with the top five best Dragnet stories. Ever, that's the article on Saturday, and on Sunday we continue our countdown of Radio's most Essential People with number twelve and number eleven on the list. You want to be sure and check that
