The family of slain 3rd Cavalry Regiment Soldier Spc. Vanessa Guillen returned to Fort Hood at the invitation of the commanding general, Nov. 10,  to review plans for a memorial gate to be named in her honor.  We discuss that effort, as well as III Corps' "People First" initiative before talking turkey with some senior culinary experts about their upcoming Thanksgiving Day meals they'll serve to thousands at Fort Hood "Warrior Restaurants." (They don't call them "mess halls" anymore.)
